Placements: Campus placements are really very good as compared to the other local and other IITs. In MEMS department which happens to be low placed department have got more than 70% of students getting placed this year. There are many different roles in core field- production manager, in non-core field there is analyst technology, software developers, consultants and financial post. The highest and the lowest package are 45 Lacs to 3-4 Lacs. About the internships again students more than 1100 have got inter...
Placements: 85% students in my senior batch got placed with the highest salary of around 35lpa and the lowest being around 5-6lpa. Many companies like reliance, BPCL, ONGC, GAIL, SAIL, and non-core companies like Deloitte came in the campus for placements. Students were assigned the roles of data analysts, Industrial engineers, chemists. Around 80% students who apply for internship gets internship. Average internship stipend is around 30K. There is a placement cell in IITB which takes care of the placements...
Placements: Placements records are excellent of the campus. Last year in my senior batch 90% placements placed in campus. The companies visited in campus are Google, Amazon, Facebook etc. They offered 2crore the highest package,40lakhs average and 20lakhs the lowest. It was good for students. 60% of students got internship from college. It was useful for student by a placement cell. 40lakhs the highest, average 20 Lacs and the lowest 10-12lakhs stipend offered during internship. So, excellent placement in c...
Placements: Placement is more than 95%, quite good. Top placements reach about 1cr/annum. The average is around 15LPA. You get all opportunities from core to non core, be it engineering, software, consulting, management, finance, you'll find clubs and initiatives to support every field of interest of a student.
Placements: The placements of students of IITB with no doubt is amongst the best offered in the country. Jobs profiles consists of both core and non-core. The highest package offered in mechanical engineering was above 30LPA to non core, while in core it was around 15LPA. The lowest offered was around 6 LPA. Average amounting to around 10.5 LPA. The placement cell of IITB is highly reliable, helpful and played an important role during the placement process.
Placements: Placements are quite good for our department. As our department (for undergraduate programme) was started in 2007, only 4-5 batches have been passed our till now. Although placements are good (around 10-12 lacs per annum salary on average), students prefer to join some non-core company if they are interested in that company's field of work or many students even do for UPSC or MBA from IIM (CAT). In core field, companies like Reliance ADA, BEE, Tata Power visit our campus. In non-core field, ITC,...
Placements: The placements at IIT Bombay is one of the best among IITs with an average package of 10LPA for B.Tech students. The stats vary across departments with CS and Electrical being the highest package. Consulting and Finance are the major recruiters in Non core sector.
Placements: I was placed in Yahoo! Japan, in Tokyo. Everyone in my batch were placed. CS engineers from IITB are in great demand. Internships and research opportunities was overwhelming. Stipend was 12.5k. There is an amazing placement cell with students participating in the management of the placements actively. All in all, placements are next to guaranteed in and out of campus if you take this course in this college.
Placements: Companies which visited the campus included technip, mwh, fugro, dar al for ocean engineering. Max pay package around 6-7 lac per annum. All the interested students were placed. Roles offered to the students were Offshore structural design engineer, marine and coastal engineering. Few students also went for internship to NIO Goa. One joined incois as research staff at incois, Hyderabad after completing M.Tech.
Placements: The average salary of placements this time was quite less than the previous years for civil dept. The average was around 7.5 lacs pa. Around 75? People got placed this year. Companies like Larsen and Toubro in the core sector and other various financial, banking companies like Goldman sachs, Jio, Sclumberger, etc. In the non core sector visit the campus. Around 50% get internship from civil dept. Average stipend is 25k. Yes there exists a placement cell in the campus. It is very much efficient ...
Placements: Really good placement opportunities in both core and non core fields. From third year itself you get exposed to internships and have a chance to earn ppo also. Some big auto firms to oil companies to PSUs all come to our campuses to hire the best of talent.
Placements: The placements in IIT Bombay is really good, almost everyone gets placed here. The highest went around 1.39 crores. Consulting companies like Brain and co, strategy &, at kearney etc. Take the cream layer of the college. 3 trading firms come to our college every year : Floe Traders (Amsterdam), Optiver, and Futures First. Although there is hype that has been spread all over india about the packages of the students of IIT bombay. Only the day 1 and day 2 students get that kind of packages rest al...
Placements: My seniors who were interested, got 100% placements in reputed companies in foreign countries like Germany, France, Paris, Japan, South Korean. As being chemists, they often got placements either in teacher stream or as a researcher position in medicinal or other explosive material production companies.
Placements: The average package for last season is 8 lacs per annum. L&T Co is the top recruiter for the civil engineering students. Most of the students opted higher studies rather than placement, and among those who appeared for placements, most of them were interested in non-tech companies.
Placements: The placements are good when compared to other colleges. Above 50% of the students get placed with a good package. And, some people do not sit for placements and usually try to get enrolled in a PhD programme somewhere. They do give pre-placement classes and help you prepare for the placements. Some people also get international placements with good package.
Placements: Pretty awesome for CSE department and electrical department. I would say average package of 8-10 for Mechanical. Singer people get PPO from the internships. Many people go for non core jobs as core job offers less money than non core usually. There are two seasons for placements. Some company's are open to B.Tech only and not for dual or M.Tech.
Placements: The placements are usually good with both core and non core companies coming in the placements. The internships is usually available for third year students. There exists a placement cell that takes care of both placements and internships in the institute. It is useful mostly for third year students with respect to mechanical department.
Placements: The placements are very good and better than other colleges of the country. Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle are major recruiters. Even the non-core companies provide good salary package. Almost everyone who registers gets placed. Around 70% of the students did the internship in the country. Few went outside the country. The highest stipend was 2 LPA, and the average is Rs.25,000. There is placement cell, and it guides every student.
Placements: The placements at IITB are pretty good as compared to any other college in Mumbai or India. Most of the placements happen in the month of December from 1st to 16th. Every department has very good placement percentage. The packages of CS, electrical and mechanical are pretty high as compared to other branches, and most of the placements are in the non-core sector. The average package of IITB is around 7 lac/annum. Phase two begins in the month of February, and overall, 95% of the people get place...
Placements: The infrastructure here is good if you are from CS, otherwise its fine only, but don't get into the news of millions of package as they all are fake. But yes, you can get a decent package from any other branch. So, its good to be here in short, but don't aim for stars or the moon as it is just fine inside.
