The placements of Gurugram University's B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) seem to be relatively strong.

Around 75% to 80% of students get placed, with a wide range of salary packages offered, from 3 LPA to 9 LPA.

Is Gurugram University good for B.E./B.Tech?

Pros:

* Affordable fees compared to private engineering colleges
* Good faculty members who are cooperative and have proper management
* Decent infrastructure with modern facilities
* Opportunities for internships and industrial visits

Cons:

* Limited placement opportunities, especially for fresher batches
* No on-campus hostels currently, although plans are underway for a new campus with hostel facilities
* Poor communication between the university and placement cells
* Teachers' lack of practical experience and transferable knowledge
* Limited facilities and infrastructure, including poor Wi-Fi connectivity and outdated lab equipment
* Canteen and library amenities need improvement

There are 60 seats for B.Tech in Gurugram University out of which 10% seats are reserved for NRI students.

To eligible for B.Tech you have to pass class 12th in PCM and English subjects with 45% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category.

Hi Nishar, so Gurugram University accepts two types of scores for admission. Two distinct exams, CUET and CAT,  are conducted to provide admission to management and other courses. CAT and CUET are both national-level tests. However,  CAT scores are primarily for MBA students, whereas the CUET exam is for various disciplines. This means that CAT is for you if you want to pursue an MBA. Most colleges accept CAT scores for MBA admission, but the CUET score is applicable for various courses like in the case of Gurugram University.

Placements at GU are decent. From the last semester until the fourth semester, a student becomes eligible for on-campus placements. Numerous companies have visited the college, like Vivo, Oppo, Concentrix, and Micromax, and the highest package offered is INR 15 Lacs per annum, while the average package was INR 8 Lacs per annum for the last and first batch of B.Tech students at the university. The percentage of students getting placements is 80–90% of last year. Most of them have good jobs at good companies with a good package. The plan for most of the students after getting a degree is to get a good job at a good company. Other than that, the internships are given with a good stipend.

The following are the special categories for admission: Kashmir Migrant (KM), Mewat Area Residents (MAR), Haryana Government School Topper (HGST), Shivalik Development Board (SDB), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW). Check below in detail: HSTES Kashmir Migrant Seats: The number of seats under this scheme is 5% of the sanctioned intake of each course. The seats will be supernumerary in nature and will be filled separately on the basis of inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. HSTES BE/B.Tech Tuition Fee Waiver: Under this scheme, those candidates will be eligible whose parents annual income is less than eight Lacs from all sources. Seats under this category shall be supernumerary in nature, and up to a maximum of 5% of "Approved Intake" per Course shall be available for admission. The supernumerary seats will be available only to such courses in an institution where a minimum of 30% of the "Approved Intake" is filled. HSTES Haryana Government School Topper (HGST) Seats: These seats in each branch will be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in Class 12.
