The campus life is good, but I am not satisfied with placements.

Placements: I am 2020 passed out candidate. I have chosen an engineering course in ECE. As of now, almost 20% of the students got placed in various companies like Infosys, TCS, and IBM. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruitment company in our course is Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Decent college if your goal is to get a degree. Forget placements*.

Placements: There was not a single company which came for placement for our batch (2013-17). Students who even graduated with 9+ CGPA were left jobless. Now, they are forced to do Masters/M.Tech with no experience. Which is again entering into not a good territory, because your peer's come with enough relevant experience and you have nothing to show. Only 2-3 students from our batch of 120 were able to find a job in our respective fields, that too with reference. Now the number has gone upto 12-20 max. Sit...

The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Zoho, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Software engineer, business development manager, etc., were the top roles offered to students. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The placements and infrastructure are not that good.

Placements: There are not many placements for EEE students in our college. Only 3% to 8% of the students got placed, but they didn't join the companies as they were not the core companies. Most of the students in our batch are still struggling to get a job as there are only limited jobs in the private sector. So, most of the students are trying for the government jobs.

The college is average but good for aeronautical and automobile branches.

Placements: Our placements were very bad for the majority of branches. Only aeronautical and automobile domain students got selected by the companies which visited the campus. The average salary package offered was in between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Very few students got placed in the campus placements.

Good college for B.Tech in Chennai.

Placements: The placements were average, and most of the companies visiting the college were IT companies. Some of my friends got selected in the companies like Happiest Mind, Infosys, etc. I heard that the placements are good for the previous batches, some of my juniors got good placements, and some are still appearing in the process. I am hoping for the placements to catch up this year.

Think before joining in this college.

Placements: The placement record is not that good enough. We can say up to 5-10%. The college is not showing much intention for the placements of the students. The college needs to focus more on this specific field. The college will repeat one or two companies again and again. The college is not providing enough requirements.

Insight about Automobile Engineering.

Placements: Core Placement is good but its not consistent over the years. But you get to learn more practical knowledge which is highly important when you start your Career. It's very important to start learning practically then theoretically. Theory gives you directions but practical gives you experience.

Hindustan University is over rated.

Placements: The placements for aerospace and aeronautical students are minimal that is only single digits. The placements for other departments like CSE and ECE are average. Hindustan is not a college, particularly for placement. Most of them study here and apply for higher studies.

Overall a pretty decent campus with good courses.

Placements: Placements are more from the IT side, automotive firms coming for placements are less and offer very less salary package. The highest salary offered was by Zoho, recently, with a pay scale of Rs.37,000 per month. Other companies offered a very less salary package of Rs.10,000 per month.

It is a good college with greenery.

Placements: The placements were not much good when compared to my previous batch. Previous batch students got placed in most of the companies which we got. The placements for our batch was not good and very few people got placed. In total, in 2015 batch, from all branches, only 150 people got placed.

Overall the college is good but one never get that 'college feeling' inside the campus.

Placements: The placement is neither bad nor good, only a few (25%) gets the placement, but recently one had got placed on Amazon with a very good package of about 12+ LPA. Though the college has collaboration with some big companies, the placement is not up to the mark.

Don't expect any help from the university, it would be great if you utilise the facility.

Placements: The placements offered are average. The core companies didn't visit our campus for the aeronautical engineering. Only IT companies came for the campus selections. Infosys, IBM, and Zolo companies have visited our university for the aeronautical engineering. The average salary offered is 4-5 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell and not so useful. Around 20-30 percentage of the students got placed.

Poor infrastructure and teaching is average. The placements are less.

Placements: The placements offered are very less for the aeronautical engineering. For our seniors and us also, nearly 50% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered 25 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered was 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest offered was 4.7 lacs per annum. Zoho Corp, Tata Motors, Indian navy, Infosys, etc., were the companies offered the roles assistant engineer posts for the student. Nearly, 40% got an internship. No stipend was offered to the students. There is a...

Not worth the money spent.

Placements: I am from the batch of 2013, and during that year only, 3-4 companies visited our college for the placements (specific to electrical and electronics stream). The strength of the batch was 120 students and out of which, 14 were placed in Accenture India, and apart from that, no other student was placed in other companies. Here is the list of companies visited the college (specific to EEE stream), Accenture India - 14 out of 120 EEE students were placed, Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, Gate, an...

Not much satisfied with my college, good faculty but less number of placements.

Placements: Very few members were placed in core companies, and regarding aeronautical, there aren't many companies coming to our college. There is a placement cell, and not everyone gets the notification about the placement. Only a few members of each section could register to it.

The college is not recommended for the merit students.

Placements: The college is not good at bringing good MNCs and the mass recruiting companies. The companies that come are taking only a few students, and the packages are less for the placed students. The placements are good for CSE when compared to the other departments. There are no internships on the campus for the students.

The management is unprofessional.

Placements: The placements for my batch have been during the 7th semester have been fair. A total of six companies arrived viz. Infosys, IBM, GSS, Systech, Amazon, Servion and Newgen Software Technology respectively. Out of 130 students, 13 have been placed or selected in my department for an internship based on the performance of which they will be offered the job. I cannot inform about the other departments because their companies haven't visited yet for the recruitment. However, 3 mechanical students, 4 ...

Quality depends on the branch of interest

Placements: Placement companies are generally IT or data entry based companies. The recruitment is based on the rules followed by their companies. Very few core companies visit the campus for the aeronautical stream. The highest salary package for a B.Tech graduate is around 5 lacs pa. The college has a placement cell which is responsible for placements.
