DU LLB Entrance Exam 2023: The University of Delhi (DU) is conducting CUET PG 2023 for admission to the three-year LLB course on any day between June 5 and 17, 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG 2023) admit card for June 13 and 14 exam dates. Candidates will be able to download their admit card for DU LLB through CUET PG 2023 from cuet.nta.nic.in only. DU has confirmed to accept CUET PG 2023 scores for filling up as many as 2,888 seats are offered at its three law centres. NTA announced exam dates for DU LLB through CUET PG 2023, and it will be held on multiple shifts from June 5 to 17, 2023. The entrance exam will be held in a Computer-Based Test mode, and the question paper will carry 100 Multiple Choices based Questions of 4 marks each. Candidates appearing for CUET PG 2023 for admission to the three-year LLB course at DU, will be able to download the admit card from the official website - cuet.nta.ac.in. What is DU LLB Entrance Exam?

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the DU LLB Entrance Exam for admission to three-year LLB courses offered at Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II of Delhi University. The exam is conducted at the national level at more than 18 test cities across India. Through the entrance exam, 3-year LLB seats will be filled at the three law centres of Delhi University. The intake capacity for the law program at DU Law Centres, currently stands at 2,888 seats + 432 Supernumerary seats. Candidates who have passed a graduation degree in any discipline are eligible for admission to the 3-year LLB program.

DU LLB 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the updated eligibility criteria for DU LLB through CUET PG 2023 as under: 

Academic qualification:

  • The candidate needs to have passed a graduation/post-graduation degree from the University of Delhi or any other recognised Indian/foreign university.
  • The minimum marks required to be eligible for DU LLB admissions 2023 are - 50% marks in aggregate for General/ OBC/ EWS Categories, and 45% marks in aggregate for PWD/SC/ST categories

Age limit: 

  • There is no age limit for admission to the three-year law program courses in India.

DU LLB Application Form 2023

Delhi University is accepting CUET PG 2023 for admission to LLB courses, therefore the online DU LLB 2023 application form is available at cuet.nta.nic.in. Interested candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB program needed to duly fill and submit the application form before the last date. When filling the form, only genuine and verifiable information must be used as all details will be checked and verified at the time of counselling. 

How to fill the DU LLB 2023 application form

  • Online registration - The candidate will have to get registered by using their email id and phone number
  • Filling of the application form - In this step, the candidate will have to enter personal, educational, and communication details.

Fill CUET 2023 Registration and Application Form

The first step is online registration on the official website of NTA CUET PG 2023 - cuet.nta.nic.in. The candidate has to create a login ID and password in order to apply online. Once the login ID and password is created, the candidate has to apply online on the official website of Delhi University. The candidate has to enter his/her personal and academic details, upload all the prescribed documents and pay the application fee. The DU LLB application fee 2023 is as under:

The provisional key will contain the correct answers for all the questions asked in the paper, and candidate can use it to calculate their probable scores. This probable score in turn will help the candidate assess their chances of admission. The candidate were able to challenge the provisional key on payment of INR 200 per objection till the last date. DU LLB Counselling 2023

Delhi University will conduct the counselling of DU LLB 2023 in online mode. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds. The counselling process for DU LLB 2023 is explained in brief below:

  1. Publication of admission lists - The admission lists will be released within a few days of the declaration of results and include the names of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process. 
  2. Application by candidates - Candidates who are included in the lists have to apply for admission within the given deadline 
  3. Department / Colleges to verify admission - The applications will be verified and names of selected candidates to be released.
  4. Payment of admission fee - Selected candidates need to pay the fee in online mode.

No, Class 12 candidates are not eligible for admission to the three-year LL.B. Course as per the legal education guidelines set by the Bar Council of India. Therefore, DU LL.B. DU LL.B. 2022 Eligibility: Qualification & Age Given below are the qualifications and age limits required for DU LL.B. 2022 Exam: General category candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation degree. For SC/ST category, they must score 40% marks in their qualifying degree. For OBC, PwD, and CW categories, a minimum score of 45% is required in the qualifying degree. For General and OBC, candidates must possess a graduate or post-graduate degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognised as equivalent by the University of Delhi. Candidates having a PG degree or appearing in the final year PG degree examination can also apply for the DU LL.B. 2021 entrance exam. There is no age bar to appear in the exam as per the order of the Supreme Court of India. DU LL.B. 2022 Eligibility: Category-wise Relaxation Given below are the category-wise relaxations for DU LL.B. Exam Eligibility Criteria Candidates must score at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in either of them. But, the cut-off marks for admission of OBC candidates shall be up to 10% less than the marks notified for general candidates in the Entrance Test. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
