Guru Ghasidas College’s review for the course of Forensic Science.
Placements: The college provides facilities of gaining experiences through internships. For my course of Forensic Science, they provide internships in Regional Forensic Science laboratory along with providing seminars, etc. Placements are provided for engineering students. We have a placements cell in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my course is in a developing phase as we don't have our own department yet. Forensic Science department comes under the pharmacy department for now, but it is under construction. They provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a big library with all the type of books. Hostel is quite impressive, it is built in very big area having spacious rooms, proper mess, proper medical facilities along with opportunities for sports and games. In the hostel we have a sports room for table tennis and chess. We also have a badminton court, and in the university campus, we have majorly all the type of fields for sports.
Faculty: Teachers and scholars are qualified and very helpful in my college. For my course, there are 2 internal exams mainly with 2 theories and 2 practical exams along with end semester exams. 7 subjects being Major (main subject), minor, value added course (1 and 2), AEC (language course), (SEC) skill enhancement course are provided.
Other: I took this course because I saw an upcoming scope with opportunities in this course and thought it could provide me jobs in the future. My course is good. The college has many fest happening during the year. Every festival is celebrated with joy by the students. The college provides scholarship as well along with having good connectivity. They also have extra curricular activities.

At a very low cost, you get a high-quality education.
Placements: In placement, there is, as you say, a medium number of students getting placed; there is no high number of students getting placed but our university has tried its best for placement, which comes from my department. 4-5 students get placed in the FSL and many internships have been done by the students in the FSL and RFSL.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole campus and hostel is very well developed and all departments have their own buildings, some of which are developing in the next year. Hostel facilities for girls and boys are very good at low cost and affordable food is given to the students who live in hostels on the merit list .
Faculty: Faculty of all departments are well qualified and they teach us like friends and always behave like best friends. Semesters are done on time according to the academic year and for getting admission, you will have to give CUET-UG for UG courses, and for PG courses, you have to give CUET-PG exams.
Other: I have been very interested in forensics since childhood and I thought to explore the things in forensics. Forensics is very crucial for our judicial system .

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good teachers, and campus.
Placements: There is no placement after doing B.Sc. directly, but there may be a chance after doing M.Sc. Scope is more in Forensic Science because competition is less. In our time, there were 37 students. There is no company that directly selects a student based on B.Sc.
Infrastructure: The best thing is that the Wi-Fi and library facility is very good here. Every kind of book will be available in the library. As far as the hostel is concerned, the hostel is also good, and it is available for both boys and girls. There is a specific lab for each department.
Faculty: The best thing here is that the teachers are the most cooperative and always available for students. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but if someone needs any type of help, the teachers are always there to help and they are very humble.
Other: I chose this course because this course provides knowledge of criminal and legal things as well.

Satisfactory college, good education facilities.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students are placed in our course.  The highest package is about Rs 10,000 and the lowest one is Rs 3000. NFSU is an excellent place to work in this field. We can also work in CID and cyber fields.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, lab facilities, classroom, and library are all available. Good food and well-managed room facilities are available. Rooms are daily cleaned. Sports and games were played in the proper manner. Sports functions are also organised by the university.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and helpful. Their teaching method is satisfactory. There aren't many difficult semester exams. The passing percentage for theory is 40%, and the passing percentage for practical is 50%. It is a good field for studies, and new opportunities are opening up in this field.
Other: Because I am interested in this field, I selected this course. We learned about various types of crimes committed in our daily lives, as well as the related sections of this and the punishment. We also read about the medical field.
