Q:   Can I pursue B.Ed through a regular college and M.Com through IGNOU simultaneously?

A:
The eligibility criteria and admission policies for pursuing two different courses simultaneously may vary from one university to another. Therefore, it is advisable to check with the respective universities offering B.Ed and M.Com courses for their policy on pursuing multiple courses at the same time. In general, some universities may allow students to pursue two courses simultaneously, while others may not. However, even if both universities permit the simultaneous pursuit of two courses, it may still be a challenging task to balance the coursework, assignments, and examinations of both courses. Therefore, it is important to consider the workload and time commitment required for each course before making a decision. In the case of IGNOU, the university allows students to pursue multiple courses at the same time, subject to certain conditions. As per IGNOU's policy, students can pursue one regular course and one non-regular course simultaneously, or two non-regular courses simultaneously. However, it is important to note that students pursuing two courses simultaneously will have to manage their time effectively to ensure that they meet the academic requirements and deadlines of both courses. Therefore, it is recommended that you check the policies of the respective universities and assess your own capabilities and time availability before deciding to pursue B.Ed through a regular college and M.Com through IGNOU simultaneously.

Q:   What is the procedure to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU? Is there an entrance exam for the same? Where to study for it?

A:
Eligibility: You need to have a Bachelor's degree or a higher degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. In addition, you need to be a trained teacher in elementary education and have completed an NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. Entrance Examination: IGNOU conducts an entrance exam for admission to the B.Ed programme. The exam is of two hours and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions are based on General English Comprehension, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, Educational and General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning and the School. To do B.Ed from IGNOU you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, qualify in the entrance examination, and study the provided course material. You can choose the nearest study center to attend counseling sessions and workshops.

Q:   Which entrance exam is taken to study a course in Physiotherapy at IGNOU?

A:
For admission to the Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education program at IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) Regional Centre in Ahmedabad, you will need to go through the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU called the OPENMAT (Open Management Admission Test). However, it's important to note that the OPENMAT is primarily for admission to management programs, and it may not be specifically required for the Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education program. Typically, IGNOU offers admission to its diploma programs based on merit, without the need for an entrance examination. The admission process may involve a direct application and evaluation of your academic qualifications. To get accurate and up-to-date information regarding the admission process for the Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education program at IGNOU Regional Centre in Ahmedabad, I recommend visiting the official website of IGNOU or contacting the regional centre directly. They will provide you with detailed information on the admission process, eligibility criteria, application procedure, and any specific requirements for the program you are interested in.
