Overall, our college is very good.

Placements: About 69% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary offered in our course is 1.5 lacs per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Above 60% of students from the course got an internship. The top roles offered in our course are writer, language teacher, lecturer, and tutor.

If financial condition is poor or need to prepare for a competitive exam, then is for you.

Placements: Mostly non-science students apply in the course but it requires Maths in class 11th and 12th. As there are possibilities of placement only in top economics college. As in IGNOU university placement is not possible but here I tell you some of the roles offered in the course. 1. Economist, 2. Data Analyst, 3. Investment analyst, 4. Financial planner, 5. Acountant.

Review of IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Placements: It is an open university. So, BCA degree students should not think about placements from here in software companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc. It is based on you, your talent and how much you learned in the period of BCA.

I am dissatisfied with my decision of enrolling here. It is not worth it.

Placements: As it is a distant learning university so the placement support from their end is negligible. Companies are in search of top talents which they are not looking for in distant education universities. BCA isn't a bad degree, it is very practical oriented and the knowledge gained from these types of universities is very minimal and so is the placement support. But if you improve your skills you can try for an internship in the second or third year of your tenure which can open up opportunities for ...

I am not much satisfied with our college.

Placements: It is a good university for part-time learners. But there is no placement support. Neither internships are provided. They arrange placements, but that's for not so good profiles. They are like assistant and executive profiles, and the salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month.

Review of IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Placements: If you are doing an integrated programme from IGNOU, then I would suggest not to do this course from here for knowledge purpose. The college is good, but if you are looking forward to getting a job after completing MCA from IGNOU, you will not get a good job from here. If you want to be a good programmer or want to pursue MCA from some regular university or regular college, then IGNOU is not a good college.

Open University should have to improve the system of education.

Placements: No placement cell, students here do not get any placement. They do not get any type of training in the field, so we didn't get any experience and enthusiasm for work. Also, we didn't get an internship opportunity. Thank you.

Huge scope of improvement!

Placements: Note: This is a distance education programme. I am in the final year of the B.Com course and till date I have not received any communication regarding any placement. I wonder even if there is a placement cell. We only meet with other fellow students during the examinations, so interaction is minimal. So Cannot say how the other students are planning for their placement.

It is a very bad university. The syllabus is tough and outdated, which don't have any impact.

Placements: There are no such placements services according to the course offered by the university. If you are pursuing BCA and getting a placement for call centre what will be your thoughts? Seriously I don't recommend this university to anyone. If you joined this college, just drop out after one year and then go to some regular college, at least they will not trouble you.

University is making money by various fishy means. Students are required to pay their 2nd-year fees in advance before 1st-year exams. One can't apply for re-exams. It has bad faculty and intransparency. The fee for rechecking is 600 but for applying for the same backlog paper exam, it is 60. This is done so that student won't apply for rechecking.

The college does not conduct classes regularly.

Placements: No placement opportunities in this university; it's a waste of time. They only provide a degree and charge additional costs. They don't offer industry knowledge, and teachers just ask you to prepare assignments, wasting your money. It's better to choose other private colleges.

IGNOU - A con with pros , it is a blessing to those

Placements: There are 50 students enrolled in my course and none of them are placed as IGNOU neither provide placement opportunities not internship opportunities , if you are persuing any course from IGNOU you need to be ready to face the world as the college experience here is zero.

No value of money and time

Placements: There is no placement in this college; there is no department for campus placement. If someone is graduating from IGNOU, they are not responsible for any placement. In that case, it’s very poor for placement matters, so don't join IGNOU for placement purposes because it’s only for the name that it’s a university.

Absolutely dissatisfied not a worthwhile

Placements: In a restrospective of courses at IGNOU Ahemdabad in 2021, the student body of over 120 saw a spectrum of salary package.notably, the highest reached an impressive Rs 54LPA. In contrast, the low remaind around 3LPA. Throwing lights on corporate scenerio, HCL Tech emerges as the major recruiter entity, which positively highlighted the industry connection of the course.

Review of IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Placements: Eligible students can opt for this course. Around 1% of students got internships in our course, but many top companies won't allow students because this is an open university.

Review of Centre for Online Education, IGNOU.

Placements: Campus placements are one of the key things that our college promised during admission. Our college assured 100% placement assistance and students will get jobs by the end of their course. There are various companies offering internships like Internshala, Letsintern, and many more where students need to fill in details and apply. The rest of the companies hire when needed. Their hiring takes place on sudden demand.

Poor university, ineffective facilities, uneducated teachers, and poor placement IGNOU.

Placements: Here you don't get any placement, you have to find the placement yourself. Like other colleges, no company comes here for placement. Here you are simply given a degree.

It is an open college, so you cannot expect much from that.

Placements: They don't provide any placements. They provide only a degree. If you have a job and you need a degree, then only apply for this college, but if you need placements, you have to apply for other colleges.

This course is very tough than all other distance learning courses.

Placements: Our college doesn't offer placements at all. One or two campus drives are conducted every year, and those drives are also not related to this course. Those drives are related to banking, customer care, etc. So, you have to apply for jobs on your own later. It is always tough to manage this course, along with doing a job.
