The college meant for placement, and it is job oriented.

Placements: Talking about the placements, IIIT-H is well known for it. According to statistics, it stands in top 5 in terms of placement in all over India with 100 percent placement record. The students are placed in companies like Google, Facebook, and Microsoft. The highest shooting is 36 lakhs per annum without any bonus and off-shore included.

One of the best colleges of India in terms of academics.

Placements: Placements in IIIT-H are considered as one of the best placements among all engineering colleges in India. In our college, 100% students get jobs in good MNCs from the campus itself(those who came through JEE Mains). The highest package offered in 2016 was of 35.0 LPA to CSE students and for ECE students, it was 27 LPA. The lowest package for both CSE and ECE students was 6.25 LPA and the average for CSE was 18.53 and for ECE it was 13.44 LPA. For CSE, we have major tech giants in our college as...

Greate college for CS geeks and not for other enthusiasts.

Placements: 100% selection. The average, which is shown on the website is too less as it doesn't consider PPOs and foreign placements. Simply put, it doesn't consider placements of many excellent students. So, after considering all these factors, the average package will become more than 20 lakhs per annum.

There are good research facilities in Information Technology domain and an integrated learning environment. There are lots of electives courses available. Lack of faculty in the electronics domain. The college is more focused on coding aspect than in the hardware part. The grading system is also not proper. Overall, the college is one of the best institutes in the computer science/ information technology domain. It is among the top IITs in India. It has 100% placements for computer science stu...

The college was excellent, with great facilities and environment for studies. The campus was awesome, the location was good and the obvious, you have the big brand name of IIIT that matters a lot. Other things like placement record and fees are also up to the mark. This brand is just next to the IIT Brand.

Here, five-year dual degree programs are also available. Students who want to pursue higher studies after the completion of B.Tech. should go for five-year dual degree programs. And, students who want to do a job should go for simple B.Tech. programs. Initially, the courses are same for four and five-year programs. Students who have taken admission in the five-year program have to choose their specialization. Students can choose elective courses according to the requirements for specialization o...

My college is a deemed university, where people are given a flavor of two main disciplines i.e. Computer Science and Electronics. It is among the top notch universities in the nation. My experience has been really great with the college. When choosing undergraduate people generally look for certain factors: 1) Credibility in the field - IIIT is known for producing best Software engineers in the industry. The intense course curriculum throughout 4 years prepares individual for any hardship and i...

In terms of CS, it is excellent. Though the faculty needs to realize the importance of extracurricular a bit more and even the branding of college. Some of the professors are experts in their own field and help students throughout the college life and even after if you can build that kind of rapport with them. Needless to say, students from the college get placed in the best companies with top notch salaries and in recent trends have even begun opening their own startup. Student life is pretty...

Being a research-oriented college, folks here are busy with things that can actually change. Since this college has very less number of people, almost everyone knows everyone else by face. This has a positive effect as seniors are ready to help. Faculty members here always motivate you to take up some research work which can help you to understand things better. The best part, in the third and fourth year you have a large choice of subjects. Lastly, here a lot of pressure is put on programming s...

The college is good with placements, but the infrastructure is average.

Placements: Placements for my batch and my senior batch in CSE department are 100%. The college provides internships in 3rd year. There is a placement cell. It's beneficial in getting good companies and negotiating packages. There are many international companies in the placements drive. Coding skills are must for everyone irrespective of the branch.
