Yes, Gauhati University offers a two-year MBA programme across four specialisations, namely Marketing, Finance, HR, Production. Spread over four semesters, admissions to MBA at GU starts in the month of March and the final shortlist is released in the months of May-June. The course is inclusive of a 60-day internship/ in-plant training for them to learn the basics of solving real life problems in business/ industrial organisations. Yes, Gauhati University offers a two-year LLM programme in the field of Law. Offered via six affiliated colleges under Gauhati University, admission to LLM is subject to a university-level entrance exam. On the basis of the scores obtained in the GU-conducted LLM entrance exam, a merit list is prepared with the names of the selected candidates. A list of the Gauhati University affiliated colleges which offer LLM programme include BRM Government Law College, Dhubri Law College, Dispur Law College, JB Law College, NEF Law College and Tezpur Law College.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. For admission to the B.Ed programme, the university conducts the various exam. To become eligible for the B.Ed programme, candidate must have passed a degree in graduation in the relevant stream ( BA /BSc /BCom or MA /MSc /MCom or equivalent) from a recognised institute.
