IISER 2025 entrance examination for the academic session 2025-2026 will be conducted online/ computer-based test. Candidates will get a the nearest ION digital zone as their examination centre and will give the IISER 2025 entrance examination on the computer.

The IISER Entrance Exam 2025 pattern has been specified for this year's examination. It has been observed that the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 pattern remains to be same as of the previous year of IISER Entrance Exam which was also conducted in online mode I. e. computer-based. The only change which is made by the exam conducting body is the marks awarded for each correct answer. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the JEE Main cutoff for admission to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Research), a four- year full-time UG course. As per the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank stood at 903 for the students belonging to the General AI category. For other categories such as OBC, SC and ST, the JEE Main Round 1 closing ranks are 1665, 581 and 314 under the AI quota.

IISER Aptitude Test was introduced as a new mode of entry for IISC BSc admissions for the Academic Year 2023-24.
