Other: A good place to learn hands-on biotechnology. Great teachers and course structure. Not much good in placements. The location is excellent and beautiful, located at mid of Pantnagar. The campus can prepare for various competitive exams like GRE/CAT/Bank as the campus has CL/Time/Arete coaching. The fees is a little higher than other branches but truly speaking its worth spending. The college level societies and clubs will help you grow as a better individual. Nainital is close to the campus and can visit there on weekends. Rudrapur is the nearest town where you can go for movies.

Other: See the environment is good but some professors are good and some are really poor. Sometimes I wonder how they even got a job of an assistant professor. The internal system of marking makes them above the system. Students who try to make some question about any particular concept, all they do is save that one in their eyes and gives marks according to their impression and not on knowledge!!

GBPUAT a sentiment, and a life you'll never forget.
Placements: The placement Records I would say for undergraduate courses are below average to average but for post graduate and doctorate courses it is average to above average. The university has it's own department for Placement related matters called Directorate and Placement cell. Companies like mahindra, Tata and google are to recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with blackboard, whiteboards and smart boards. Using of presentation and Video lectures help students to visualize and get familiar with the course. Laboratories are different for each coarse and each college. There are a total of 8 colleges in the university. Most of the classrooms are air conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty consists of professors, assistant professors and associate professors. All of them are very helpful, talented and experienced. This university works not only on your theoretical knowledge but also industrial and practical knowledge with a large number of educational travel and research centres.

I am satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Students have not got placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Biocon, Bharat Biotech, etc., visit our college. All students got internships in DRDO, UBC, etc. We have to find internships on our own. We have to get industry exposure for better placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have a library, computers, high-speed internet, good sports, good hostels, etc. There are many hostels near our college. The food served in every hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. The teaching quality is good. The course focuses on agriculture. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 50%. Almost 85% of attendance is mandatory to write exams.
Other: We must pay an extra fee of Rs. 25,000 for a self-financed course. I chose this course because of my interest in it. Our teachers should conduct more lab classes. Events are the best in our college. Our college has good environment.

A:

Your score and rank in JEE Mains will determine the chances of you getting into the college. Also, only your rank in JEE Mains is going to decide the branch you will be alloted.
