B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

It is a good college for unprivileged students.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities. The placement cell of our college is not available. Students have to find jobs by themselves. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students. We have to apply for a job as a fresher.
Infrastructure: Our college has a beautiful view, but it is a bit messy and not maintained. Mostly, electricity is not available in our college. The hostel is unhygienic. The food served in the hostel is not good. Washrooms are not good. Many washrooms are unusable.
Faculty: Professors are very understanding and helpful. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. It is not much difficult to get good marks in exams. We have to prepare 1.5 months before the exams.
Other: It is a decent college. I would not recommend joining this college. If you work hard, you can prepare for a job or a competitive exam.

I am not satisfied with our college because of its placements.
Placements: The highest salary package offered for our course is 4.6 LPA. Major companies won't visit our college to recruit students. Only local rural companies rarely visit our college to recruit students. Only 5% of students got internships from our course. No top roles are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent and huge. Wi-Fi is rarely available in classrooms. Labs are moderate but lack many modern-day tools. The library is a good feature of our college. It has a good collection of books with ample space for students. The hostel is decent and not much fancy. Around 3 students can stay in each hostel room. The food served in the mess is below average and contains mostly oil in all food items. Sports are above average. We have a huge college ground for cricket and football. We also have a volleyball court and a badminton court. Our college does not provide medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are regular to the college. Our mathematics teachers ignore us. All teachers are qualified. Lab classes are conducted at their appropriate timings. Their teaching quality is below average. Students prepare the whole semester on their own. The course curriculum is a little bit relevant, but it does not make any student industry-ready. Semester exams are lenient. The questions asked in exams are moderate but the correction at Gurugram University is not good. They fail most of the students, even those who are confident that they will pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Almost 70 students are studying in the CSE branch. I opted for this course because it has a high chance of getting placements in the modern-day demand of CS graduates. Our college does not provide aspiring students with the right way of teaching. Seminars are conducted in our college but are of no use. Various sports are conducted in our college during the annual sports week. If you want success, you need to develop your own set of skills.

Good place near Aravali belt.
Placements: Placement after college is not the main thing people prefer here. Most graduates from this college go for higher studies or prepare for GATE. Placement offers are very few and in the range of 20,000 to 30,000 Rupees. Companies recruiting are Mahindra, Jio, Airtel, local companies, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and hostel facilities are the best things here. You get unlimited meals, both veg and non-veg, depending on your requirement. The only problem is the lack of network. Network issues are common, and Wi-Fi is also not available at the hostel. Medical facilities are available. A lot of different sports and games are played here, but you need to find the right group.
Faculty: Faculty is amazing since all are from some of the best universities like Jamia and AMU. All teachers are very helpful and guiding. The course curriculum is somewhat outdated, which is common with the fast-growing technology. You have to study or learn skills on your own. Semester exams are really tough because they are conducted by external examiners and checked by externals only. So you have to study hard to pass, as the passing number is usually 33 out of 100.
Other: I got here because I really wanted to move out of my city, and most importantly, I wanted to do CSE, which I wasn't getting as I applied late. I want some improvements, like Wi-Fi availability, better maintenance of the building, and use of the latest technology to help students.

Be a successful engineer at an affordable fees and be the change maker.
Placements: The MECW offers average placements to the meritorious students. Computer Science, EEE and ECE departments are having higher rates of placements. Mostly students are placed in IT companies located in Gurugram, Noida and New Delhi. For more details of the companies, please refer the website.
Infrastructure: The college has a nice campus, an air conditioned library, free Wi-Fi in the college only and good laboratories with all working equipments and apparatus. Hostel is situated nearly 700-800 meters away from college campus. Hostel has gym facility, provides hygienic both veg and non-veg food. 24/7 water is available in the hostel. Hostel doesn't have Wi-Fi facility. It has a large space for games and sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified M.Tech and Ph.D. holders from the reputed institutes of India like DTU, DU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University and NITs. Few faculty members have achieved their Masters and PhDs from abroad like Malaysia and serving the students with their diverse experience and skills.
Other: Following reasons made me to join this college: 1) Very Affordable Fees. 2) Lateral Entry Admission for Diploma Holders. 3) The college has hostel and bus facilities. 4) Qualified faculty members. 5) Immense support in research based work or project.

I am satisfied with all the faculty members of this college.
Placements: It is the only college in the entire Mewat. Students who have 60% or more get placed in this course, and the 12th class can get admission to the college. Packages depend on the skills of students. Honda, Harada Su-Kam are the companies who collaborate with our college.
Infrastructure: It provides well-maintained laboratories and classrooms. For CSE, college has many laboratories of computers for practice. The hostel facility is good, and a well-maintained mess hall is available for the students. The menu is good and the staff as well.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers are highly qualified like M.Tech and PhDs. They are very helpful for the students and manners are very good of all teachers. This course is the key to technology, and students study machine learning in this course which every industry and company needed today. Semester examination is not hard if students study all the material provided by the teachers.
Other: This is a minority college and the fee structure is half for the girls.

It is a low average college because there is a very less number of students who got placements.
Placements: In our course, almost 40% of the students got placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is 1 ac per month. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. Approximately 40% of students got internships in Internshala, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Some small companies also hire students to do internships.
Infrastructure: In our course, there are few labs for students to learn programming or anything related to our course. Wi-Fi is available on campus, and the library is good with air-conditioners. Classrooms are also good with projectors. The hostel lacks in providing light and water. There is no proper mess in girls hostel, and even canteen is not available. The medical facilities available are low. Sports are available only for boys.
Faculty: A few teachers are helpful and good. They have good knowledge, but some teachers do not teach their subjects because they have less time and in our department, there are fewer teachers/professors. The course curriculum is relevant. CSE is a trending course for today's technology. Semester exams held are average, and the pass percentage is 60-65%. But I scored 75%.
Other: These days technology is growing fast, and computer science is the best engineering course. The best thing is that we have learned a lot of programming languages which help to be industry advance and developed new machines.
