I like this college and enjoyed a lot.
Placements: Around 40 percent of students got placement every year based on academics and performance of students. The highest package goes up to 23 lakhs and the average is 5 lakhs. Top law firms or law companies recruit from here. Yes, there is a compulsory internship in the last two years for my course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs with all equipment, and a neat and clean classroom and library with all the books. There are multiple grounds and courts for students. Infrastructure is average with an attractive look. The hostel facility is also available at a moderate price and has awesome food.
Faculty: I love all the teachers there. They are very helpful towards students. They are well qualified and have different teaching techniques. They help both online and offline modes and clear all confusions of students. The semester exam is difficult and helps twice in a year.

All facilities of this college are good.
Placements: In this college, around 60% of students get placed in this course. The highest salary offered in this course is Rs 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs 30,000 per month. Many companies visit this college to recruit our course students. Most of them are government agencies. Almost 90% of students get internships in mostly government or private companies. There are no roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure in this college are very good. There is high-speed Wi-Fi, large classrooms, a huge lab, and a big library. There is also a hostel in this college. The hostel is very clean and good quality food is provided here. There is also a canteen and medical facilities. Our college has a sports ground and a room to play games.
Faculty: All teachers at Vice College are very helpful in clearing doubts. They are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Their method of teaching is also very good. This course curriculum is relevant so that students are prepared to work in the industry. Semester exams in our college are not difficult. The passing percentage is 35%.

Placements: Students got internships in different layers, chambers, and district courts. For college placements, the passing percentage required is 70%. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, while the minimum package is 3 LPA. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and Tata are actively recruiting. Additionally, around 60% of students will have the opportunity to intern at Infosys. The top roles in this field are HR and development.
Infrastructure: Meals were very poor. The hostel is very affordable with a fee of 60,000, which includes transportation and food. The minimum cost for a nearby PG for college students ranges from 4,500 to 7,500. The hostel has air-conditioning, and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are two hostels: a boys' hostel outside the campus and a girls' hostel inside the campus. The college has air-conditioned labs, a good studio, an animation lab, a projector room, a Mac studio, a chemical and biological test lab, and a large conference hall.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is good. The curriculum is relevant. Only one semester is conducted per year. Exams are not difficult if you prepare at least 2 months in advance. The passing percentage is 50%. If you don't pass in two subjects, there will be a 6-month break. Students are satisfied with the college, as it is one of the best universities in Chennai. The campus environment is nice, and students here are well-disciplined.

Very good college in the south zone.
Placements: They support internships during the final and third years. Many small companies visit, but technical jobs are less compared to non-teaching jobs. The highest package will be around 7 to 8 LPA, while the lowest will be around 1 to 2 LPA. On average, 3 to 4 LPA is common. Not many students sit for placements, and only a few get placed every year for technical jobs. Many students opt for higher studies, and some choose the entrepreneurial domain. There are 50 to 100 companies visiting every year, and they hire more than 200 students from all departments. Placement training programs are available in the third year, where students are trained on question and exam patterns. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, CTS, and Infosys hire in bulk. Students tend to sit for placements from the third year, and the placement team supports students in job searches until the eighth semester. Students from ECE, EEE, and Mechanical get the lowest offers. There are very few internship opportunities available during the third and fourth years, but there is an international exchange internship program where students can participate and potentially get full-time opportunities. There are on-campus projects where students are involved in building websites, and if they find it useful, they may receive full-time internship offers from the Computer Science department. During the third year, there are many non-technical internships available for all students. The department also provides full attendance to students who participate in internships and encourages more involvement in such activities. Top companies like Sutherland, Avin, Tata Motors, and Bosch consider students for internship opportunities during the third and fourth years. Students can also participate in other departmental activities and build projects that support the university.
Infrastructure: There are various events like Pongal and Onam celebrations, but most fests are held once every two months, which is not that great. The books available in the library are convenient to access, and we have smart boards and projectors that make it easy for everyone to see from the back. Sports are prioritized, and the college performs well in sports. The environment is good and provides some peace while relaxing in the garden. There is a cricket court for students and indoor volleyball and other games that students can play at any time. Cultural events and social camps are also held in our college. The classrooms are non-AC, but all the labs are air-conditioned. Books are provided in the college library. The hostel is located on the first-year campus. There are separate blocks for boys and girls. The boys' campus has A, B, C, and D blocks, accommodating students from various domains like medical, engineering, degree, architecture, etc. Hostel fees are around 80 thousand per year, which includes food, accommodation, and transport facilities. The registration process is pretty easy; we submit our college proofs and pay the fees in the Dean's office, where we can select our room and block. There are two messes in the hostel: one for North Indians and the other for South Indians. The food quality is good, and students can choose either mess. They provide special food on occasions and snacks with tea and coffee every evening. There are three people in each room. Students can choose either AC or non-AC rooms, with AC rooms costing 30 thousand more than normal rooms. Students can opt for a bus facility, which costs around 5 thousand every year, along with Wi-Fi facilities. Sporting activities like inter-departmental competitions in cricket, volleyball, chess, table tennis, basketball, etc., are organized. Students participate in many inter-departmental events every year. Classroom amenities include projectors and spacious benches. There are many social groups like NSS and blood donation clubs where various activities take place. Clubs like Mozilla and the coding club allow students to take on challenges and potentially visit countries like the UK, Korea, and the USA. We have a spacious library available 24/7 on the main campus that supports both eBooks and regular books. The library updates its books quarterly with the latest publications and journals, and the university has a separate library for each domain.
Faculty: The faculty can be nice at times and rude at others, depending on the department. Especially during exams, they help us when we need it the most. My personal favorites are the biochemistry and anatomy departments, who made my time in college easier. I personally didn’t like the physiology department due to how they treated us, especially during exams, and sometimes the teaching staff got too personal about our lives, which felt off-limits. There are about five exams before the main one, functioning as unit tests to help us prepare. Class tests are conducted almost every two weeks, which is also helpful. The university exam takes place in August and is relatively easy to clear, not as hard as some describe, but it can be difficult if you don’t prepare. The college strictly follows NMC rules, which is a positive as it helps us prepare for both theory and practicals. Theory provides vast knowledge, while practicals allow us to simplify what we’ve learned. With the introduction of histology, we can apply creativity in our field. They also cover important aspects through regular workshops and guest lectures from other colleges. An important improvement needed is for teachers to have the patience to teach a crowd of 250; they should undergo special classes to ensure they effectively reach everyone. The timing of exams is well-structured, and they provide us enough time to prepare.
