It's a well-reputed and well-known college, and the best ranking in the state regarding engineering.

Placements: Around 50% of the seniors were placed in 2018 for software development, and code testing by different companies such as Samsung, Global Logic, TCS, Yatra, etc., at a package of maximum 8.5 lacs per annum and a minimum of 3.5 lacs per annum, in which percentage criteria was above 65%. No one got the internship from the college, and I am a 3rd-year student, but my classmate and I did not get an intern from college. There is a placement cell in our college, and it is much useful for placement purpo...

Overall analysis of HBTU Kanpur.

Placements: The placements for Civil Engineering are not so good. The packages offered are low about 6-7 lacs so the students prepare themselves for GATE and other competitive exams and score good there. Common complained that visit the campus are LnT, hindalco cement, ambuja cement.

Loosing its glare with time.

Placements: Majority of students get placed. Some students from branches like leather Technology and Oil Technology find it hard to find a job. Placement is 100 % in branches like paint Technology and chemical engineering. Off campus record is very good, a student can get more than expected package with little effort.

The college has good placements and a huge alumni network.

Placements: Chemical placement in HBTU is good. Around, 80-90% of the students get selected. The off-campus placements are also good. There is a huge alumni network of HBTU, which in some way or the other helps. The average salary package is around 6-8 LPA. In the year 2018, around 30 companies were there, and as usual, TCS was the mass recruiter.

The HBTU currently needs a saviour.

Placements: For the batch of 2017, 80% of the students placed with six students placed at Samsung Noida at an annual package of 14 LPA. 8 Students were offered a job at Global Logic Noida at a yearly package of 4.75 LPA. Also 11 students were offered a job at TCS at a salary of 3.75 LPA. For the batch of 2018, nine students got a job at Yatra.com at a salary of 9 LPA. Dissatisfied with some faculty members due to corruption.

Placements: Placements in hbtu for non core branches and CS branch is very good with average package of 7-8 LPA. But for branches like electronics, civil package is not good. Not enough company demand civil and electronics engineers from hbtu. ET and civil are 2 the worst branches of the college in terms of placements.

A very good college of explore your talent.

Placements: In my batch placements were 30%. The placement varies 30 to 40% in electrical branch. Maximum students prefer to prepare for Poland ESE. In Pvt sector Tata chemical, Mitsubishi, Jindal Steel, Sterlite cables, sapient nitro, l&t, Accenture, TCS, Infosys etc. come to recruit. Average packages vary around 4.5 to 5LPA for all except TCS, Accenture and Infosys (3.5LPA around). In my senior batch, the placements were good than our batch. LNG Metronet visited our batch also. Good placements, poor infrastructure, less faculty members. Good atmosphere for GATE, IES, PSU, CAT.

Placements: The placements stats in HBTU are very good for some branches like computer science, paint technology, and chemical engineering. Some PSUs like BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited offering 9 LPA), BORL (Bharat Oman Refinery College offering 8 LPA) also visit every year. The highest packages in HBTU is is bagged by most of the computer science students. Overall, it is a good college to study.

Placements: There is a good placement training. The placement cell is also good. Many types of companies visit every year because the main reason is, it is the oldest college in UP. The faculty members are too good. I was very lucky to study at Harcourt Butler Technical University. There are a lot of functions in the college. Every student takes part on their own.

Absolutely satisfied because of our great past and college is proceeding for better tomorrow.

Placements: When we talk about the placement of HBTU, it comes in front of us that non-core branches like oil technology and paint technology have better placement records than other branches. Still, CS branch has the best placement record in the college. The present year, it is about 14 to 15 LPA is the highest placement and the average package offered is 6 to 7 LPA.

A review on Harcourt Butler Technical University.

Placements: The best in all branches, but more in paint and plastic technologies companies from Dubai and from other countries also take the students from our college with good package. Approximately of 9 to 10 lacs was offered. Good environment for studies and supporting seniors and you can do a lot of fun because there is a cultural celebration every year to improve your overall skills and a special induction programme for the first-year students every year.

Overall, a nice choice for bachelors, but don't expect too much.

Placements: The placements in the college happen around the year with some decent companies like Amazon, Adobe, Yatra, Flipkart, Infosys, Samsung, Reliance Jio, etc. in the CS-IT spectrum of companies. Also, companies like Maruti, Tata etc. are visiting for mechanical, paint, chemical, etc. branches, and Pidilite, Asian paints, etc. for branches like paint and plastic technology. The good thing here is the wide variety of companies visiting and likewise for the courses.

The placements of the college are average, but the faculty is good.

Placements: We have average placement here. The placement percentage was declined in the past few years. Some branches like paint technology have 80% of the placement while others have 25-30%. The average salary is about 4.5 LPA. The companies like Tata motors, Valspar, Maruti visit the college. The internship is offered except for few branches. There is a placement cell, and it is working efficiently.

The HBTU prodigies are intelligent, competent, and professional.

Placements: For 2017 batch, the placements were quite exciting. Samsung offered the highest package of 14 lacs per annum and four of the students got it, and the lowest package was 3.5 lacs per anum, which was offered by TCS. In total, 45 students out of 64 were placed. As there is a trend in our college to go for GATE and CAT, there were many students who didn't appear in placements. This year, though there is a drop in placements percentage, 34 students have been placed so far with the package of 9 LPA a...

Placements: According to the placement stats, which was kept on the notice board, (interestingly, no information is on the website). Last year, the highest salary package through on-campus placement was of 14 LPA, by Samsung. The lowest packages are around 3.5 LPA. The paint and plastic technology branches enjoy a close to 100% placement here, with the average salaries being around 7 LPA. Placements: The paint technology placement is almost 95% in every year. Almost all the students get placed in every year if they have 65% or more marks in the academics. The maximum package offered in 2016-17 is Rs. 7.2 LPA by Maruti Suzuki. The average package offered is Rs. 5 LPA and the minimum package offered is Rs. 3.2 LPA in 2016-17. Placements: Placements are mainly based on your talent and knowledge of your field and in HBTU, the placement is neither good nor bad. It is moderate. In HBTU, the highest package in the CSE department is 16 lakhs according to my knowledge and the average package is 6 lakhs. Mainly, 75% students were placed in the previous year. Placements: The placements of our college are very good. We have a 100% placement rate for all the eligible candidates in our branch. Some attractive companies like Maruti, Tata, Bajaj, Hero, Asian, Valspar, Honda, and Nerolac, etc., offer the average package of Rs. 6 LPA to Rs. 6.5 LPA. The highest package offered is approximately Rs. 7.5 LPA, but approximately all the companies offer Rs. 6 LPA. In the career prospective, this is the best place for getting accelerated. Placements: The placement in the civil branch is moderate, and if someone is willing to get placed, they can get placed because if we take the example of the current year, 10 students were placed out of 30 students, and still it is continuing. If we consider the other branches then mechanical, computer science, IT, leather, paint, oil, chemical, electronics has good placement records.

Placements: Civil placements are 100% but the average package is 3.5 lakhs and the highest package is 4.5 lakhs, which is why students do not take campus placements and rather go for GATE and IES for PSUs and government jobs in PWD, CPWD, etc. Above 75% got the internship from the college. I have no idea about the highest or average stipend.
