The best Institute: Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute.

Placements: If we talk about placement, the placement of college is around 68 percent in my batch average of 27 out of 75 students placed by the college, and the offers were slightly lower than expected, but campus is very good if your grades are good. You got placed with a high package, around 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college does not provide the hostel facilities. But the infrastructure is on par with the best college. The building is built in class, way well ventilated, and spacious classrooms are big and equipped with the latest technology to assist both the professors and students with the studies.

Faculty: The faculty was excellent, and the curriculum was well adopted to the modern day needs and competition. The faculty members focused on understanding and self-awareness of the topics rather than feeding them to the students. Among the curriculum, wholesome personality and development are also focused on.

Other: The college days were the best days of my life.

Good college and very good infrastructure .

Placements: Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester for my course and since I did my bachelors, very few companies were given an entry like Sutherland, Movate, Wipro, etc. And there will be placement percentage of upto 85% if used correctly and I myself personally didn't attend placements since I had ideas for a master's in the same college. Actually, since I opted for Masters, I totally opted out of placements, which also included internships. To be honest, there are no internships I heard of back when I studied. We just did one project as a team of 4 at the end of the final year.

Infrastructure: The hostel is present in the first-year campus location. There are individual blocks for Boys and Girls. The boys campus have A, B, C, and D blocks in which there are students from all domains like medical, engineering, degree, architecture, etc. Hostel fees are around 80,000 per year, which includes food, accommodation, and transport facilities. The registrar process is pretty easy; we have submitted all our proof of college, have to pay the fee in the Dean's office and can select our room and block. There are two rooms available in the hostel, one for North Indians and other for south Indians. The food quality is good and students can choose either of the meals. They provide special food on occasion, and they also provide snacks with tea and coffee every evening. There are three people in each room. Students can choose either AC or non-AC rooms. AC rooms cost 30 thousand more than normal rooms and students can opt for bus facilities, which cost around 5 thousand every year with Wi-Fi facility. Campus life is good. There are extra circular activities like events, festivals, sports activities, festival celebrations, etc. Every year, each department has individual festivals where students organize activities and make the event successful. Sporting activities like interdepartmental competitions in cricket, volleyball, chess, TT, basketball, etc. are organized. Students take part in a lot of inter-departmental activities every year. Classroom amenities include projectors and spacious benches. There are a lot of social groups, like NSS, blood donation clubs, etc., in which there are a lot of activities going on. There are clubs like Mozilla and Coding club where students are permitted to take challenges and get a chance to visit abroad nation like UK, Korea, USA, etc. We have a spacious library available 24 hours a day on the main campus, which supports both books and normal books. Every quarter, they update their books with the latest publications and journals. university has a separate library for each domain.

Faculty: Faculty members encourage students when they are interested but otherwise, faculty members just go by book and nothing more and they are well qualified for their destination but more into the student affair than in education overall if you are interested. Actually, this university is well known for their advancements and placements since it is not the government universities, which usually have an old curriculum that takes time to be updated. This university update their syllabus frequently by trying with big companies like IBM, etc.

Placements: Students got internships in different layers, chambers, and district courts. For college placements, the passing percentage required is 70%. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, while the minimum package is 3 LPA. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and Tata are actively recruiting. Additionally, around 60% of students will have the opportunity to intern at Infosys. The top roles in this field are HR and development.

Infrastructure: Meals were very poor. The hostel is very affordable with a fee of 60,000, which includes transportation and food. The minimum cost for a nearby PG for college students ranges from 4,500 to 7,500. The hostel has air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are two hostels: a boys' hostel outside the campus and a girls' hostel inside the campus. The college has air-conditioned labs, a good studio, an animation lab, a projector room, a Mac studio, a chemical and biological test lab, and a large conference hall.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is good. The curriculum is relevant. Only one semester is conducted per year. Exams are not difficult if you prepare at least 2 months in advance. The passing percentage is 50%. If you don't pass in two subjects, there will be a 6-month break. Students are satisfied with the college, as it is one of the best universities in Chennai. The campus environment is nice, and students here are well-disciplined.

Infrastructure: This college is best in our area. The college has large rooms with highly technical equipments. Library has more than 10,000 institutional books and e-books also. They provide hostel facility where food facility is acceptable but living facility is awesome.

Faculty: All faculty members are give us knowledge of Constitution very well. They teach us by online and offline methods. They are teachers with friendly behavior. They conduct tests every week then mid term exam. And the final year exam is conducted early.

Very good college in the south zone.

Placements: They support internships during the final and third years. Many small companies visit, but technical jobs are less compared to non-teaching jobs. The highest package will be around 7 to 8 LPA, while the lowest will be around 1 to 2 LPA. On average, 3 to 4 LPA is common. Not many students sit for placements, and only a few get placed every year for technical jobs. Many students opt for higher studies, and some choose the entrepreneurial domain. There are 50 to 100 companies visiting every year, and they hire more than 200 students from all departments. Placement training programs are available in the third year, where students are trained on question and exam patterns. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, CTS, and Infosys hire in bulk. Students tend to sit for placements from the third year, and the placement team supports students in job searches until the eighth semester. Students from ECE, EEE, and Mechanical get the lowest offers. There are very few internship opportunities available during the third and fourth years, but there is an international exchange internship program where students can participate and potentially get full-time opportunities. There are on-campus projects where students are involved in building websites, and if they find it useful, they may receive full-time internship offers from the Computer Science department. During the third year, there are many non-technical internships available for all students. The department also provides full attendance to students who participate in internships and encourages more involvement in such activities. Top companies like Sutherland, Avin, Tata Motors, and Bosch consider students for internship opportunities during the third and fourth years. Students can also participate in other departmental activities and build projects that support the university.

Infrastructure: There are various events like Pongal and Onam celebrations, but most fests are held once every two months, which is not that great. The books available in the library are convenient to access, and we have smart boards and projectors that make it easy for everyone to see from the back. Sports are prioritized, and the college performs well in sports. The environment is good and provides some peace while relaxing in the garden. There is a cricket court for students and indoor volleyball and other games that students can play at any time. Cultural events and social camps are also held in our college. The classrooms are non-AC, but all the labs are air-conditioned. Books are provided in the college library. The hostel is located on the first-year campus. There are separate blocks for boys and girls. The boys' campus has A, B, C, and D blocks, accommodating students from various domains like medical, engineering, degree, architecture, etc. Hostel fees are around 80 thousand per year, which includes food, accommodation, and transport facilities. Faculty: The faculty can be nice at times and rude at others, depending on the department. Especially during exams, they help us when we need it the most. My personal favorites are the biochemistry and anatomy departments, who made my time in college easier. I personally didn’t like the physiology department due to how they treated us, especially during exams, and sometimes the teaching staff got too personal about our lives, which felt off-limits. There are about five exams before the main one, functioning as unit tests to help us prepare. Class tests are conducted almost every two weeks, which is also helpful. The university exam takes place in August and is relatively easy to clear, not as hard as some describe, but it can be difficult if you don’t prepare. The college strictly follows NMC rules, which is a positive as it helps us prepare for both theory and practicals. Theory provides vast knowledge, while practicals allow us to simplify what we’ve learned. With the introduction of histology, we can apply creativity in our field. They also cover important aspects through regular workshops and guest lectures from other colleges. An important improvement needed is for teachers to have the patience to teach a crowd of 250; they should undergo special classes to ensure they effectively reach everyone. The timing of exams is well-structured, and they provide us enough time to prepare.
