Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to get admission at ILI Delhi?

A: 

Before applying to Indian Law Institute, candidates must ensure that they are meeting the admission requirements. For LLM admission, candidates must have passed LLB or any Law degree with a minimum 50% aggregate. PhD admission requires to have LLM degree from a recognised university with a minimum 55% aggregate. Selection is done based on a valid score in ILICAT examination.

Q:   What entrance exam scores are accepted by Indian Law Institute for admission?

A: 

Indian Law Institute accepts ILICAT exam score for admission. Candidates can apply for ILI CAT 2025 online mode on the official website of the institute. The last date of application for ILICAT will also include fee payment in online mode. . Candidates need to register by filling their personal details, contact information, details of the qualifying exam as well as occupation/experience details. The question paper of ILI CAT is based on English Langauge, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude and other legal aspects

A: 

Indian Law Institute accept admission based on a entrance exam - ILICAT for LLM and PhD courses. Admission to PG Diploma can be done on the basis of merit. For PG diploma, candidates must have PG degree in any stream, while Labour Law Diploma requires LLB/MA in Social Science. Also an additional 5% weightage will be given to the Law graduates/ CA/ CMA/ CS.

Q:   Can I get into Indian Law Institute PG Diploma with 70% in class 12th?

A: 

Indian Law Institute of New Delhi is a very prestigious Institute of Delhi that was inaugurated way back in 1957 by the then President of India Dr Rajendra Prasad. This Institute offers various programs like certificate, Diploma and degrees after graduation. For this, it conducts an entrance exam called ILICAT or common admission test of the Indian Law Institute. The test is conducted across India and anyone can appear for it. The only restriction is that the prospective candidates or the students who want to study here must have scored at least 50% marks in their graduation law examination. There is no restriction as to how much of marks the student has scored previously in his or her Class 12. So a student who has scored 70% of marks in the examination of Class 12 can think of seeking admission for a PG Diploma course here, provided she/he has scored more than 50% marks in her/his graduation.

Q:   When ILICAT 2025 Registration will start?

A: 

ILICAT 2025 Registration is likely to begin in March. Candidates can apply for LLM and PhD courses on or before the last date. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear in the ILICAT Exam in case they fail to submit application form before the deadline. ILICAT will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. ILICAT Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates who have filled the application form of ILICAT on or before the last date.

A: 

Before you begin with the ILICAT application process, keep the below-mentioned items ready: 

  • A working email ID and mobile number
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • ID and address proof (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
  • Scanned Passport size photograph (Format: JPEG)

Yes, you can fill the ILICAT Entrance Exam application form in phases. Each step of the ILICAT application form will provide a 'Save' option using which candidates can save the filled-in information. In case, candidates want to exit and complete the application form next time then they simply need to log in again and continue from where they left. The application process of ILICAT Entrance Exam will be complete once candidates pay the fee and submit the form. Moreover, candidates can login again and correct their details in the application form of ILICAT Entrance Exam as long as the window is open.
