A Very Underrated Government College.

Placements: Placements are average, not up to expectations. The highest package for Textile 2024 was 16 LPA, and 2-3 people got it. Top recruiters are Trident, Arvind, and more. Almost all 3rd and 4th year students get internships. This is the textile processing branch; they teach textile chemistry here.

Good for aspirants who are willing to do research or opt for higher studies.

Placements: The eligibility for placement is that you have to clear all subjects, and in the 7th semester, companies hire students based on performance in mock group discussions and interviews. The average placement offer is between 3-5 LPA. Companies like Glatt and Sun Pharma hire B Pharma students based on their requirements.

The college for fortunate students.

Placements: In the last batch, I saw that 38 out of 55 students were placed, and 8 students received the opportunity to pursue a PhD in chemical engineering through government fellowships in different countries. The highest package was about 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA.

Overall, the college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Our college has a good percentage of students placed, about 80%. The highest package is 7 lakhs per year, with an average package of 5 lakhs and the lowest at 3 lakhs per year. Top recruiting companies like Nestlé, Unilever, and EY visit here. Many students get internships from major companies. Top roles offered include machinery tester and co-worker.

Best college for chemical engineering fields.

Placements: Approximately 90-95 % of students are placed with an average package of 7 LPA and the companies that visited the campus were Exxon, BASF, Balmer Lawrie UAE, Cosmo Films etc. The placement percentage is low because many students don't accept the offer.

Wonderful faculty members and campus life .

Placements: Placements are good in ICT. From the 3rd or 4th year, you have to give your name for campus placement to the placement coordinator of ICT. As of 2021, Average package of my branch was 7 lac per annum. Many well known companies like Reliance, Tata chemicals, BASF, BPCL HPCL, ONGC, Dr. Reddy's laboratories, Asian paints, Ambuja cement, etc. Recruited students. Most students chose masters course, rather than placements. Getting internships is quite easy.

Outstanding college with perfect infrastructure and great facilities.

Placements: ICT is one of the best institutes for chemical engineering and chemical-related branch study. It is listed under the top 3 universities of Maharashtra. The placement is excellent. As per my knowledge and experience, nearly 80-90% of students are placed every year, and others go for higher education or self-employed. The lower package is near about 5 LPA, and the average package is near about 9 LPA.

Review of ICT Mumbai - Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. Top recruiters for our course are Biocon, Enzene and Entas. Top roles inf our course are offered in R&D, production and downstream. In our course, the lowest salary package of 4 LPA and the highest salary package of 10 LPA and the average salary package of 7 LPA are offered. All students got internships in companies like Yashraj Biotech Ltd, Syngene and Biocon. There are many departments in our college, and for every department, different c...

Best for Chemical Engineering.

Placements: Yes placements are good. I myself being a placement coordinator can definitely say that almost everyone gets at decent package. The average CTC is 5 LPA for Batch of 2019. the lowest CTC is around 3.5 LPA. The conventional companies visiting ICT are Reliance, Honeywell, Dr. Reddys. , Biocon, UPL, Aker Solution, Deccan Chemical and many more.

Great institute to learn chemical engineering and related subjects, and it is worth learning here.

Placements: The placements are really excellent in the bachelor of chemical engineering branch. In my batch, 45 out of 80 people sat for interviews, and rest opted for higher studies (MS or PhD). Till now, 42 people are placed. Out of 3 remaining people, one is going for MBA directly without job experience. So technically, only 2 people are remaining to be placed. The average package for my batch is about 6 LPA. The highest package is 17.5 LPA offered by BPCL, who took 5 people from our batch, me being one ...

A good place for the overall development.

Placements: Very few students opted for placements. Most of us wanted to for MS/Ph.D. or MBA. However, placements are not too fancy in terms of compensation but pretty decent and above average. Core companies do visit like Godrej, Kamaani, BASF, Adani, etc.

Amazing Hostel Life! Beautiful campus and the location. Pretty good research exposure.

Placements: Placements in ICT are generally good, but for Textiles is not really good. Most of the students opt for higher education in India or abroad. Scope for textiles in India is limited and many students have opted for MBA or other programs in my batch and senior batches. Research internships are good, industry exposure is almost good (Can be better considering the brand that ICT is considered). Highest salary in Textiles was somewhere in 4.4-5.5 LPA and lowest was around 2.5-3.0 LPA in my immediate s...

ICT has good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Very few students get placed in this college. The average is 10 LPA packages offered by Sun Pharma. They are also recruiting students and at minimum, you will get a 7 LPA package. Almost every student gets an internship.
