Mostly MBA students get placed through university, but about electrical, civil and mechanical engineering there is not any effort shown by the university for placement.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Infrastructure and placements of this university are very good.
Placements: Around 75% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Microsoft company is referred to as the highest placements at this university. Around 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are clean and it provide us with clean and pure water also. Bathroom is clean. Library is so big and various types of books are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Course curriculum of this university is very nice. Exams at this university are very nice so there is no problem during exams.
Other: According to previous year's data, placement is very good therefore, we chose this university. Games and cultural programs are conducted. Various types of programs like dancing and other activities are also held.

I'm mildly satisfied with the college, as I was expecting a little more in terms of placements.
Placements: About 70-75 percent students got placed, and most of the students were from the School of Engineering. The highest package was around 12 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA, and the average package floats around 3.5-4 LPA. The major recruiting companies are TCS, IndiaMART, HCL, etc. Internship opportunities are also not that great, like a few got some great internship offers.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and well-maintained. The library is very huge and contains a lot of books, which can be issued as per needs. The hostel rooms are great and well-furnished. The best part about the hostel is that we get single-seated rooms at very affordable prices. The mess is also great and offers great food quality and taste. Sports facilities are very good here.
Faculty: The faculty here is well-qualified, and most of them are Ph.D. holders from renowned IITs and have great teaching experience. They help the students in their field of teaching. The curriculum is moderately relevant, as some of the subjects being taught to us aren't that much useful. The semester exams are of moderate easy level, and you could pass them if you start preparing a week before exams. The pass percentage is around 85 percent in the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course as I had a long-standing interest in computer science and wanted to be a software developer since childhood. I wish they could improve the management here, as they lack in terms of management. The campus is huge and is deteriorating because of a lack of proper care.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2025

Management is poor, but infrastructure is pretty good.
Placements: My course placement is really poor, and their main priority is science students. As for internships, students have to search for them on there own. There are several companies that approached the university, mostly IT companies, but there are platforms like StudyLance too.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good; it's state government University. It covers 511 acres, has it's own library, hostels (both boys and girls), indoor stadium, shopping complex, faculty and 8 different schools for different courses, etc. The campus is quite peaceful and calm.
Faculty: Permanent or senior faculty for my course are really helpful, very professional, and polite. The only problem with guest faculty is that they change every semester or even in between, and not all of them teach well. Every semester, they conduct 2 exams.
Other: I wanted to explore more about the English language and I have indeed explored it a lot more, and my vision for that subject is different now. The crowd is basically local. I wish my campus could impoverish it's management.

My Thoughts Over Gautam Buddha University.
Placements: The placements in this university are not very good. There are mass recruiters who come for placement drives. The highest package was 51 LPA at Microsoft, which was off-campus, and the average package is about 6 LPA. Almost 40% of students get placed on campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is quite awesome and offers all types of different courses. It has the biggest library in Asia, known as Dr. BR Ambedkar Library, and has a good hostel facility with single-seater rooms for each student. The quality of food in the mess is also fantastic.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified in the university, but the lectures are taken by guest faculty who are not as experienced as professors. The curriculum is also not very good because it is not up-to-date with the industry requirements. Exams are very easy.

M.A. in Political Science and International Relations - Batch of 2025

Gautam Buddha University: Not so public.
Placements: No help in placement at all. Although in other courses, the university has a placement cell that works quite well. I have no specific idea of anyone getting placed in my own course, which is a Master's in Political Science and International Relations.
Infrastructure: The food quality of the mess is average. Rooms are big enough for single occupancy with a bookshelf, almirah, bed, tubelight, and one LED bulb. LAN cables are provided for the internet. Washrooms are maintained quite frequently. Overall, the infrastructure of the university and hostel is quite commendable. Classes have centralized air conditioning and smart boards.
Faculty: The faculty are quite good. The course I'm pursuing is relevant in today's era, where youth are taking an interest in politics and policies. Each semester, there are 4 exams: 2 midterms and 2 end-semester exams, respectively. Exams are not too difficult if you make notes and attend classes daily.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Hons.) - Batch of 2023
2.8
1Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
GBU: Yes or No for B.Com. (hons)
Placements: The placements are not that good because commerce students are generally asked to be seated in BBA's placement drives. Companies small or big, it's the student's talent and skills that give him/her the job, but there were no such opportunities to enhance such skills, for example, good internships, regular field trips, or interactive activities held in the university to learn and understand the practical application of the theoretical learning done in the lectures.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities at the university, from the library to computer labs. But they were not used to their best potential, and the students were not much interested in learning and utilising the resources provided to them. The hostel life was not good for the students either; there was less hygiene and no good food available. The campus is HUGE, but the mobility of students is through walking only, or if they have personal vehicles available.
Faculty: The curriculum and the exams for the course were good. The teachers and professors were knowledgeable and keen on sharing there knowledge. Some of the teachers followed the old and traditional learning methods, which made the curriculum boring, but some of the teachers made their course a cake walk by giving us case studies and representing theory and practice simultaneously.
