Placements: If I talk about the placement, those students who got good grades and secured good percentages, got good salary packages and were appointed by highly reputed companies or institutions. The students were appointed for different reputed posts like developers, programmers, technicians, etc.

Placements: There is no placement opportunity in the college because it is a distance education. Overall studying a course from the college is quite helpful and time valuable. Moreover, the certificate given by the college helps the students during their job trail. It is important to have the minimum 55%.

Placements: As this is an open university, there is less placement opportunity here. But this degree is acceptable in each and every company if you apply with this degree. Except for placements, everything is fine about this university. If you just want to get a degree for improving your profile, then I would definitely suggest you go for it. Even if you had any gap in your career, then you can definitely opt for this degree.

Placements: Regarding placements for my seniors, they are completely based on other additional talents like experts in MS Excel, Tally and SAP. If we get good percentage in IGNOU and do those other computer courses, the jobs are ready for us. That is what I heard from my seniors. I am also preparing for the same.

Placements: Placements are not there in my case as this was a distance learning and I was already in employment. However, a major percentage of the students pursuing MBA from IGNOU would have met their goals of employment. It being a distance learning course, the concept of campus recruitment is not a criterion in this case. Placements: According to my knowledge, the University provides the proper placement for the regular students. They rarely provide the placement as I am pursuing MA in tourism from the distance mode. If one can score a good mark and can get honour with the gold medal.

Placements: Placements happen every year. About 70% students got placed this year depending upon their capabilities and interviews held. Companies like IBM, TCS, Infosys etc hire graduates. The highest salary offered was 15,000 and above and the lowest was 3,000. Though the students acquire distance education, they are talented enough to be placed.

Placements: Campus selections are not done here and the companies are not called. Instead, students themselves have to approach the companies for the job. IGNOU students are considered in the companies and they are given placements according to their knowledge. Many of my batchmates and seniors have got jobs of software developers in different companies. On an average, they receive approx. 30k to 35k. The college provides internship for different courses.

Placements: This college is one of the best open learning platforms. I am doing my masters in computer application from IGNOU. They provide the top most study center for learning. I recommend people who are looking for the open learning platform, IGNOU is the topmost priority.

Placements: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) doesn't provide placements through campus recruitment because it's an open university. But the name and degree of IGNOU has much worth. Students can get a job through open campus placements and with the help of other employment services organisations. IGNOU earned good reputation through open placements of their students in various MNC's and in education sector.

Placements: IGNOU is an open college but still it provides the placement to the students as in form of a common recruitment. It gives many meritorious students and helps them get a degree to improve their place in the company where they are currently working. IGNOU gives an opportunity to all those who could not complete their studies due to various reasons.

Placements: My batch is going to be completed next year. So I am providing the details of my senior batch. They said the placements are around 70%. Most of the students got into the companies as accountants and assistant accountants. The average salary offered for most of them are around 25000 per month. The least stipend offered is around 8000 per month. A lot of small companies require more of us as accountants.

Placements: As we know, IGNOU provides distance education, so there are very low chances of getting the campus placement. But, some private companies came to our study centre for recruitment and selected 30 students from BCA and MCA. We had an interview session in our study centre from which only 30 students were selected, then again an interview was taken at the company's office and further 20 candidates were filtered out. Let me be fair, according to the standards of distance learning, the reputation and studies are pretty good and difficult too but IGNOU behaves less as a distance education institute and more like regular college in terms of mandatory attendance and assignments. Now, studying in IGNOU is affordable and you will have to actually work very hard, making assignments, viva and difficult examinations. Faculty and campus facilities depend on the centre you chose so that does not matter a lot here. ...
