XAT 2024 result was announced on January 20, 2024. The exam result was expected to be announced by January 31, 2024, but it was declared a week before. Candidates had to download their scorecards from the official website of XAT 2024 exam and XLRI Jamshedpur by using their login credentials. To check the result, check out the steps.

Step 3: As you click on the tab, a new window will open asking for candidates' details. The candidate had to enter their application number and password to log in.

Reservation of seats for admission to the various programmes of study shall be based on the Reservation Policy of the Goa State Government. Goa University BSc admission is entirely merit-based for the year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc at Goa University are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying examinations. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with the respective subjects from a recognised Board can apply for admission.

The fees for a three-year BA programme offered at Goa University ranges between INR 4,600 and INR 19,300 depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates. Apart from the tuition fees, candidates might also be required to pay the hostel fees and, one-time fees during the time of admission.

Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university and affiliated colleges. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Further, Goa University also has nine recognised institutes that offer research programmes leading to PhD degrees.

Goa University BSc seat reservation is based on the reservation policy of the Goa State Government. Given below is the Goa University BSc seat reservation policy:

• 1% of total seats shall be reserved for Children of Ex-servicemen
• 2% of seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for the SC category candidates of Goa State
• 5% of total seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for PwD candidates
• 10% of seats, subject to a maximum of two seats and a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for candidates of the other Indian Universities
• 10% of total seats shall be reserved for the EWS candidates of the Unreserved category
• 12% of seats, subject to a minimum of one seat, shall be reserved for the ST category candidates of Goa State
• 27% of total seats, subject to a minimum of two seats, shall be reserved for the OBC-NCL category candidates of Goa State
• 15% of seats, over and above the allotted number of seats, shall be reserved as supernumerary seats for overseas candidates
• Out of the 15% supernumerary seats, one seat will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants as per directives of the UGC

Candidates applying for admission under the reserved categories shall be required to submit a valid Certificate to that effect issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa.

Yes, for admission to MA (except Wellness and Counselling) at Goa University, students need to qualify Goa University Admissions Ranking Test (GU-ART) entrance exam. It is a common in-house entrance exam conducted by the university itself for all PG courses. The marks/ percentage obtained by the candidate while graduating would only be used to ascertain the eligibility of candidates for the programme. The purpose of the GU-ART is only to rank the prospective candidates and not for determination of pass/ fail.

The fees for a three-year BSc programme offered at Goa University ranges between INR 4,600 and INR 17.3 Lakh depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates.
