The infrastructure is good, but the facilities are not well. So they need to be improved.

Placements: A maximum number of students join this course compared to other courses. The lowest salary of Rs. 50,00 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 12,000 per month are offered for mechanical students if they qualify placements and join those jobs. Some of the recruiting companies for our college are Ashok Leyland, Coal India Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and L&T. Job roles offered here are not that much what we expect, so trying to qualify for campus jobs is not valuable here. The salary ...

Review of Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements are not that much good, and the college provides 50% of placements. They should invite many companies for better placement ratios. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.30 LPA. Top companies like Indian Oil Tanker, JK Paper Ltd, TCS visited the campus. It is not a very good college. But if one wants to learn, then they can learn.

Placements: Placements for our batch were very low. Many of our batchmates did not get placed. Very few companies visited our college that year for placements. Even fake companies were invited to the college and students got placed, but they did not get any joining letter.

The college provides really good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. Most of the students get placed in CMM level 5 companies. Placement cell starts preparing students for upcoming job drives in their 5th semesters itself so that students can be capable enough to face any challenge which may occur during their assessment.

The institute provides good infrastructure and faculty. Discipline makes the institute unique.

Placements: The placement record of every branch is good. Core companies visit the campus for placements. Many students are offered the annual salary package of 2.4-2.6 LPA. In the academic year 2019, almost 180 students out of 204 got placements. Even there is a T&P cell for the guidance of students during placements.

If you want to study, join GIET. But if you want to get placed, choose some other college.

Placements: I am from 2016 batch. Almost all the students have been placed from our batch. Some were placed in well-known MNCs like TCS, Techmahindra, and the rest of the students were placed in some local companies. The college does not investigate the background of companies before bringing them to the campus drive. My close friends were placed in MNCs, but unfortunately, I got placed in a company named Breakdown Service Ltd, which is located in Vadodara, Gujarat. We found that this company is a fraud com...

It is a good college for education as well as placements.

Placements: The placement record of our college is quite good. The average salary package offered is up to 3.5 LPA, and it may exceed depending on the performance of students in the interview and their academic records. However, the college is providing placements, and its placement rate is almost 90% every year.

The college has a good infrastructure, but there is less management.

Placements: A good mixture of IT companies and core industries visited the campus for placements. The college has one of the best placement services for engineering and management students in Odisha. The salary packages range from 2.50 LPA to 3.50 LPA. At least 94% of the crowd in my batch got placed in companies that visited the college for placements, and the companies were TCS, Hexaware Technologies Limited, Cognizant Technology and Solutions, Infac India Pvt Ltd, and Trigent Software.

Dissatisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: Placements offered in the college were very bad, and it was equal to the worst. The lowest salary offered was of Rs. 5,000 per month. Companies which visit the campus for placements were not at all good, and there were some fake placements also. I got placed in a company which offered the salary package around Rs. 8,000 per month, but my college wants me to pay Rs. 8,000 for getting my certificates.

The college is situated in Gunupur, Odisha. It is perfect for a student who wants to read.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark as shown in their charts. They assured us that 3 to 4 companies are in a tie with them, and they will be sending 2 to 3 students in each of the company, but by the end of my session or 8th semester, only one core company visited for recruitment that too with low salary margin.

The review of Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology.

Placements: It has a good placement cell. It provides a good placement, but MNCs are very few. The companies are startups. TCS, Tech Mahindra and MindTree are only a few big companies that visit for CSE, ECE and rest are small startups. I would rate 7/10 for the placements, but the college provides good knowledge of how to attend placements.
