Placements: I was a student of B.Sc. I passed out in 2018. Not many companies came for B.Sc. Approximately 10% of students were placed in B.Sc. The highest, lowest and average packages offered in my course were 2.7 LPA, 1.8 LPA, and 2 LPA, respectively. The top recruiting companies were chemical companies and very few IT companies. No companies offered internships for B.Sc. Therefore, none of the students got an internship. Lab assistant, programmer and coding were the top roles offered in my course.
Placements: Many companies do come for campus placements. Most of the students in computer science and information technology got placed. Around 35-40% of students get placed on campus with packages offered as high as 12 LPA to the lowest of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and TCS. Local companies like Spark+ also come here. Almost every student does an internship in companies like Spark+, EdGate, GSL etc.
Placements: Many well-rated companies visit here for placements. Placements are conducted for many days. Many students get selected from Padre Conceicao College as students here are very talented. Placement faculty members are also very helpful in all possible ways.
Placements: There are no placements provided in our college. After 4 years of studies, everyone has to serve a paid internship followed by a bond year, after which if we can answer NEET PG to get the PG seats. There are 9 departments and has 2-3 PG seats each. It is difficult to get a PG seat.
Placements: Our college has the highest placement rate compared to all the engineering colleges in Goa. Companies range from Infosys, Mahindra and many other start-ups come here. Various seminars are conducted on placement training and about pursuing further studies in India as well as abroad.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any campus placements. However, it helps you to build networks and references for internships and jobs. So, you can get placed on your own in a good company.
Placements: Our college is a great platform to learn, study and explore. TCS visited our college and recruited students with their ability and criteria. Students who score about 60% and above in academics were eligible for the placements.
Placements: The college should provide more placements for life science students. There must be conferences held in science stream. Mainly students were focused on the teaching profession as we didn't get any recruitments from industries. The college provides add-on courses options along with science course.
Placements: About 62 students were there in our course. When I was in the first year, the salary offered to the recruited students was of Rs. 33,000 per month, but it is decreased to Rs. 28,000 per month in my next two years of the course. Many companies came for campus selection, but I've never attended. I don't know about the internship that my classmates had joined. The college has provided financial support from the government as we can go for many industrial visits. Many companies would come for the in...
Placements: The college provides good placement drive. Many good companies visit our college for placements. Till now, Infosys, PSL and TCS visited our campus for placement. Their cutoff was 60% and above. About 40% of students got placed in technical companies while 30% in non-technical companies and the rest are still in wait for more companies to come.
Placements: No placements, that will happen during the final year. But a lot of companies and hotels like digisol, Hyatt, Reliance come to our college for campus interviews and a lot of students get recruitment through that. My batch consists of 50 students as of this year.
Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed The highest salary was around 50000 per month the lowest was 20000 ans average was 25000 per month Infosys, wipro, TCS were the top recruiting companies. The highest role was if web developer. The highest salary package was of 6 Lacs per annum, the lowest of 2.5 Lacs and average 3 Lacs package Around 40% of the students had GOT internship.
Placements: I am from IT batch 2017. Very few top recruitment companies had visited for college placements which includes like Infosys, Persistent, IVP. Most of the job offers were for a software developer post. Rest all the companies were based in Goa. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 25,000-30,000 per month.
Placements: In our department, around 50% of our seniors got placed during the placements held in the previous year. The highest average salary offered was around Rs.1 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered was around Rs.10,000 per month. One of the top recruiting companies to our college was Wipro.
Placements: Passing out year of our batch was 2014. We had almost 60 to 70 students in our batch doing Mechanical engineering. Around 15% of those got placed via campus interview while others tried getting job from outside and some started their own business. Some of the companies who came for placements were TCS, Persistent and Tech Mahindra. The package offered ranged from 3 to 4 Lacs/annum.
Placements: The placements in our college weren't that great. Not many internship programs were conducted by the college. There were very fewer hopes for getting ourselves placed. Being a B.Com student, we were not that sure of getting placed at any reputed company.
Placements: Placements for our batch were average. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Students were offered the role of assistant professor in our college. I don't know the percentage of students who did an internship as it was not mandatory at my time.
Placements: There were no placements for our batch. The college should really try to provide placements as there are two colleges in Goa and most of the pharma companies located are in Goa only. But a lot of Goans pharma graduates struggle to get jobs in Goa. Overall, our college should really try to improve placements.
Placements: There are no placements in our college as it is a government college. There are no internships for graduate students. However, internships, as well as placements, are provided for post-graduate students, and almost 100% of students got placed.
