Placements: The placements were good. Most IT companies visit the campus and offer package of around 4 Lacs per annum. The number of companies in electronics area were less. One of the companies visiting the campus is sankalp semiconductors. They offered core electronics job role. There are no internship opportunities at campus.
Placements: The placements were not up to the mark. Just local companies are searching to hire freshers for an underpaid job. A few banks came for recruitments, but no one seemed interested. Many students participated and even got through, but nothing was great, because the highest package offered was just 1.8 LPA.
Placements: They are associated with the Vellore branch, so that gives a wide scope regarding campus placement. Many of the big companies show interest in this college. The placement from Vellore branch also transferred here to Goa branch which makes it more efficient and gives the higher amount of opportunities to the students.
Placements: There are no placements here for BCA. During the induction programme, they promise that many companies will come for placements, but in 2017, none of the companies came. So, most of the students after passing out, either opt for Masters, search for jobs in banks or the hospitality sector or else, go abroad.
Placements: All the local companies used to come to the campus, where an average of 40% students used to get placed. The average salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. The placements are offered as per the course, taken by the students. All the students should compulsorily attend the internship programme.
Placements: The architecture is a construction and designing field, where one is trained more for designing spaces. They hired for one's skills on bases how fast one in using software and construction-related software. Since its a government college, they aren't offering campus placement, but one can always go out and seek for a job with better companies. The salary offered for the freshers is around 15 thousand in Goa.
Placements: Limited companies visited our college to offer the placements. Not a good college for the brilliant student. The student who is average in studies can join the college. The highest package offered was around 3.0 lacs per annum. The level of college was decreased after the death of Principle Mr.Somayaji. He had raised the level of college for some period.
Placements: It all depends on the individual. If you all have an aggregate of 60%. You will get a chance to attend interviews in MNCs. Rest of them will get placed slowly within 4 months, and it depends on the individual. Don't expect companies like Google, Microsoft. The average pay in MNC starts at Rs. 3,00,000/year and rest depends on luck. The lowest being you might get placed in a company who will only pay only if you work on the live projects.
Placements: The placements were good in 2015 but in 2016, the IT industry has been facing a lot of issues and only 6 are placed yet from our college by sem7 (one more semester to go). The highest package offered was by IVP, 8 LPA. That too, they placed only 1 student. Other companies that visit are PSL,TCS. I am placed with TCS at 3.36 LPA. Your percentage needs to be more than 60-65% to be eligible for placements. Regarding internships, Goa University's semester patterns are not suitable enough for an in...
The college is located in close proximity of Verna industrial estate. The infrastructure is pretty decent with library, football, auditorium, air conditioned classes, and canteen. No hostels available, but you can stay as a paying guest in nearby areas. There are separate departments with each having labs with state of the art instruments. The electronics department has one of the best faculty with more than 4 years of industrial experience. Placements are decent with minimum package of 2.5 lak...
College with no infrastructure for the students specifically when it comes to extra-curricular activities. It charges students for gym food fees but there isn't any gym food. No campus placements. Has an average performing faculty. Very expensive in terms of semester fees when we compare it to the service it provides.
College is situated on the mountain peak of Shiroda. You have to struggle a bit if you miss the normal Kadamba buses or private buses which comes to the college. During my time there were few silly rules like ban on using a camera phone in the college, not allowed to wear a printed T-shirt (even a T-shirt with reebok as the name was not allowed). Pros: pleasant environment, good class rooms. Some good faculty members are there, who are always ready to help anytime. Cons: No hostel facility (PG o...
Good college altogether, though a lot of changes required which will make it even better. Firstly, the campus is amazing with lot of greenery, and there is a lot of things you can do here in your free time. The things that need to be changed are the staff members, need more qualified professors who will give more time to students and carry on with more activities to keep student engaged.
Placements: The college doesn't provide good placement assistance. Most of the placement are off campus as a result very few student get placed. Talking about internship students have to search for internship on their own. So the college is not good in terms of placement. The packages offered are generally between 2.5-3.5 Lacs.
Placements: For civil field the placements are almost nil. Only 1-2 students get placed. Internships are offered by all companies you approach to. I have no experience of placements as I ll be passing next year but my senior told me that only one company had come but took 0 students, that's the case of campus placements in gec. So 0% of students were recruited.
Placements: The placement rate needs to be very good. Our college conduct seminars every time at the end of the year. You'll find many companies like IBM, SAP and many more. The best thing about our college is it teaches curriculum skills for us. It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Only 2 placements were brought for us atleast our senior batch got 5 placements. As we were only brought companies providing apprenticeship for one year which dissatisfied students. Also tpo was not interested in helping students to get placed students had to put their own efforts to find jobs for themselves.
Placements: There are good placements for all the courses. The companies frequently visited the college and a lot of interviews happen for the placement. There is a good number of students getting placed with good salary packages.
