No placements at all. All that the placement cell do is to call various BPOs and call centres for recruitment. Take handsome amount of fine for each and everything. Waste college. I have spoiled my 4 years studying in this college. The staff of this college does a lot of racial discrimination. Only join this college if you want to spoil your future.

Dr. MGR University is the best institution for students of Mechanical Engineering branch. This is a Private Institution. In this institution method of teaching is really good. Campus facilities are also good. Here teachers cooperate with students and motivate them for studies.

I am completing B.Tech from Mech. This is best engineering college from all branches. If u will think that whether take admission or not. It’s my suggest to you that you can....and one more think I would like to say when you will in 1st year don't think that whether after completed the degree we can get the job or not. If you have knowledge about your branch. You will be created not to be seeker.

Awesome college, well trained lecturers, the college infrastructures is good. State of the art, labs and facilities are also nice. And placements from TCS, Accenture, CTS, oracle, IBM, BGR, L&T and other top fortune 500 companies. College has a massive hostel and canteen. The first year is separate from the other blocks, so it’s a zero percent ragging zone.

My college is not good. There is even not 1% environment of learning. Do Anything but you can’t get placed unless you have 90%. The faculty is also not educated. They just come to class for time pass. But one thing, you can clear your papers very easily because faculty check papers by the length of answers not by the content.

The college looks good. But it is not large in size. We can easily improve communication skills. Labs, library, canteen, everything looks good. When we come to the hostel, it’s awesome. We can go out at any time and come into the hostel at any time. Hostel is good and nice but it is a bit problematic to adjust to the mess food.

Please for god's sake don't come to this college. Rest, if you are intelligent then u can yourself derive what I meant from the first sentence. Faculty is worst. Students are crap. Finding intelligent and good students over here is like searching a lost needle in a stockpile of bushes. Examination system is so much bad over here. If u just want a degree then u can come over here otherwise if u want to learn and do something in your life then run the hell away from here.

Good college, faculty members are good and infrastructure and facilities are average. But the college should really work on the placements. There are only few company that visit for recruitment in this college. Even organization like TCS and Wipro don't visit for placement. In 2013, IGATE recruited almost 10-15 students, ODC had also organized placement drive but no student were selected. Other company that had visited were KPO and BPO.

College where I got to know how to handle pressure of your life how to improve your technical skills. My College is best in Chennai with most experience faculty in Computer Science especially. College is about to start at 10 in the morning and I always use to buck the college. The college use to take heavy fee and not provide any support while placement time.

Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute is one of the greatest professional college/university in India. The entire faculty from this university is well knowledgeable and friendly. Basically from EEE branch the most respectful faculty is HOD. I salute him for his helping nature and careful nature.

The faculty members of MGR is pathetic, the lack the knowledge in their own subjects. Some time you will find same teacher for two subject. Campus is not as good as it looks on the website of MGR and placement is worst. This is not a college for someone who he expecting him/her to get placed some. During my time there weren't any placement in MGR. College library is really good. You will find everything you need.

The fees for the course is very high but the teaching is good in this college. There is excellent leadership in our college and department. I really miss our college and my friends. I have one complaint that not too many companies come for campus interview or placement in our college so they have poor placement.

Don't get admitted by any means, not a good college to pursue your B.tech. Job offers are mostly BPO, and marketing,(lol)...you can get any better college than this even if you close your eyes and search - Satyabhama, SRM, VIT are miles far in comparison to MGR University.

Pros: 1.University status, since it is a university you can expect good quality of faculty compare to tire 2&3 Anna university colleges. 2. Infrastructure is good and enough for UG degrees. 3. Syllabus and exam pattern is little easy to clear degree. 4. You will have an exposure to interact with multi-cultural students. Cons: 1 Poor placement record. 2. Few HODs are not interested in rising the standards of their dept.

Great Days of my life been through that time. One word to describe "Awesome". From admission to convocation it was a great feeling that I really missing now. Our vice chancellor, Registrar, Dean all of them was very helpful. First year was a bit restricted but later realized that it was necessary to give us the starting platform for next three years. So overall one never regret as a MGRian.

No placement. This is the major drawback of this college. The management is not serious enough and at times there are setbacks for students hoping to get placed. The college has good infrastructure, but lags behind the overall development and growth of the students. The management is to be blamed solely for not lifting the image of the college as a whole in the eye of corporate and companies.

This university provides very good lab facilities, though the university fee is little high. The faculty members are very friendly, help a lot during class and clear all the doubts. The canteen here is good and there is a pleasant environment with good infrastructure. But the campus placement depends on the department and the fee differs with departments as well. However, the symposiums organised here are excellent.

This is one of the average college for B.Tech course. Marking system is good. Campus placement is very less. Students are involved in admission commission process. Environment is very bad. Politician runs this Institute so only they look profit. Exams are not too tight. It was blacklisted once a while by UGC. Extracurricular activity is good.
