DU LLB Result 2023: Download Scorecard, Merit List, Tie Breaker, Seats Intake

Candidates can check their results as well as, download scorecards as under:

• Step 2: On this page, you will find two links - 'Candidate login for viewing individual result' and 'Link for viewing result'
• Step 3: To view result through candidate login, you need to enter form number and date of birth
• Step 4: The other link redirect candidates to the page which hosts the merit list in PDF format
• Step 5: Check your result and download the PDF
• Candidates have to download and save the result pdf as their scorecard for future references

DU LLB entrance exam result PDF will contain the following information. 

Wherein two or more candidates secure the same marks in DU LLB entrance exam then the tie-breaking rule is applied to determine the rank. The process is done as per the below-mentioned criteria:

• The aspirant who has secured more marks in the qualifying exam has been ranked higher
• If the tie still remains then the aspirant who is older (in age) is ranked higher
• If the tie still remains then Delhi University LLB entrance exam tie is broken through a draw of lots

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release a consolidated merit list of DU LLB along with individual rank cards. The merit list will be prepared basis the marks obtained by candidates in the DU LLB exam. Those securing higher marks will get a higher rank and consequently have a better chance of admission.

The conslidated merit list of DU LLB will contain the names of all candidates who have qualified in the DU LLB entrance exam. It will carry information like the roll number, rank, and the category of candidates. Unlike the rank card, no login is required to download the merit lists.

The steps to download the DU LLB merit list 2023 is as described below:

1. Go to the Delhi University website - du.ac.in
2. Click on the admission link
3. There you will see the Merit List link; click on it
4. The merit list will be displayed in downloadable PDF format
5. Download and take a printout   

Candidates as per their rank in the merit list will be called for DU LLB counselling. Shortlisted candidates. The following documents will be needed for counselling: 

• DU LLB 2023 Admit Card
• Age Certificate (High School/Matriculation)
• Character Certificate
• Degree Certificate
• Marksheets of the qualifying degree examination
• Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD/CW certificate (if applicable)
• OBC non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)
• Eight passport size photographs

Candidates who qualify in the DU LLB entrance exam will be considered for admission to participating institutes of Delhi University. Allotment of seats to DU LLB participating institutes will on the basis of the merit rank secured by candidate in the DU LLB 2023 entrance exam. The candidate will have the option to select their choice of colleges at the time of counselling. The institute-wise seat intake can be checked from the table below.

Admission to the three-year LLB programme at Delhi University will be open to candidates only if they manage to secure the cutoff rank (or marks). The DU LLB cutoff 2023 is the minimum marks (or rank) one needs to secure in his or her category to be eligible for admission. Those failing to secure the cutoff criteria will not be considered for admission.

The admission committee will prepare the cutoff of DU LLB 2023 considering a number of factors, including:

• The seat intake for the programme
• Number of applications recieved for admission
• The category under which admission is sought.
• The DU LLB 2023 merit rank of applicants
