It has a good infrastructure and good teachers.
Placements: Atleast 50% of students get placed here. Almost every student gets an internship. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA, and I can do a job anywhere as I will become a biochemist this year. The roles offered are good, and I will love to become a biochemist.
Infrastructure: Almost every facility is available here. The mess food is good. Wi-Fi facility is available here. It is the greatest pleasure for me to be a part of this university. It is located in Amritsar Punjab. Our university provides a pleasant environment and surroundings. Our university has a central library in which thousands of books are there. It is also digitally available for us, and we can use it from anywhere.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They make the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to do it. I love labs here. There are several clubs and societies which we can join according to our interest and learn a lot from there.

I am satisfied with the campus life and teaching faculty members.
Placements: None of the students get placed in our course. It does not provide placements, so the salary package is not offered to the students. Companies do not visit our college to hire students from our course. Everybody got an internship, but it is the requirement of the degree. Students do an internship on their own, may it be in government hospitals or private labs. After completion of the degree, one is eligible as a graduate and can go for lab technician or higher studies in lab technology.
Infrastructure: There are no such special facilities for us because it was under the biochemistry department. Facilities are available for M.Sc Biochemistry students, and we were just adjusting with them. The hostel and other facilities are average, like what can you expect from a government institute.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. My batchmates and I are not industry-ready now. To be industry-ready, we need to drop atleast 6 months and do training and gain some experience. Semester exams are not easy. You need to study hard to get good results. If you study every day for the whole year, then it is very much easy for you to get more than 8 CGPA without any hard work.
Other: I have chosen this course because, unlike other courses, it is a professional course and will not let you free after you leave your studies behind. It will atleast make you stand and earn for yourself. The infrastructure and labs should get improved. Guru Nanak Dev University is a place where you can have a good experience, good friends, and a lot of joyful memories. Our college organises events, fests, etc. I do not know much about scholarships, but if you are from a general background, then no one can help you out there.

Here are some key findings:

* Cooperative faculty: Students appreciate the supportive nature of the faculty members, who are willing to clarify doubts even outside of office hours.
* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is considered relevant and thorough, preparing students well for competitive exams and future careers.
* Limited placement opportunities: While the university offers limited placement opportunities, students can still find employment in various sectors, including government and private institutions.
* Infrastructure needs improvement: Some students mention that the infrastructure, particularly in certain departments, requires upgrading, while others highlight the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Mixed views on teaching quality: Opinions on teaching quality vary, with some students praising their professors' ability to explain complex concepts clearly, while others express concerns about inconsistent teaching standards.
* Good hostel facilities: The hostel facilities receive generally positive feedback, with comfortable living conditions and good food options.
* Cultural events and festivals: The university hosts various cultural events and festivals, providing students with opportunities to engage socially and develop their interests.
* No specialised facilities for B.Sc. students: Unfortunately, students pursuing a B.Sc. degree often face challenges due to the lack of specialised facilities and resources compared to other departments.

Overall, while GNDU receives mixed reviews, it seems that the university excels in areas such as faculty support, relevant curriculum, and hostel facilities. However, improvements are needed in regards to infrastructure, teaching quality, and resource allocation.
