IARI and NDRI for which the eligibility criteria of the concerned ICAR-DU, including admission of graduates having passed with 3 years€™ degree are eligible for admission. Candidate should not below 19 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |

IARI Junior and Senior Scholarship shall be awarded to M.Sc. and Ph.D. students admitted under General Open Competition Scheme.The Awards shall be made by the Dean and Joint Director (Education) taking into consideration the merit of each applicant based initially on his admission and subsequently on his performance at the Post Graduate School.The normal duration of junior scholarships for M.Sc. course will be two years and that of senior scholarships for Ph.D. course will be three years.The value of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. scholarship will be 10,500/- and 13,125/- per month, respectively.
Indian Agricultural Research Institute - IARI Infrastructure
IARI is a fully residential campus for the students. Institute has five hostels for Boys (Hemant, Vasant, Shishir, Grishm and Sharad), one for Girls (Varsha) and one Saraswati Apartment for married students. These are spacious, well furnished hostels. Apart from hygienic foods, hostels provide recreational facilities including TVs, indoor games, book shop etc. IARI Library housing total of 3,34,128 publications including books / monographs, journals reports, bulletins, post graduate theses and other reference materials etc. Membership of DELNET and INFLIBNET has been taken for better Document Delivery Service and Networking.

Yes, if you took admission in 2022 for M.Sc. Agronomy at Lovely Professional University (LPU), and the university had ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) approval at that time (up to 2023), your degree would still be considered as having ICAR recognition.
