Amazing crowd, really good teachers and non-teaching staff, and a great environment.

Placements: Summer placements in college are good. Companies like Paytm, ITC, Mahindra, and Accenza visit our campus and offer good profiles. Some are paid internships, but most of them are unpaid. There were a total of 17 companies that visited the campus for placements in the year 2013, post which, the number has always increased.

A review of JD Birla Institute.

Placements: The internships provided by the college were in well-known NGOs. There was no such stipend provided, but our performance was evaluated by the organisation. The placement cell is good. We got the option to choose which organisation we would like to work in, and accordingly, an effort was made to contact the organisation.

The best college with a low fee structure. Faculty members are superb.

Placements: Placements are provided to engineering students in Jadavpur. But, placements for the mathematics department are quite less, like 2 or 3 people get placed with a salary of around Rs. 40,000 per month. Basically, students from our department opt for M.Sc and then PhD if possible. After pursuing M.Sc, students can get placed, but students prefer clearing NET exam and then pursuing a PhD so that they can work as professors. Many of the professors from our department are the alumni of Jadavpur itself...

This college provides good placements and faculty members. But the campus is a bit small.

Placements: Placements were excellent for the students of our senior batch. Most of the students are willing to take up a job after BBA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Many good companies are visiting the college and looking for young talents. Companies like Swiggy, Tomato and HUL, etc., visited our college for recruitment.

The number of companies visiting our campus for placements of the production department was around 25, from the core, IT, and consultancy sectors. It is a great place to grow and glow.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. Most of the companies offered internships and jobs in finance and accounting related work. I think more opportunities should be introduced for marketing and banking jobs. Many big companies like PWC, Wipro, HSBC, and other banks visit the college to offer jobs to students every year.

Jadavpur is not easy, but it prepares you for the outside world. Embrace this challenge.

Placements: You need to have just one special skill among core subjects, coding, data analytics, etc., to get placed in any company that is visiting the college for placements, and you will be given roles accordingly. Around 65 students in our batch already got placed and its mid-October only. Placements continue till April-May next year. Last year, 12 out of 100 students from our department remained without getting placements. It's highly unlikely that someone doesn't get placed here. The average salary pa...

Review of Jadavpur University - JU.

Placements: The university provides placement opportunities, and you have to grab it. But one thing is sure, that quality will not be compromised. Reputed companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and Synopsis visit the campus to conduct placement drives. One gets ample opportunities to excel in life, but you must utilise the opportunities properly.

Placements: Placements of our batch were average. The highest package offered was about 36 lacs per annum, the average was about 5-6 lacs per annum, and the lowest was about 3 lacs per annum. PSU stopped visiting since 2012. Almost every student got a job offer except a handful. Internships were also provided here. The selected students who got placed were offered salary packages of about 7-8 LPA. There is a placement cell that is very helpful. But Jadavpur University still lags behind than its counterparts...

Placements: The college has a placement cell. Almost 75% of the students get very good placements. The rest are also offered placements but are average comparatively. Reputed companies visit the campus to offer placements. Having a good academic and behavioural record is enough for a student to get an attractive placement.

Placements: Most of the seniors were well placed on campus. We were offered compulsory internships by the college some of which were converted to permanent jobs. The companies that visited our institute for placements were Bajaj Capital, Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital and many others. The institute has a separate placement cell. Placements: Placements for my batch and senior batch were good. Those who were willing to take campus placements were all placed in the campus placements. PWC, Larsen and Toubro, Peerless Finance, Kairos Consulting, etc., visited the college. There is a student and liaison office, and hence, information exchange is very efficient.
