Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University [HNBGU] Scholarships and Funding
Merit Based:
To B.Ed. students: Six students securing the top six positions in the entrance examination conducted by the University for admission to B.Ed. are granted a monthly Scholarship of INR 200/- each.
To BPL Students: Scholarship of INR 1500/- per month is granted to a maximum of ten talented students of the University belonging to BPL category.
Some of the scholarships are granted to the bonafide students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, provided that the annual income of the applicant's family does not exceed to Rs. 2,50,000 in case of SC/ST students and Rs.1,00,000 in case of OBC category. Students falling in this category must have a bank account in any nationalized bank.

Placements: Placements are below average in the college. Out of the 40 students in my course, only 5 students were placed, with the highest package going up to 5.69 lakhs per annum, which was given by an Edtech company. Talking about internships, no internships are offered in my course.
Placements: As a medical student, we have a placement of 100% package, which depends on various hospitals, mostly Max and Indresh. Roles offered are junior physiotherapist and medical lab technology; we can also set up private clinical practices for increasing our capacity.
Placements: No one gets a job or placement from then college, but the students can apply for jobs themselves. The average package offered in B.Com is around 25 to 30 thousand per month. The top role offered is that of accountant in any field from this course. There are 50% chances that you will get an internship.
Placements: We don't have too many students in our course, that is, B.Sc. Biotechnology. There are only 25-30 students enrolling every year, and we don't have placements in graduation in our department, so I don't have much knowledge about the recruiting companies, and we don't get internships from college. If you want to do an internship, it's your personal choice.
Placements: The university offered a package of 6 lac/year to the highest-paid students, 2-3 lac/year to the lowest-paid students, and an average package of 5 lac/year. Placement rates depend on the skills of the students and are average for the university as a whole. Some courses have better placement rates than others. Placements: There is an average placements rate is in our college. The college puts efforts into bringing companies but the students at RIT are unable to crack the interviews and therefore, stay unemployed. If you do well, you can get a good packages. If not, then you will get a package of around 3 LPA.
