Hindustan University goes the expectations.

Placements: We are getting placed in various companies for sure based on our talent. We should take care of our skills. A minimum of 60% students is placing in different companies. Last year, our seniors got placed in 10-15 companies. They provided from 3.25 lakhs per annum to 5 lakhs per annum. We have a less number of core companies for placements.

Good infrastructure and good faculty make the college good.

Placements: Placement is quite good in our college as compared to other private engineering colleges. Approx 50-60% of the students are placed in different companies. As we know, it is difficult to get placed in core companies. Mostly IT companies visit our college for placements, like TCS, Wipro, etc. Some of the core companies that come to our college are MRF, Mahindra, BHEL, etc. Last year, National Aviation Company of India came to our college for placements. The range of stipend they offered is appro...

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are quite good in this college. But very few students get placement in their core subject and IT companies are hiring more people from here. Many good companies like Volkswagon, BMW, and Porsche has visited the college for placement. The college is helping the students to get ready for the placements through their placement program in the 3rd year.

Good infrastructure but not used as well.

Placements: Students get placed mostly in the IT companies rather than the core ones. Placement in core companies is mainly due to external recruitment drives and walk-in interviews. The funny part is that Infosys recruits more than 30 people every year from automobile and aeronautical departments but hardly 5 or 6 people from the IT and CSE department.

Good infrastructure and has been awarded the most green campus.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch was good as Accenture came and hired a good number of students. But this was not the case for our batch. The average salary offered is low. No internships are offered and no stipends also. Companies that visited- Accenture (for senior batch), Tech Mahindra, Infosys and two-three small companies.

Money plays more role than knowledge.

Placements: Frankly speaking, none of my batch mates got placed because of no campus interviews. Just 40% of my department (50) students got a job and that too they searched for the past three months and others are still searching for some job, even with a salary of Rs. 10000. 3 of 50 are currently working as assistant professors in some institution since they don't have any other option. Placement is poor.

First reason to select this college is that the course fee is lesser as compared to other colleges. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. The college infrastructure is also good. The faculty members are paid well and the students are treated as friends.

The college had a good name before it became deemed. But after that became worse. The college has all sports facilities but not for studies. The fees are high as compared to other same grade colleges. They will fine you even if you ask more questions. I had paid more than 10000 as fine.

The college has a green campus and pleasant study atmosphere. One can prefer aeronautics in this college. Coming to the hostel, the premises are a bit untidy. It has a very good, centralised air-conditioned library with a number of books available. The wonderful faculty members of the Aeronautical department are the assets of this college.

I graduated from Hindustan University in 2013. The college is located in the best place in Chennai, where a student wants to be during his college life and where he can taste the flavour of the companies and employees around the college. Regarding the MBA course, what I have experienced in the college is that there are no experienced and trained faculty members. Being in the midst of the companies, the college lacks contacts with the companies and they are unable to bring in good companies for ...

Good crowd and best place to utilise the resources provided.

Placements: In my course, which was BBA Aviation Management, almost 55 students got admission. Internships depend on the field in which you want to work, so it depends on you. The top recruiters were IndiGo and AirAsia. Other airlines and aviation-related companies came as well.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Placements are not much good in our college. Around 10-20% of students got placed in our college. Many start-up companies visit our college to recruit students. Only a few MNCs like Cognizant, L&T, etc., visit our college.

Our college is the best college if you are looking for admission.

Placements: Our college got an excellent placement record. About 80% of the batch got job offers at reputed organisations the previous year. In the 3rd year, good colleges arrange campus placement drives for students. Better or more recognised colleges were able to attract MNCs. The salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 7 LPA. The smallest company's salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. This college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement for engineering students like mechanical and automobile are not in core companies and it is disappointing. But CSC and IT students are getting placed in IT companies. I hope that they get more core companies for engineering students in the mech, auto, and mechatronics.

Absolutely fine regarding the infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: There are more chances for IT companies, but very little for the core companies, to come over here with regard to placement. The average salary package is Rs 3.4 L and the highest will be up to 8 L. Internships are mandatory and you have to find them by yourself. Staff recommendations can easily get you into HAL.
