Good infrastructure but slightly disappointed with the faculty.

Placements: Many students in our college get placed in the companies so, if the student is good in studies, he will be placed in a reputed company that tied up with our college. Our college has the tie-up with many reputed companies, but they won’t come for placements.

Good and knowledgeable faculty. Very good facilities

Placements: The placements department works actively. The staff members were enthusiastic in working for the students' welfare. They really care for setting up the student's career. Many companies visited for the recruitment. Staff members are kind enough and 50% of the students from my batch got placed in good companies and good positions.

Not satisfied with the faculty, placement, and management. Infrastructure is good.

Placements: Some students from our senior batch were placed but for our batch, not even a single MNC visited our campus. A few local companies have visited and offered very poor salary package ranging from 10-12k. Some electrical manufacturer companies like Shree Wari Electricals visited our campus and selected 15 batchmates at 12k per month salary but at the time of joining they were ready to pay 6k per month. Not even a single batchmate joined them but our management put that picture of placement session...

Absolutely dissatisfied due to placements and faculty.

Placements: Placements: Frankly speaking, there is not even a single MNC which came to recruit. Even in the previous years too. it has been in such a bad situation. There are only small companies which recruited. Many people did not go to the placement as they were small companies. I can say approximately 30% students of all. The highest salary: 18000 The lowest salary: 10000 The average salary: 12000 Companies which visited are Sans Pareil, Vernalis Systems, Pcl Technologies, Sutherland. Roles offered: ...

Absolutely the worst college for students who want to learn stuff with the worst placements.

Placements: We didn't receive any placements and the placement cell management did not respond to our requests. It is the worst management. Many colleges got placements but we got only 2 BPOs and some fake consultancy services.

It is an average college for BTech CSE. The fee structure is low with average faculty incharge.

Placements: There are only a few companies which take students from this college, so only a few students get placed but if the student is good in studies, he will be placed in the top company. There are links with Microsoft, Cisco and other multinational companies but they did not come for placements.

Review of Dr. M.G.R University.

Placements: The placement season during our batch was quite dry. During that time, ACCL (Automotive Coaches and Components Limited) came and selected just 5 students (luckily I was one among them from mechanical out of 554 mechanical students). Similarly, one company from Pondichery came but never hired any, though some more consulting companies came for the recruitment. I can say that Dr. M.G.R University is not good at all for placements.

The tagline of the college says it all. Job creator not job seekers.

Placements: Placements are okay but the companies are below average. The companies which visit are mostly IT companies giving back office jobs. Students opting for core branch should expect less. The average package was around 1.8 -2.5 lacs. 50-60% students get placed. Very few companies offer site execution profile for civil.

It is a disgrace in the name of education, please don't join this college.

Placements: Internships and placements. The campus isn't familiar with these words. People usually join this college when they just have to produce the degree as a document as and when required. Students who had personal contacts were the ones to receive an internship offer the college had no role to play. Even those who managed to get an internship, it was offered without pay. The placements are nothing but a mockery show they put up and thousands of aspirants come and join the crowd. The only genuine comp...

Satisfied because of good faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There were good placements for our seniors as everyone got a placement in good companies. Someone got a salary of 89,000 in the IT company Wipro. Software development and CCNA courses are also available. 80 percent of students got the internship from the college. 10,000 is the highest stipend.

Good infrastructure, faculty and placements, so an excellent university.

Placements: The placement of my senior batch was good and inspirational because 70% students are placed. The salary offered was in the range of 18,000 to 25,000. The companies which visited are IBM, Ford and Nissan. The roles offered are HR Trainee, Recruiter, and accounts department. Nearly 69% students got the internship in my college, with the stipend offered being Rs 2,000.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, with friendly staff and management. It’s not like any regular college. The unity among diversity, is the best part of it. There are all kinds of labs, with latest facilities and newest equipment. It’s just on the National Highway, making it pretty easy to communicate with. The hostel is great too, with different cuisines that suits the palate of people from various parts of the country.

The college has a good infrastructure, but the electronics and computer labs are not very well equipped. The teaching faculty is knowledgeable, but some of them are not very effective in delivering lectures. Club activities are very good with an active literary seminary and a National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) cell. The departments are very supportive when it comes to sending students to external fests as well as other co-curricular and extracurricular activities. College life is not very e...

Teaching Faculty is not very experienced, HODs are experienced though. Placement is good, so is the infrastructure, and not many eating joints around. College crowd is cool for locals and friendly with North Indians. Not many fests and events are organized. A lot has to be done in terms of learning as well as shaping students’ future. Focus on becoming job creators and job seekers in every speech/guidance that comes from the management. Classes are interactive and a healthy mix of formal lecture...

The student of this university is so unconformable about this fine system. This system must be stop everywhere.

One of the best university inside the Chennai city. Well supportive for the students from the interactive classes. Atmosphere of the college is good.
