Persian | At least 55% aggregate in MA in Persian or an equivalent qualification with the same percentage from a recognised university |
Commerce | A minimum of 55% aggregate in MCom/ MIB/ MHROD/ MFC/ MBA and other such degrees which are equivalent to the MBA degree of the University of Delhi and other Indian universities. However, the candidates with degrees other than MCom/ MIB/ MNROD/ MFC/ MBA are required to furnish an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities/ Delhi University or any other competent authority |
Mathematics | At least 55% aggregate in PG degree or an equivalent degree of a foreign university in the subject concerned or an allied subject to be approved by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of the Department and the Dean of the faculty concerned |

DU MPhil Application Process 2022
All the candidates seeking admission to the MPhil / PhD programme in DU are required to register online. Admission to MPhil / PhD programmes is through a written examination, followed by an interview.
Here is the application process:
Step 1: Register on the official website and click on 'New User Registration'.
Step 2: Under the 'Login details' section, applicants must fill all the required details.
Step 3: On successful submission of the required details, a confirmation link is generated and sent on the official email address.
Step 4: Click on the link to confirm your registration.
Step 5: Login with the new 'Username'(e-mail ID) and 'Password' provided on the email.
Step 6: Candidate must upload the following items:

- Scanned signature
- Identity Proof
- The uploaded files can be checked and, if required, can be replaced before submission. Click on 'Submit My Profile'.
