It would be good if you join the computer science department.

Placements: The placement cell is trying to bring many companies for the computer science department although the base package is 3.5LPA. The dream companies like Amazon visited and recruited one student with the high pay of 15LPA. When compared to the mass recruitment of other universities, my university lags behind in bringing companies like those. I would say one would get placed on-campus if they have good skills and perform at least average in their academics.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements for electrical, IT and CSC students were good, and for mechanical students it was moderate. Recently university collaborated with Volkswagen company and started a new course called autotronics engineering, students from branches like mechanical and auto electrical can join the course.

One of the best colleges to pursue your career in the field of engineering and technology.

Placements: A good placement chances are provided depending upon performance in academic and reputed companies visit every year hiring students for their companies, and this increases every year. Students got placed in reputed companies last year, and college is aiming for more number of placements this year and upcoming years.

One thing I want to say about this is if we are focusing for IT companies, it's a very best place.

Placements: If you are expecting the core job, I think it's not the right choice. But if you are trying for IT jobs, then it is good. We get so many opportunities. The packages will be around 3.25 LPA. The main companies are Infosys, Mahindra, etc. We also get big companies like Amazon, IBM but fewer opportunities are there to get placed in those companies.

The college is an eco-friendly campus.

Placements: The brand Hindustan University is famous for aeronautics and aerospace engineering. When it comes to the placements, you have to fight on your own, and the rest of the departments amaze especially the mechanical and the IT departments. When it comes to the salary packages, the minimum offer is Rs. 15 K per month which is quite good for the freshers. The top IT industries will visit at the end of the third year. The internships are all up to your interests, but the college helps 65% of the studen...

The college aims to bring success to every student without failure.

Placements: The college has good placement record with proper training to get a job. Placement cell is doing a great work in inviting the companies to visit the campus for recruiting the students. The "Smart Training Center" members come to our campus for training the students with company aptitude test. They conduct tests to check the standard of the students. Mock interview and group discussion take place to make the students free to talk in a group of peer members.

It can't neither be termed as one of the best colleges nor a bad college

Placements: Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Polaris, Capgemini and Happiest Mind were some of the top IT companies that visited our campus. Almost 80% of my class got their placement. The average package was 3.5 LPA. They were mostly recruited as a system analyst. Though most of the companies that visited the campus were from IT sector, some core companies too visited the campus like Data Mind. Indian Navy also campus for UES Tech. The college has placement and training cell which assist students in placements and ...

Hindustan University goes the expectations.

Placements: We are getting placed in various companies for sure based on our talent. We should take care of our skills. A minimum of 60% students is placing in different companies. Last year, our seniors got placed in 10-15 companies. They provided from 3.25 lakhs per annum to 5 lakhs per annum. We have a less number of core companies for placements.

Somewhat disappointed with my college. The reason being faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were below average and the package offered was also the least. The majority which visited was only call center companies. The internship was offered only for a few number of students. Recently, companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra and Amazon have visited but only four or five got placed. The least salary offered is about one lakh and maximum I heard of is about thirty lakhs. This is all for our senior batch and yet we have to wait for our upcoming placements. ...

Hindustan University at its best and worst.

Placements: Placement was good. Many top companies of India like Infosys, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. came this year and many students have been placed. Students undergo placement training for six months in the college itself. Even students having backlog got placed. Students went to the companies in the final semester.

Hindustan University - Makes every man a success. rightly so.

Placements: The placements, as far as from what I've heard from my seniors, have been particularly good for IT and computer science engineering. The aeronautical and aerospace engineering departments are two of the best in the country with best technologies involved. But placements aren't good. ECE and EEE have decent placements. The companies that basically offer the maximum placements here are Infosys, TCS, HCL, etc. Last year, Infosys hired 120 freshers from our university. HCL hired 30, TCS 77. ...

Good infrastructure and good faculty make the college good.

Placements: Placement is quite good in our college as compared to other private engineering colleges. Approx 50-60% of the students are placed in different companies. As we know, it is difficult to get placed in core companies. Mostly IT companies visit our college for placements, like TCS, Wipro, etc. Some of the core companies that come to our college are MRF, Mahindra, BHEL, etc. Last year, National Aviation Company of India came to our college for placements. Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are quite good in this college. But very few students get placement in their core subject and IT companies are hiring more people from here. Many good companies like Volkswagon, BMW, and Porsche has visited the college for placement. The college is helping the students to get ready for the placements through their placement program in the 3rd year.

Good infrastructure but not used as well.

Placements: Students get placed mostly in the IT companies rather than the core ones. Placement in core companies is mainly due to external recruitment drives and walk-in interviews. The funny part is that Infosys recruits more than 30 people every year from automobile and aeronautical departments but hardly 5 or 6 people from the IT and CSE department.

Good infrastructure and has been awarded the most green campus.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch was good as Accenture came and hired a good number of students. But this was not the case for our batch. The average salary offered is low. No internships are offered and no stipends also. Companies that visited- Accenture (for senior batch), Tech Mahindra, Infosys and two-three small companies.

One of the best institutes for aviation.

Placements: They have a good amount of companies visiting every year. But there are no aerospace companies coming for placements. You get a variety of IT companies recruiting a lot of students every year. As an aerospace engineer, I would say that you can't expect campus interview related to the aerospace field. They also provide companies like Infosys, TCS, Zoho, Tech Mahindra, etc. which are good enough for all the department students. They also take good care of students during the placements. Absolutely dissatisfied because of college fines.

Placements: Placements in Hindustan were better for our batch than our seniors. An average of 10-20 students from each department get selected every year with a salary starting from 3 to 5 LPA. Companies, mainly IT like Infosys, I GATE, Tech Mahindra, Zoho etc come and recruit students every year from Hindustan as system and software engineers. Internships were never given from our college, rather students do go out and find for themselves.

Money plays more role than knowledge.

Placements: Frankly speaking, none of my batch mates got placed because of no campus interviews. Just 40% of my department (50) students got a job and that too they searched for the past three months and others are still searching for some job, even with a salary of Rs. 10000. 3 of 50 are currently working as assistant professors in some institution since they don't have any other option. Placement is poor.

Placements: Pre-placement training provided by the university is quite useful. Placements are good for other branches in the university especially for IT and electrical but for mechanical and aeronautical there are no placements at all. Students have to get placement from off campus drive.

First reason to select this college is that the course fee is lesser as compared to other colleges. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. The college infrastructure is also good. The faculty members are paid well and the students are treated as friends.
