College with best placements.

Placements: About 80% of students get placement from this course. The companies that visit campus are ONGC, GMDC, Tata Steel, JSW, etc. The highest package is 7 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum. Average package is 4.5 Lacs per annum. 70% of students got internships from oncampus. Top roles offered in our courses are Manager, HOD, etc.

Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure available. The classrooms are very advanced. There is a separate lab for the geology department. Wi-Fi is available in every department. The college has its own canteen where very good-quality food is available at a low cost. Various outdoor games like cricket, football, and badminton are played on the college grounds.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good; they are all very helpful. The teachers are qualified, they are all knowledgeable and their teaching quality is very good. The teachers teach so well that semester exams seem very easy. This course is absolutely curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester pass percentage is 40% per subject.

The college has a record of 90% placements.

Placements: The students who come in the last year of their degree are eligible for the placement. The company that visit campus are ONGC, GMDC, tata steel, JSW, etc. The highest package given to the students is up to 10 lakhs per year. 40% of class students get placement within the first trial. My plan after the degree is the same I want a placement at Shell, ONGC, GMDC, Tata Steel, etc.

Infrastructure: The college is very good and provides many more opportunities and jobs to all the students. All the students get chances, food is also good in the college and overall living is also good. External Expenses: Rs. 2000–Rs. 4000

Faculty: I am interested in earth science, so I chose this subject. Faculty members are very good and the student ratio is also minimal. Interaction with the teachers is very easy. You can easily clear your doubts there. The semester exam is held every 6 months, and the exam quality is moderate. If you study well, you can easily pass the exam. Class size;-66 The course costs INR 19000 per year.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in my courses. The highest salary is 2 LPA, the average salary is 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 1 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, HDFC, etc. 10% of students were placed in my course and in those companies. Our college placements need to improve.

Infrastructure: College has Wi-Fi facilities, labs, well-structured classrooms, a library, medical support, sports and games, a hostel, a mess, and a canteen. The canteen has normal food quality, not too good. The hostel has good quality for students. The college has CCTV cameras for students' safety.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is moderate. This course is curriculum-relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult. The pass percentage is 70.

Other: I followed my passion; that's why I chose this course.

All the teachers are specialists in their subjects.

Placements: Every year, the university conducts a job fair for all faculty students and it is a wide opportunity for students. A lot of companies participate in job fairs, so many students win job placements with good salaries. Annamalai University interns final-year students in different industries and scientific research labs. After completing my PG in Annamalai, I feel proud and well qualified. At Annamalai University, Rajiv Gandhi fellowships, post-matric fellowships, etc. will be given.

Infrastructure: Yes, the rooms are very good, as they are owned by Oyo Rooms. They gave proper service and all together, there is no issue with late entrance permission. One can go out any time at night and come back. Hostel Fee : INR 189000 per year External Expenses: more than INR 15000

Faculty: The course curriculum is now very nice after the implementation of the new education policy in the year 2020. After this implementation, some new papers were added, like remote sensing, petrology, mineralogy, and many more. Now in the curriculum, they add a summer internship in the 3rd semester and a dissertation in the 4th semester. Class size;-60 The course costs INR 17000 per year.

One of the best colleges in Goa.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities for geologists were minimal. In our batch, most of my friends got campus placements from reputed mining companies and GIS companies. A few students opted for government jobs after completing their studies. Campus placements were fine.

Infrastructure: The rooms were very good as they were owned by Oyo. They provided proper services. There is no issue with check-in permission. One could go out at any time at night. Girls were not allowed in boys' rooms. The hostel fee was Rs. 189000 per year.

Faculty: The curriculum was well-designed to teach the subjects in detail. However, only theoretical knowledge does not help these days. Students should be equally equipped with modern techniques, state-of-the-art technologies, etc., to be in line with the standards of the industry.
