IIT Bombay is an unparalleled experience.

Placements: Almost everyone who is willing to get a job gets placed with an average package of 10-12 LPA. Few want to pursue higher studies (Master's and Ph.D), and they get selected into top Ivy League Colleges in the US, while the others prepare for UPSC. Most of the students get placed in non-core fields such as finance, data analytics, data science, IT, consulting, etc., companies ranging from Google, Microsoft, Brain, BCG, L&T etc.

This college is with a different status quo, and it is at another level.

Placements: Taking chemical engineering in IIT Bombay over many reputed branches like bits Pilani CSE is a big decision for me. I talked to a lot of seniors before taking this course. Around 94% of students are placed as some students do not sit for placements and do higher studies. Almost all students get placed. Review of IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: It is a new course but the majority of students who applied for placements got a seat. Most of the companies related to the finance sector open up for BS. eco students and for going to the coding side. There are ample opportunities available. This branch is interesting and can engage you well if you even have a slight interest in economic studies.
