Placements: Placements in our college are good, but not that good as compared to outside Goa. There is a placement cell, and students are trained and groomed well to face interviews. The salary package that students get after their campus placements is not up to expectations. But it is okay for a college in Goa.
Placements: During my tenure in college, only 5 out of 100 students were placed. Placements were offered in Infosys, Bangalore. There were no college placements as such. Students searched their job on their own. Even though the placement is the issue here, the college forces you to apply for the companies in which you can get easily placed. However, the college conducts expert talks to help us to have exposure to the business world which makes us mentally prepared before stepping into the corporate world.
Placements: Placements in GEC are decent. Companies like Bosch and others have frequently visited the campus for placements. Talking out the criteria for placements, students need to have an academic score of more than 60% in all semesters without any backlogs. The salary packages offered are decent enough. Internship opportunities are offered in those same companies, which also helps students to get placed in final placements.
Placements: Placements in our college were decent enough. Since students opted to pursue higher studies, placements were comparatively lesser than other colleges around. The college offers courses in Tally and UPSC preparation. They also guide you on how to attend the interviews and how to make a resume, etc. Overall, choose this college if you are sure of pursuing higher studies.
Placements: Approximately 57% of the students got placements in companies like Club Mahindra, Indigo, and Air Asia etc. The starting salary was Rs. 15,000 per month, and the students were offered roles like a receptionist, ground force, and cabin crew etc. I don't know about the percentage of students who got their internships.
Placements: Placements of the college are below average. The college failed to place even 50% of students from our batch. Placement figures are inflated. Most of the companies that visited the campus were IT related and the job profiles offered weren't that great. Students were reluctant to go out of station as even the salary packages offered were low.
Placements: Various companies like Tata, Seimens, Bosch, Amazon, etc., visit our campus to offer placements. Most of the mechanical students were not placed, but the students from IT and computers were placed in good companies, in 2016. I cannot recall anything about the salaries and roles offered to the students, but it was good. Almost everyone gets an internship as the college is located around 5 kilometres from the industrial location. Stipends were not offered. The college has a placement cell, but I t...
Placements: A lot of companies visited our college to offer placements. Around 40% of the students of our batch got placed through college placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month in the sales field. Companies like Imperial Wealth Services, Milestone and many others visited our college to recruit students. The college has a placement cell to look after the placement activities.
Placements: Sesa, Accenture, Cognizant, Nestle, Zoovari, Marine Elec, Buoyancy, Tech Mahindra, etc., companies visit the college. Placements were not much good compared to previous two years. But having said so, the placement office works hard to increase the placements. In recent years, a few more core companies related to mechanical have visited the campus to offer placements.
Placements: Around 35% of the students from my batch got placed on the campus. The placement percentage of our batch was almost similar to our senior batch. Roles from software engineers to maintenance engineers were offered to the students. The highest package offered was 7.95 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. Vedanta, Wipro, Infosys, Cida De Goa, Oriental Containers, Jaquar Lighting, IBM, Indus Valley Partners were some of the companies that offered placements in our college. None of the st...
Placements: Placements in the college for our batch was below average. Only students of ECE and CS/IT background get the majority of the jobs. The highest package offered by Microsoft was 12 LPA. The average package offered was around 3 LPA. Only students who had 60% aggregate marks got placed, and a majority of the remaining students didn't get campus placements. Regarding internships, college does not have enough time to provide the internships for students. There is two weeks time between semesters to do...
Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good for the students of electrical and electronics department. This year (2014-2018), around 4-5 companies visited the college to hire the students. Companies like Vedanta, Adage, and Visteon visited and offered the salary package of Rs. 30,000 per month. A minimum of 60% of students got placed in the college placements. Coca-Cola, Cipla, and Sanofi offered apprenticeship programme for students.
Placements: The placements in the college were okay for our batch. The placement percentage of our batch was less compared to our senior batch. Nearly, 10 companies visited the college for placements. Generally, on an average, reputed companies hire 1-2 students, and the smaller ones hire 4-5 students. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA, and the average offered was in between 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Generally, roles such as associate software engineers and associ...
Placements: Placements for our batch were really good. Our TPO did a great job in inviting some of the reputed companies for students. Our placement cell is always enthusiastic about getting companies to recruit students. The highest package offered to us was 6.7 LPA by IVP company. The average package was offered by the MNCs like Infosys, TCS and Wipro. Many more startups visited the college to offer placements.
Placements: When it comes to placements in my branch, only 5 to 6 students got placed in the campus placements. Mostly, IT sector companies visit the campus for placements, and some were of electronics background. Similar conditions were present during the last few years. However, our head of department and placement officers are trying their best to improve placement figures every year. The highest salary that was offered for my batch was around five lacs per annum, and the average was 2.5 LPA. Companies l...
Placements: Our previous batch had decent placements in good companies for submissions. Many big companies like HCl and Lenovo visited for the placements. A lot of students got recruited during the campus interviews and also received promising jobs.
Placements: I'm still in 2nd year so I haven't been placed yet. A very small number of students, about just 25% from the final year have been placed from my department. In departments like IT, etc. And COMP, the placement percentage is above 75%. The salary varies from about Rs15, 000 per month to the highest recorded at Rs50,000 per month. Companies visiting are: cognizant, Mahindra, infotech, vedanta, sea, Crompton, wipro, Siemens, Tata etc. Our colleges emphasizes on the need for internship so the perce...
Placements: The placements of some branches like etc., COMPUTER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, is good. In electrical the placements are very less. This college is having the best and most no of placements in Goa. 11 and 13 students were placed successfully in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Placements: Placement is average in the college. Out of 70 students only 12 students got placed. In previous batch 15 students got placed. The average salary offered is 3 Lacs per annum. The companies visited are Adani, Vedanta and Quest Global. There is special placement cell in our college.
Placements: While branches like electronics ad telecommunication, information technology and computer has good placements, core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical have a few companies coming. For our batch we had companies like Infosys, IBM, IVP etc. Who had came for etc./IT/computer students and JWS, GSIDC for others.
