Faculty are loving, but the university is seriously lacking in most aspects.

Placements: The placements were scarce, and no noticeable placement took place in the university despite having a placement cell. The placement cell is mostly defunct, and it is not a good idea to expect anything from it. The only work that the placement cell does is printing bonafide certificates and giving notice of occasional employment opportunities.

I think IUST Awantipora wll lead in future if it improves in academics and administration.

Placements: Placements are not so fast. Most of the students leave the university without getting any job. About 2-5% of students got placed in some companies. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000. The average salary package offered was Rs. 30,000, and the lowest package offered was about Rs. 25,000. Iqausar Software Solutions, Outlook Group, Saskens Communication Technologies, Iyogi are some of the companies that visited our campus. The choice of students and motivating their skills was the top priori...

Dissatisfied with the changing rules, faculty and favoritism.

Placements: No placements are provided in the college. There is no placement cell present. The university isn't yet working on it, I hope the college will have a placement cell soon. As far as I know, a very low percentage of students got the job after their degree. The majority of the students are left without any job. The university should work more on placement cell so that the students can get placed on campus. No company visits the university for placements.

I suggest the students join this college as it is a good one.

Placements: Diploma holders join the college in the second year of a batch. SC and ST students are taken special care as they deserve some additional points. Merit depends on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.

My experience with IUST AWANTIPORA.

Placements: Not much apourtunities when it comes to placement and because it is located at a distance of some 25 kms from Srinagar city so not many companies come for placements. So only placements that too under UDAAN scheme, placed not within the state but mainly somewhere in south India mainly Bangalore.

I am until now dissatisfied because of facilities available there particularly in academics.

Placements: Placements are least. According to our senior batch, 4 to 5 students got placements in computer Science each year. Average salary offered is 450000. HCL infosystems, iyogi, Rooman technologies, capgemini are some companies in which some students are getting their jobs.

The University is Mediocre at this point of time but the future looks bright.

Placements: The placement drive was held in the University when I was in my last semester and it was fortunate for me that I was among the 20 selected candidates but due to some unforseen circumstances we could't join on date and university was aware why could't they. But after that University took no responsibility to hold on the job by being in touch with them. This was a bad impact.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good Placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: A lot of construction companies usually come at the doors of this university as the students that study here have already cleared JEE Mains to get admission into this university. So there are quite high chances that you may get placed at the university.

The college has good infrastructure and loving and experienced teachers.

Placements: In Islamic University, there are no placements, but sometimes the university conducts placement function. Last year, one placement function was held on the campus. The placements are the problem in this university, but with the coming years, there will be more placement drives. The university is still growing in some aspects.

Placements: The college provides various placements in top reputed companies for the students obtaining fair percentage in their courses. Our last year batch has got placements in Indian and foreign companies providing them with very nice salary for their work.

I am 100% satisfied with this college, and I suggest this college to everyone.

Placements: The higher places were given to my batch, and to my higher batch. Up to 90% of the students got placed on the campus. The salary offered to the students starts from 1 LPA. My batch was given the work of electronics and communication. About, 80% of the students got an internship at this college. The experience in this college is excellent.

It is a good place to learn and excel in academics but industry exposure is less.

Placements: We don't have any placements here. There is no placement cell and no opportunity for placements. Kashmir doesn't have any corporate sector there, so it's hard to find placements. Still, an initiative of creating a placement cell started in 2015 and it brought some companies but nobody took the job.

Dissatisfied because of placement, good faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are not high, but you get a good basic settlement like a junior assistant or being a professor on the campus. About 30% of my seniors were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 13,000 per month. The roles offered were a junior engineer, professor etc. Almost 90% of the students get the internship from the college.

A little bit satisfied as university is doing great efforts to develop it a center of learning.

Placements: Honestly speaking I had not heard any placements in my branch from the university. The students are on own, they struggle themselves to find a good job. I haven't seen any companies especially in my branch CIVIL but sometimes there are job placements for other branches. Although the university is doing some extra work to excel the job placements. The university is giving its students internship opportunity at national level. I don't know what is the total amount of stipend during internship. The...

I regret joining Islamic University of Science and Technology.

Placements: I don't know about placements, but I'm pretty sure that, it is not a good university for placements. Not many seniors got the jobs, so do not keep hopes. I have to try hard to get a good placement throw this university. I do not know about the future, but now, the placements are zero.

Placements: The placements provided by the college were excellent. In our batch, there were 50 students, out of them, 45 got placements. Many companies visit the institution and select some students to train them. Also, they take us on tour in every semester. The companies provide 15,000 to 40,000 salary.

Placements: The placement drive is really good for candidates and it helps a lot to get jobs easily through. Previous batches got placed successfully and then we got more opportunities for jobs. The college coordinates with multiples MNCs and then they arrange placement drive for students before they complete their final year. Placement drives were delayed this year but still, we acknowledge efforts of our college to arrange drives to help students get placed in companies. ...
