Knowledge is power, which is defined by MS.

Placements: I am a student of 2014 batch. The college has a history of more than 50 years. Well-established companies are coming for the placements, where the students get their opportunity to showcase their talents and their capability of handling situation in the meetings. The college does provide more extracurricular activities for students.

There are no good placements. One of the best colleges in Goa. The college fee is very less.

Placements: The placements are not very great in this college. Hardly 20% were placed. The highest package offered was 5 LPA. Average package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest was 2.5. Very few companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, persistent systems came for the placements. There were no placements for branches other than IT, computer science and electronics.

Very good faculty and a lovely and friendly study environment.

Placements: No such placement opportunity is provided by the college as most of the students are from Goa itself and they don't prefer to move out of the state and also prefer to go for litigation. However, the principal of the college is very helpful, and on request of students, he may suggest applying in certain firm/company. As far as I am aware, only one Pune based company by the name of Mindcrest and one Goa-based company, i.e., Zuari Agro Limited are the only two companies that hire students from our ...

The placements and the faculty of the college are good.

Placements: At the time of my placement, there were a few companies that would come for recruitment. Comparatively, I have seen many more companies approaching, and it is a very positive thing. There are various activities and thing that is being done for the benefit of the students.

Absolutely no regrets in studying at this college, and the faculty was great.

Placements: The placements were going great in PCCE till 2016, but after that, there was a little downfall. There were only startups coming to college, but not many MNCs. Some MNCs came, but only for tech support roles. So, the placements have taken a hit in PCCE. Maybe, due to the new NIT/IIT in Goa, and also maybe, top companies prefer going there.

Good college but bad management.

Placements: Normally, around 4-5 companies come to the college for campus recruitment. Most of the 60% marks throughout criteria. Frequently visited companies are TCS, PERSISTENT and Amazon. From the whole college, only 20-25 students are placed, and the jobs of some companies aren't that good, but placements vary every year.

The best and affordable college.

Placements: We got the placements, but not good. All are on contractual basis. The salary less than 12k is offered and that too 30 km far from my location. There is a huge competition nowadays, even for security guards, they want a graduate to be in the airport. The jobs are not very appealing, experience required to get a job, but for the experience, first, we need a job.

MES is one of the best colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: The college has good placement cell, and many companies come to the college. But, what happens is not much of the students make use of this opportunity. It might be because the college fails to make the students understand the importance of placements. It is a very good campus with excellent faculty.

The college is meant for all type of students.

Placements: The placement offered in the college was quite good. Most of the students directly applied for M.com than going for the placements. However, the average package offered for B.Com was Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like TCS and many other startups visited the college. The startups were not known but had a good package provided by them which encouraged us to participate in the recruitment process.

Placements: Placements are given to many students as long as their percentage is maintained. Many companies like SESA and Vedanta come to give opportunities to students. Internships in different mining companies are given, mostly in Karnataka. The average salary offered is around 3 lakhs. Many students can get internships which are offered by the college.

Goa College of Engineering is okay

Placements: Placements are generally given by Infosys and TCS. Around 60 percent of people get placed every year. Internships aren't provided by the college. Students have to go on their own to different companies in order to get internships. The average salary given is around 2 lakhs. A new recent company IVP has given a package of 8 lakhs.

Placements: The overall placements are quite average. Now, with NIT and IIT in the same campus, it's getting tougher. The average CTC offered is Rs. 2.5 LPA and the maximum is around Rs. 7-8 LPA. The companies vary year to year with a few assured in the list of those who hire in bulk. One can expect to sit in the placements drive if with 6+ GPA.

Best engineering college in Goa.

Placements: Placement in this college just depends on your grades. To be eligible for placements, you need to get aggregate 60% and above. Obviously for good companies, you need a higher percentage. For CSE and EXTC, lots of companies visit our campus. So if you have 60%, you are easily placed in any company. But for other branches like mechanical, IT and civil, you really need to get better grades, at least more than 70%.

Placements: The placements are average in this college. A lot of good companies come like HDFC, IFB appliances to name a few, who hire students after following proper recruitment process. The students are not offered top positions as they have only the bachelor's degree and the average package is 3.5 LPA.
