Placements: Placements for our batch was good. Almost 80% of the students got placed. Placements for our senior batch was also good, and it was around 70%. However, it significantly improved in 2019. The highest salary package offered was 37 LPA, which was offered by Uber to Sajal Jain from computer science engineering stream.
Placements: Placements in the college were not bad compared to other state-based colleges. Many people got placed in reputed companies like Reliance, TCS, and some of the Miniratna PSUs like Bharat Electronics Limited visited the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is 9-10 LPA. Overall, HBTU provides us with better placements.
Placements: Placements for non-core branches are pretty good. For the paint branch, placements are 100%, and the packages range between 4-7 LPA. Oil branch students have 100%, but the packages offered are very low compared to other branches. The oil technology branch is about edible oil and not related to petroleum branch. So, I suggest you choose your branch wisely.
Placements: Placements are not good for MCA branch in this college. Only around 20% of the students were placed, and the average package offered is around 3 LPA. There is no internship from college, and the companies also don't visit the campus to offer internships. There is a placement cell in the college, but there is no support for MCA students.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students got internship opportunities from the college. Some students on the campus also got paid internships. Recently, my friend from IT branch got an internship opportunity with a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month. Regarding placements, 98% of the students got placed through the campus placements, and the rest went for government jobs or higher studies like MS, etc.
Placements: If we talk about core branches, the placement is not so bad at all, but in the case of non-core branches except few (paint technology, plastic technology) placements are not right. This year PSUs (ONGC, BPCL) visited our college and took 5-6 students. Paint technology is the only branch that has about 90% placement. Bio-chemical branch and the leather branch have almost 0% placement.
Placements: The placements of the college have declined considerably in recent years. The highest salary package offered for a student in the CS department was around 9 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Various companies like TCS, Yatra, Global Logix, Nucleus, etc., visit the college to conduct placements. Around 40% of the students get placed, every year.
Placements: The placements in our college are average. Students of some branches are offered high placements, and some branches are offered low placements. The college doesn't support internships even. They show politics in placements.
Placements: Placements are very good, but as per the reputation and fame of college, they should be even better. A few companies visit the college to hire students. So, they should take care of that. 90% of the students from non-core branches get placed. The placements for the students of non-core branches is more when compared with core branches. The average salary package offered is not up to the mark.
Placements: Placement is mediocre with around 40-50 %students being placed in the last two years I have been here. The package ranges from 3lpa to 14 LPA. Branches like PT and PL have around 100 %placement alongside traditionally decent branches like CSE and ME.
Placements: 33 placed out of 45 eligible student (53 in total) the highest on campus:17.5Lpa the lowest on campus: 3.5lpa Production, marketing &sales, analytics were the main job profiles offered. Everyone got internships at good companies (government. And Private). Good for those who want to focus on GATE or CAT.
Placements: There has been some improvements in placement this year after becoming university in 2016. 600 out of 800 (approximately) students have been placed with an average salary of 6.5 lacs in which chemical, ot (oil tech. ) and pt (paint technology) have 99% placements. But talking about my branch the placement is quite poor as only 3 of the 48 students have been placed. Adobe, samsung, axon mobile are stone of multinational companies which visited the campus.
Placements: The placement record is very poor. This year only 2 students from my branch get placed, with a package of 3.24 LPA. The placement cell is a bit inactive. You have to do everything thing by yourself. The academic department is bad as they don't know how to change a branch, I mean they invented a brand new method, and maybe some corruption is also involved.
Placements: There are good placements, but they are average in terms of the package offered. The highest package this time was from Yatra, that is of 9 LPA. Mechanical takes away the major chunk of placements and this time electrical also had good placements. Civil placements also showed an upbeat but packages were low. Non-core branches like chemical, IT and paint tech can easily brag healthy placements.
Placements: Around, 20 out of 70 seniors got placed in the core mechanical companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hero, Suzuki, Hindalco Industries with an average of 5.5 LPA package and the highest package of 8.5 LPA. There is the much more high rate of placement in CS /IT branches. Since HBTU is the only government north Indian college for paint, oil, leather technologies as they have almost 100% placement with an average of 4 LPA and the highest package of 12 lacs per year.
Placements: The placements offered in the college are good, but not enough for everyone and does not get the placement in chemical engineering. But 80% of the eligible candidates got good placement and got good packages of about 5 LPA is the average package of the student who got placed from here, and the best part is the companies are too interested in offering the placement here.
Placements: The placement in our college is surprisingly great for non-core branches, but for core branches, you just need to work hard on your own. For the mechanical branch, companies like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Toyota, etc., come. The highest annual package offered here was 15 Lacs, and the lowest is as it can get.
Placements: On the basis of the quality of roles offered and the companies' visit to the campus, placements were better for the senior batch as compared to ours. Highest salary: 12 LPA, lowest salary: 3.75 LPA, average salary: 4.5 LPA. Companies that visited: Amazon, TCS, Nucleus Software, Software AG, Reliance Jio Infocomm. Roles offered: assistant software engineer, software developer, software tester, quality assurance.
Placements: If I talk about placements in HBTU, then it can be explained with the reference to the branch you are studying in. Placements in core branches like electronics, electrical and mechanical are average. CS and IT branches have a really good condition as compared to other branches because the students who placed in these branches are offered a minimum of 4-5 lacs package. Now we talk about chemical technology then this is the top branch here. Food, bio, plastic, paint, leather and oil technology are...
Placements: In my branch, placement is not as good as it used to be. In 2014-15, more than 40 students were placed out of 60, in which 2 students got a double offer. In 2015-16, about 30 students were placed. In my batch i.e. 2016-17, only 23 students were placed out of 71 students in which 2 students got a double offer. So it can be seen that it is declining day by day. Highest salary was offered by Dabur i.e. of 7.2 lakh and the lowest salary was 3.5 lakh (I don't remember the name of the company). Comp...
