Absolutely satisfied and happy.

Faculty: Yes, all teachers are good and qualified. They teach well and concentrate more on understanding than marks. Yes, the course helps in making students industry-ready and helps us learn the standard software. Semester exams are challenging enough, with around a 90 percent pass percentage.

IIST - Unique or just another IIT?

Faculty: Faculty members are good, except for some. They are well-qualified and often explain the subjects well. The curriculum is not difficult but not easy either. You will be grinded for the whole semester with assignments, quizzes, labs, and practicals. Now, quizzes have changed to mid-sems, but still, it's not that easy. Exams are of moderate level, and it's relatively graded.

Learning and enduring platform.

Faculty: Specialization options are provided to students and accordingly, the curriculum focuses on building the chosen area knowledge in depth. There are various seminars and webinars conducted to help us get industry exposure. The exams are a bit difficult.

A good institute for study and research.

Faculty: Teachers are really good, well knowledgeable, and qualified. Apart from the professors, there are two assistant teachers in every subject. So, one can get help from the TAs also about the academic problem. You will get the tutorial from time to time, not in every subject, but, yeah, in core subjects you will get it. Talking about the semester exams, it is not that difficult; one can easily get a good CGPA after focusing in the class and giving two hours daily to study. The problem one can face i...

Our college is good for students who have an interest in space science.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful. If students are enthusiastic about knowledge, this is the best institution. The curriculum is very difficult. Exams are difficult. Most of the work is lab-based so students can get industry-ready. The only bad thing here is the attendance. The attendance percentage is 80%.

A hidden gem of a college (better than new IITs).

Faculty: Every teacher is highly qualified, and we have a very good student-to-teacher ratio of 9:1. Every teacher can connect with you at a personal level; keeping less student intake is, I think, a pro for IIST. The course curriculum is relevant, and we are also taught some space-specific stuff. The freshmen now also have the option of various minors.

Review of IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

Faculty: The faculty members are really good; they have great Ph.D. and work experience; they teach on blackboards generally; they are interactive with the first benchers; many of the Physics faculty are not that into attendance policies; they are easy going. The exams are tough; getting a good CGPA is tough.

Everyday starts with excitement and ends with new learnings.

Faculty: Personally, I'm okay with all the lectures. I admire and am amazed by their work. However, they are very strict about our dress code. They play a major role in making us responsible individuals. Finally, coming to exams, it’s quite easy to pass.

It is a very good beginning for a new life.

Faculty: I was very worried about my academics but later all such frustrations faded away from me. All these things were possible because of my teachers. Our teachers worked with us during research. They strictly banned ragging in our institution.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements, and really good infrastructure and facilitie

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and supportive. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. The curriculum is considered the best in India for aerospace engineering and is designed by the college itself. Semester exams align well with what is taught in class, with some high-order thinking required.

Satisfied with academics, sports and extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are knowledgeable and experienced; mostly, they are IITians teaching there. Some of the teachers are helpful. The semester is a little difficult but yes, it requires a daily 5 hours of studying to get 8 points. Pass percentage is, I guess, around 70%.

IIST review: good infra, facilities and placements but lack of extra curriculars.

Faculty: The Director, Chancellor, Registrar, Heads, and Professors are well-respected personalities in their fields. The Professors are highly knowledgeable and qualified in their respective expertise. The course curriculum for Aerospace is very relevant, with theoretical, technical, and practical applications making their students industry-ready. The course curriculum for IIST, particularly Aerospace, is considered very hectic, with lectures, tutorials, tests, labs, assignments, and projects going thro...

Many opportunities for working in ongoing projects and research work like in Space lab, Rf lab.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio at this college is good. Most of the teachers were very helpful. The academic curriculum was really hectic, as the focus was more on studies and research than other activities. The syllabus was based on the requirements of ISRO and space companies. Grading was relative and depended on the faculty.

It's a good college if you really want to study, and campus life is also good .

Faculty: They are good, all the teachers are highly qualified and they just do an amazing job. The difficulty of the semester exam varies from moderate to hard so if you want to pass the exam, you have to study. You can't take it lightly and constantly perform well for a good CGPA.
