Not so much satisfied with the behavior of the faculty and the bad condition of the hostel rooms.
Placements: At Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, actually, most of the placements we got are in the IT sector or marketing, so there is no core placement for Electrical students. After that, the highest package ever got is 10 LPA, and the average is 5 to 6 LPA. Normally, 15 to 20 percent of students get placed.
Infrastructure: The labs are just okay, not so much nice. Classrooms are just old rooms. Wi-Fi is not working at all. The library is nice with a lot of books. The infrastructure of the library is good, but the university doesn’t have enough space for the labs and proper classrooms. The hostel is also not good; there are not sufficient rooms for the students, and the food is also very bad.
Faculty: The exams are so moderate, not so worthy. The faculty is, some of them, very nice, and some are just doing nothing, not even taking the classes. They are just here for their salary. The behavior of some teachers is also not good towards their students; they just abuse them.
Other: There are some nice students from the passed-out batch who started their own business.

GJUST might be for you.
Placements: About 40% of students got placed in our university. Last year, the average salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was around 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Paytm, Blinkit, Amazon, Wipro, and Zomato. A few students got internships through the university. Only a few roles are offered like software engineer and software developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the new building. The old buildings have been under maintenance for a long time and nothing much happened. There is Wi-Fi in all buildings and blocks. It sometimes gives really fast speed and sometimes not much. The library is beautiful and has a good architecture. Sports and games are available like a cricket ground, badminton, shooting, boxing, and others.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and qualified. A lot of them are Ph.D. holders and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is the same as any government engineering college. It needs changes. It also needs more subject knowledge of current times. Semester examinations are quite easy. The pass percentage is around 60-70%.
Other: I chose this course because it is the most return on investment giving course. I would ask the university to fire all its non-teaching staff and get new instead. Events and fests keep happening here but the crowd quality and connectivity need to be improved.

The placement scenario at the college is disappointing.
Placements: The college placement process has been disappointing. Students feel that the support and opportunities provided are inadequate. There seems to be a lack of effective connections with the industry and sufficient preparation for job interviews. Overall, the experience has not met our expectations.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is commendable, with well-maintained facilities and resources. However, the hostel accommodation is a significant issue, as not all students are allotted a place. This situation creates challenges for those who rely on campus housing.
Faculty: Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.
Other: No fests, no sports meet. Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.

GJU is a hub of quality education, modern infrastructure, and promising opportunities.
Placements: In GJU University, 90% of students are placed in my course. In our university, the highest package is 12 Lacs, the lowest package is 3 Lacs, and the average package is 5-6 Lacs. In our university, Paytm, Honda, Swiggy, and Zomato are some of the companies recruiting. 50-60% of students got internships from the Computer Science branch. Best placement and good teaching staff.
Infrastructure: The university comprises seven teaching blocks equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, and seminar halls to facilitate effective learning. The Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Library is a three-story building with a seating capacity of 400. It operates in two shifts and remains open on weekends. GJUST provides 8 hostels—4 for boys and 4 for girls—with a total capacity to house approximately 2,000 students. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TV rooms, gyms, and cyber labs. The hostels are under 24-hour security surveillance with CCTV cameras.
Faculty: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology includes Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics. Also, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science and the Haryana School of Business. The university offers a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Each program's curriculum is meticulously designed to provide both theoretical and practical skills. GJUST conducts examinations as per the academic calendar, with schedules and notifications provided through the university examination portals.
Other: I have always been fascinated by how technology powers the modern world. From software applications to AI, I wanted to learn how these systems work and contribute to their development. The best thing about my course is its focus on programming languages, data structures, DBMS, and AI. The career path is good—software development, cybersecurity, IT consulting.

GJUST HISAR'S Printing deptt.
Infrastructure: The hostels are below average at best, the Wi-Fi is good there but it keeps getting disconnected after an interval of 30 minutes so that students cannot download big files from it. The speed is about 40 Mbps and gaming and adult sites are obviously banned here.
Faculty: The faculty here are a bit of a mixed bag. About 30% of the faculty of this department are contractual employees and 30% are Haryana Government Kaushal Rozgar sorted as HKRN, which are given temporary jobs here just on the basis of their marks and degrees with no examination or interviews. The remaining 40% are actual regular government employees. The overall behavior of these is nearly the same whether they are contractual or permanent employees. Fun fact: about 50% of the faculty are passed out of the department itself.
Other: The reason I chose this course was because of the easiness of the curriculum and the growth prospects. The placements are a big go for anyone here and so is the fee and overall experience here.

Placements: The requirement percentage for students must be above 50 percent. Mine percentage was 84%, and I easily got admission in this college from SC candidates, but for general category there is a struggle for admission No party or any special celebration is there; that is bad.
Infrastructure: Canteen is super perfect; food is so good. Highly recommended. No Wi-Fi for students. None of the special facilities; the library is so bad; nothing new; nothing good. Labs are dirty—not really clean. Medical facilities are very poor. Little sports celebrations are there.
Faculty: Teachers are so good. Some are very connected to students easily and are very knowledgeable. Good at communicating with other students. Exams are not that difficult, nor are assignments. Different passing percentages are required.
Other: I like this college from the start.

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Teaching Quality: Most teachers were helpful, but 23 out of 50 were rude. Teaching quality was okay, and the course curriculum was up-to-date. However, semester exams were average, and online studies during COVID-19 were challenging.

Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of GJUST?

A:
{Source: M.Tech students & alumni]

GJUST Campus Life provides an inclusive environment for girl students, allowing them to dress freely and participate in various sports activities. The mess food is of good quality and hygiene standards, and attendance policies are strictly enforced. There are no language restrictions, and student support services are readily available. Academically, the schedule is relatively busy with frequent exams and easy exam preparation using textbooks. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders cannot enter the campus without permission. College policies prohibit ragging and require authorization for leaving hostel premises. All modes of transportation are available from the campus.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of GJUST's M.Tech programme in Printing Technology is satisfactory. Here's a breakdown of the reviewers' comments:

Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of Directorate of Distance Education?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni]

The Directorate of Distance Education has a busy academic life with over 15 lectures per week, and exams and tests are held monthly. The teaching methodology mainly consists of lectures based on the textbook, and there is a well-stocked library for research and reading resources. Sports facilities and additional expenses such as books are available, but attendance policies are strict. The college culture is diverse and inclusive, with no language challenges, and support staff is available to assist students. However, there are restrictions on outsider entry and students must seek permission to leave the hostel premises. Overall, the college provides a safe and accessible environment for students.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college is mixed. Some reviewers found the infrastructure to be good, with well-maintained facilities and modern technology. However, others had negative comments about the quality of the mess food and the condition of the hostels.

One reviewer mentioned that the college has a computer lab and a research lab for project work and presentations, but the infrastructure is only average. Another reviewer praised the great infrastructure of the college, including the auditorium, playgrounds and library. A third reviewer mentioned that the college has various sports facilities and a clean hostel with spacious rooms.

However, some reviewers had negative experiences with the hostel facilities, such as overcrowding and poor maintenance. Additionally, one reviewer noted that the mess food is disgusting due to private contracts.

In summary, the overall infrastructure of the college appears to be a mix of positive and negative aspects. While some facilities, such as the auditorium and playgrounds, are well-maintained and modern, other aspects, such as the hostels and mess food, may require improvement.
