IIT Bombay Campus- Absolutely satisfied with the placements and all.

Placements: Campus placements are really very good as compared to the other local and other IITs. In MEMS department which happens to be low placed department have got more than 70% of students getting placed this year. There are many different roles in core field- production manager, in non-core field there is analyst technology, software developers, consultants and financial post. The highest and the lowest package are 45 Lacs to 3-4 Lacs. About the internships again students more than 1100 have got inter...

Placements: 85% students in my senior batch got placed with the highest salary of around 35lpa and the lowest being around 5-6lpa. Many companies like reliance, BPCL, ONGC, GAIL, SAIL, and non-core companies like Deloitte came in the campus for placements. Students were assigned the roles of data analysts, Industrial engineers, chemists. Around 80% students who apply for internship gets internship. Average internship stipend is around 30K. Good placement, Infrastructure and facilities of college.

Placements: Placements records are excellent of the campus. Last year in my senior batch 90% placements placed in campus. The companies visited in campus are Google, Amazon, Facebook etc. They offered 2crore the highest package,40lakhs average and 20lakhs the lowest. It was good for students. 60% of students got internship from college. It was useful for student by a placement cell. 40lakhs the highest, average 20 Lacs and the lowest 10-12lakhs stipend offered during internship. So, excellent placement in c...

Excellent institute to learn engineering.

Placements: Placements are quite good for our department. As our department (for undergraduate programme) was started in 2007, only 4-5 batches have been passed our till now. Although placements are good (around 10-12 lacs per annum salary on average), students prefer to join some non-core company if they are interested in that company's field of work or many students even do for UPSC or MBA from IIM (CAT). In core field, companies like Reliance ADA, BEE, Tata Power visit our campus. In non-core field, ITC,...

A dream college. Best for CS students in India.

Placements: I was placed in Yahoo! Japan, in Tokyo. Everyone in my batch were placed. CS engineers from IITB are in great demand. Internships and research opportunities was overwhelming. Stipend was 12.5k. There is an amazing placement cell with students participating in the management of the placements actively. All in all, placements are next to guaranteed in and out of campus if you take this course in this college.

Placements: The average package for last season is 8 lacs per annum. L&T Co is the top recruiter for the civil engineering students. Most of the students opted higher studies rather than placement, and among those who appeared for placements, most of them were interested in non-tech companies.

Placements: The placements are good when compared to other colleges. Above 50% of the students get placed with a good package. And, some people do not sit for placements and usually try to get enrolled in a PhD programme somewhere. They do give pre-placement classes and help you prepare for the placements. Some people also get international placements with good package.

Placements: Pretty awesome for CSE department and electrical department. I would say average package of 8-10 for Mechanical. Singer people get PPO from the internships. Many people go for non core jobs as core job offers less money than non core usually. There are two seasons for placements. Some company's are open to B.Tech only and not for dual or M.Tech.

Placements: The infrastructure here is good if you are from CS, otherwise its fine only, but don't get into the news of millions of package as they all are fake.
