Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) admission 2024 is merit-based and is strictly governed by the reservation policy laid down by the government. The institution also accepts national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, etc. IIST offers undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, and dual degree programmes under seven departments Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth & Space Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, and Physics. IIST admission 2024: Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) admission 2024 will be done through the national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, JEST, etc. The basic eligibility criteria for the UG course is Class 12 and PG relevant Bachelor's degree. IIST Fees 2024
IIST fees include multiple components, such as tuition fees, registration fees, alumni fees, and more. Some of the components in the fee are refundable. IIST Seat Reservation 2024
IIST offers reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD for PG and UG programme. The seats are applicable as per the Government of India Orders. Additionally, if the ST seats are vacant, they will be filled by SC category candidates. Below is a detailed break-up of the seats for the all categories:

IIST Fees Admission Process 2024
IIST admission process 2024 is a step by step process, which candidates must complete to get admitted to their desired course. The admission process commences with the release of the application form and concludes with seat allotment. The IIST admission process can differ from course to course. Step 1: IIST Online Application Process 2024
The application process for IIST is completely online for all the courses. Before applying, aspirants must check the required qualifications for admission to the desired course. Candidates must pay the application fee for each course (the fees vary by category).
Step 2: IIST Selection
IIST prepares an admission rank list for candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fees. The list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam. In the case of the BTech programme, the list is prepared based on JEE (Advanced) Examination subject to satisfying the minimum marks prescribed as per the institution's admission body. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) application process is for all the courses are completely online. Candidates who qualifies all the eligibility criteria of their desired programme are eligible to apply. Candidates can follow the bellow mentioned steps to complete the application process:

Candidates who had qualified the GATE exams is eligible for the M.Tech at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates must also qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e., Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate (General / EWS & OBC) and 55% (SC/ST & PwD) from a recognised institution. Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology follows a reservation policy while allotting seats to its students. For the PG course, reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD is applicable as per Government of India Orders. Additionally, if the ST seats are vacant, it will be filled by SC category candidates.Here is a detailed break-up of the seats for the all categories:
