All the latest updates regarding IPU admissions are as follows:

The CLAT 2025 results for admission to the 5-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses will be declared on Dec 10, 2024. The CLAT counselling registration 2025 will open on Dec 11, 2024, and the first allotment list will be published on Dec 26, 2024.
NEET UG counselling 2024 has concluded with the seat allotment result declaration of Special Stray Vacancy round for admission to the MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses. For the next academic session, the NEET UG 2025 dates are yet to be announced.
The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
CMAT 2025 registrations are open for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses; the last date to apply is Dec 13, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam will be held on Jan 25, 2025.

IPU admission 2024 is primarily entrance-based. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University/IP University (or IPU) offers UG, PG and PhD programmes in over 15 streams. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University course admission is based on IPU CET which is the official entrance and scholarship exam conducted by it. IPU Admission 2024: Eligibility & Selection

For courses including BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO, IP University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET), followed by a counselling round. IPU reserves some of the seats in the courses for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The reserved categories are SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Defence/Army/Minority. IPU Reservation Criteria 2024

The university offers seat reservations for admission to USS/affiliated government institutions and affiliated self-financing colleges other than minority institutes. Further, the IPU seat reservation for some of the categories is mentioned in the table given below:

Steps for IPU Admission Process 2024

For most of the courses, IPU course admission is entrance-based. Before applying to a course, aspirants must check out the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU UG, PG and PhD courses must follow the steps given below:

Step 1: IPU Application Process 2024

IPU application process 2024 for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu as shown below:

Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.
Enter the programme details and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Here, candidates have the option to choose between 'CET' and Non-CET courses. Now the university also accepts CUET scores for admission. Hit the 'Submit' button to proceed further.
Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.
In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.
Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Step 2: Reporting for IPU CET

After registration for CETs, the E-admit card will be available on the official website of GGSIPU. Candidates are requested to appear for their advised allotted examination centre on or before reporting time as mentioned in the e-admit card. For regular admission-related updates, candidates should regularly visit the GGSIPU website.

Step 3: Preparation of CET Merit List & Counselling

GGSIPU merit list is prepared based on inter-se merit for candidates obtaining equal marks shall be decided on the basis of age, that is, the candidate older in age shall rank higher. Eligible candidates are then called for a counselling round. The list of selected students for the counselling round will be displayed on the University's Website one week prior to the commencement of counselling. Allotment of seats to the candidates will be made only when he/ she attends the counselling session in person. A candidate who is allotted a seat needs to pay the required fee immediately on the spot at the time of counselling for admission.

Step 4: Reporting & Document Verification for Admission

Based on the counselling round of CET, students are then requested to report personally for admission and document verification and submission.

What is the IPU CUET Counselling Process 2024?

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University accepts CUET scores for UG & PG courses, including MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc. To take the CUET exam, aspirants shall visit the NTA official website (nta.ac.in). NTA conducts CUET-UG and CUET-PG, respectively for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. The vacant seats are filled based on merit in CUET after the merit list of the national-level test/university entrance test is exhausted. IPU conducts counselling in online and offline modes. The counselling process for IPU admission through CUET is explained below:

STEP 1: Register for Counselling

Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration. The registration fee is INR 1,500.

STEP 2: Login & Enrol

Login with the ID and password generated during registration to fill out the application. The IPU counselling processing fee is INR 1,000, which has to be paid during the enrolment for participation in the counselling procedure after registration. Fill in the details as asked and take a printout of the form and fee receipt. Document verification is carried out in online mode based on information provided by the candidate during enrolment.

STEP 3: Choice Filling/Preference Sheet

The preference sheet can be downloaded from the GGSIPU brochure. For online mode, candidates will have to visit the university's official website. It must be noted that the preference sheet is valid for only one counselling round. Hence, for each round, a new preference sheet must be filled out for each counselling round.

STEP 4: Allocation of Seats

After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region.

To be noted:

For the open house counselling, the candidate must produce eligibility criteria (including all documents/mark sheets) at the time of counselling. This may vary for some courses.
The counselling procedure mentioned above is as per the details mentioned in the official brochure. However, the proper IPU CUET counselling process will be mentioned in an official notification that the university will release on its official website.
On the day of admission/counselling, candidates must take a decision on the spot and no further time shall be given by the university.

No, the university does not offer direct admissions. IP University does not allow any of the affiliated colleges/institutes/agency to grant direct admission to any of the course of the university. Hence, the university is not responsible for any amount deposited or paid by the candidate directly to the affiliated colleges/institutes of GGSIPU. Candidates are also advised to not share their User ID or Username and the login password with anyone for safety purposes.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech +M.Techin Computer Science Engineering was 15339 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. GGSIPU MBA course is offered under five specialisations. For admission to IPU MBA in IT, the university conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. In addition, for other specialisations, the candidate's CAT score is accepted for admission. Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BCA admission is based on candidates' performance in the IPU CET entrance exam, followed by a counselling round. Q: How to apply for MCA at IP University?

For Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MCA admission, candidates need to appear for the NIMCET entrance test. IP University MCA (lateral) entry admission is based on the IPU CET entrance test. The university application procedure is carried out in online mode. Aspirants are advised to check the course-specific eligibility criteria before filling out the application. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for admission at GGSIPU:

Step 1: The IPU application process for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'IPU Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu as shown below:

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

Step 3: Enter the programme details and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Here, candidates have the option to choose between 'CET' and Non-CET courses. Hit the 'Submit' button to proceed further.

Step 4: Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

Step 5: In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

CUET application fee varies from category to category and the number of subjects chosen by the candidate for CUET. The CUET registration process is incomplete without the payment of application fee.

Placements: Many students of last batches have got placements in the IT sectors at very high packages. Some also got placements which will help them with their future studies. Highly recognised companies directly come for the interview.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very much awesome. AC classrooms, libraries seperate for MCIT and LAW department. Free Wi-Fi services are also available and a cafeteria too to get refreshes during the studies. A multipurpose hall is also there to play many games there with your friends.

Faculty: The best thing about the college is the faculty working there. The faculty members never give up and help each and every student beyond their limit whether they teach them or not. They also teach very good and extra of the syllabus which will surely help you in your Next exams for Masters and all.

Other: Many competition and events take place in the colleges to get students engage and don't feel stressed due to their studies. They also organised industrial visits, exposure and trips.

Placements: Placement cell is good in our college, all the students who gave the interview got placed in a very decent companies. While many students has opted for post graduation in MCA and do internships with companies while pursuing MCA. The highest package offered is between 6-8 LPA, the average package is 2.5 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. In our college, the Wi-Fi facility is also provided but it all depends on connectivity strength. Hostel facilities isn't available in our college. We have two separate canteens for both buildings. Medical facilities are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but there are some teachers who do not teach well. Whole class face this problem and sometimes we have to take help from online video or website. Semester exams are very tough as taught and prepared during the class.

Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in coding. One thing I wish to improve is infrastructure. Events and fests are held in the month of December and February.

Placements: Students are placed in the college is around 70%+. The highest package is 42 Lacs, the lowest is around 4.5 Lacs, and the average package is around 7-9 Lacs. The internship environment is good in our college. Most companies offered software engineer post. Also post in consultation firms are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at my college are good and satisfactory. The campus is only eight acres, and the sports facilities are less. The hostels are also safe but need improvement. However, the MBA and LAW blocks have excellent infrastructure, and the B.Teach building has labs on each floor. Proper classroom with projector are there. Cleanliness is top priority.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are aware of recent times and prefer modern learning methods. They understand the demand and current situation of jobs in the market. They guide students from time to time and provide all the important upskills hackthons and course details organised by our college. The course curriculum is relevant and suited for industry demand. The exam level is moderate and the pass percentage is 40.

Other: This course offer financial stability in the future after spending 4 years with up skilling you can enjoy after that with sufficient salary. More labs the latest should be present. Fests are good connectivity is also nice. Scholarship also provided to ews category students and other category students by ipu and government.

Satisfied with the faculty and the course.

Placements: Adobe is the top recruiter. This year the highest package was 17 LPA on campus. But 2 - 3 years back a student got the package of 1.7 crore pa off campus in Adobe. Microsoft is also one of the top recruiters in our college. Average package is quite decent.

Infrastructure: Labs are good and classroom are also good but some of the classes are not air conditioned, it sometimes gives problem in summers but it's fine. Labs also have all the equipment that are needed according to the curriculum. Computer labs are also good.

Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are both good. Teachers are also helpful to their students and have a decent knowledge of their subject. Exams also have good level that check the preparation of students properly. End semester exams are held at the other colleges of IPU.

Other: Campus is a bit small but situated at a good location.

Placements: In my course last year, almost 40 students were placed out of 60. Last year, the highest package offered was 30 LPA. But in our college on campus, the highest was 40 LPA; off campus, it was 95 LPA by Goldman Sachs. Companies like Amazon Dublin, Adobe, Honor AI, ZS Associates, etc. hired students last year. Generally, students get internships at startup-based companies.

Infrastructure: First of all, our college has a very small campus but is well designed. We have a huge library where students can study, or you can find most of the books in ours. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on our campus, which is really disappointing for students. We have a small football field, and we have multiple canteens where you can refresh. You can find PGs near colleges, where most students live.

Faculty: We have well-qualified professors, mostly with doctorate degrees, but I would not say they are knowledgeable. The course is designed in such a way that you will be industry-ready. We have two exams in each semester; one is the midterm college-level exam. And the second is the end-term examination, which is the university-level exam. Both are easy to pass because of lenient checking.
