Dr C V Raman University, Madhya Pradesh, popularly known as CVRUMP, is a private university that was established in 2018. It was established by the AISCET Group of Universities and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
It offers UG, PG and PG diploma courses in various streams, such as Science, Agriculture, Management, Arts, Fine Arts, Information Technology, Commerce, Paramedical and more. It also offers certificate courses in Cyber Security, Big Data, Quality Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Micro Focus Software University.
The University has a strong industry linkage. It has signed MoUs with top companies like Microsoft, HCL, BSNL, Tata Motors, etc. The teaching methodology ensures optimum utilisation of modern techniques like online teaching, LCD projectors and e-learning. It also uses Video Audio Learning System (VALS) to enhance the style of education.
The University has several committees and cells for the well-being of students. Some of the committees and cells are Proctor Committee, Anti-Ragging Committee, Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell, etc. It also offers hostel facility to boys and girls with all basic facilities, such as laundry, internet, canteen and more. SC, ST and OBC students can avail hostel facilities at free of cost. It comprises of seven faculties, which are shown below:

CVRUMP Admission Process
The University offers more than 30 programmes, such as BA, BBA, BSc, BPT, BCom, MA, MCom, MSc, MFA and more. Admission to all these programmes is conducted online as well as offline. Candidates can register through the official website of the University for an online application process. For offline application process, candidates need to visit the admission office. The course-wise eligibility details regarding CVRUMP admissions are given below:
- Admission to all UG, PG and PG diploma courses is done on merit-basis
- Candidates, who have completed Class 12 from a recognised board, can apply for UG programmes
- A candidate must have completed graduation in the relevant stream to apply for any of the PG and PG diploma programmes

CVRUMP Courses
At the UG level, the University offers 10 programmes, including, BA, BSc, BLib, BSW, BCom, BBA, BPT, BMLT, BCA and BFA. At the PG level, it offers MA, MSc, MLib, MSW, MFA and MCom programmes. Apart from this, it also offers diploma and PG diploma programmes in Medical Laboratory Technology.
