Placements: To start with internships, there was no support from the college. We had to ask our seniors and find the companies on our own and request those companies to take us as interns. Even if the company selected us, we had to make a lot of effort to convince our HOD to allow us to do the internship. There was no support or guidance from the faculties. Placements: The placement facility is very poor. There is frequent placement in the beginning, but there is no such facility from the last five years. The placement cell is not working, so I would rate it less. If anyone wants a good placement facility, they would be disappointed.
Placements: The placements are not satisfactory. If you have a good working experience, then it's good. But, for a fresher, it won't be easy to fetch a good job. The college does not offer internships. You have to search jobs by yourself. Only 3% to 4% of the students got placement from college.
Placements: The placement of the college was very poor. Only 1 or 2 percent of the batch got placed. The placement cell wasn't working properly and they didn't focus on the all-round development of the students. The companies which came for placement were nice but it was hardly 2 companies in ours as well as in seniors' batch. The package offered by them were below industry level.
Placements: For an on-campus interview, not even a single company visited. Many of the deserving candidates are now in trouble hunting jobs in an off-campus environment due to heavy competition. A few friends of mine are currently working with small-scale companies to earn few bucks even though it seems to have no future benefits and a proper moulding.
Placements: Placements for the year 2015 were considerably good. Companies like TCS and IRIS visited the campus along with major off-campus placements. The students were given the job roles of coders and analysts. The average payscale for the year was around Rs. 2-2.5 lpa. The students relied greatly on other sources than college counselling.
Placements: The placement facility at government engineering college, Patan is not available. In the beginning, some placement was done. Also, there is no placement cell available in the college. The placement rating is zero out five. The students who hope for getting placed would get disappointed. Also, no faculty is handling the stuff about placement.
Placements: Almost no placements in core field. Just mass IT recruiters. Only 10 out of a class of 200 were placed in Torrent. 40% of the remaining were placed in IT companies like Infosys and TCS. The placement officers were asking students for contacts if they could bring some companies.
Placements: Placements are not good in our college. Only 2 to 3% students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package is 4.2 lacs, the lowest salary package is 2.3 lacs and the average salary package is 3 lacs. Only some small companies visited for placements.
Placements: Professors have only taken our email IDs but till now i.e. after 3 months of completion of final exams, they still haven't sent any offers for job. Once there was a placement organised, but it was like the college has provided the space for that placement company. The job offers in that placement weren't much of technical field, and it was not for the college students but any one (not limited to the students of other colleges, but 'anyone' from outside can come for the interview). Placements: The placements were pathetic than what we were been promised at the time of taking admission. The counselor was totally selling us the MBA program rather than enrolling me in their college. I was told that the average package is between 3-5 lakhs per annum but nobody in the batch was been given more than 2.5 lakhs.
Placements: For our batch, there were no placements at all in our branch. No company visited our college. There was no faculty for placement. In our senior batch, some of the students were placed in good companies at a decent package.
Placements: In mechanical, there is a total of 420 students but only 3 companies visited for placement - Coca-Cola, Kiron Hydraulic, and Sigma NDT. In Coca-Cola, 4 students were selected and in other companies, 5 and 2 students were select respectively. Only 1% placement was done.
Placements: Very few selected students get placements. The top 10 students in every branch got jobs, but the package was also very low. Big companies are not coming to GEC Modasa. Only local companies which are nearby come for placements. If you planning to get admission for placements, please stay away from here.
Placements: There are few placements done, and only with small companies. Students resign from the job within a day or week. This happens many times. If you take admission in this college and get placed from the college, the income is less than the fee. If any marketing company comes, it's only for the post of sales manager, means, you'll have to directly sell the products to the consumers.
Placements: According to my experiences, I can say that my seniors didn't get any single company. We have talked about this to the faculty members. They said they would try for this and they tried, but they could bring only one company. However, no one focussed on that company because it was not a core company.
Placements: The placements of our college are not good. They are just faking good placements. Only 4 students are placed in the technical field and two of them are in a GIDC of low grade. Only two of them are in good companies, that is Linde. Now the other 10 students are in IT companies and so count only 14 students who are placed in the capacity of 150 students. Just imagine how our placements are!
Placements: The placements here are negligible. Spending 4 valuable years of your life to find placements with salaries of 10k won't please you definitely. So if you are doing the course from here, be ready to find a job yourself, as depending on the college won't help you in any way. Not even 5% students get placed and that too with a salary of not more than 12k.
Placements: The facility of placement of the students is next to none. Bright and excellent student also don't get any placement. If I have to rate for placements in Ahmedabad Institute of Technology, I will give zero stars. This year, a placement consultancy collaborated with the college but still, no placement was secured by any of the students.
Placements: The placements are not very good. We were briefed in the first year that there will be 100% placements but it is not. Only, a few students got selected. Even students are not aware about the placements due to lack of communication between faculty members and students.
