Placements: In 2024, there is 100% placement for average branches like Mechanical, Chemical, and Civil. In 2024, the highest package was 1.4 crore per annum, and the lowest was 4 LPA. You can expect tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The highest package ever was 1.8 crore per annum, which was offered by Google.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is about 99%, which is the best thing in this college, especially my department. The highest and lowest of this college are also good. The highest package, especially for my department, is 40 lakh, and the lowest is 5 lakh. About 90% of students got internships.

Placements: Our college aims to provide 100 percent placement for students. The highest package offered in our course was of 12 lpa. And the average package was 7 lakhs. Top recruiter in our course was reliance , Godrej, Exide , petroleum companies. The students in our course got internships in many reputed companies like ONGC and many petroleum companies. Placements: In 2022 and 2023, the mechanical engineering department has successfully obtained 100% placement. In this running year 2024, placement is also going well. Top recruiters are Caterpillar, ITC, Varroc, Airbus, Bechtel, Bajaj, Exxon, IDFC, ICICI, PwC, Tata Steel, Ather, Ola, etc. The placement coordinators are very supportive and the deserving candidates will never be disappointed. Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed with roles in software, core, and consulting companies. The highest salary was 36 LPA offered by Texas Instruments. PWC took the maximum of 13 students. About 20% of students got internships in electrical engineering. In internship also PWC took 12 students and remaining got roles as SDE in different MNCs.

Placements: Placement parentage is about 97%. It has stepped down a little. Otherwise, it's good. Specially the packages are really awesome. Average package is around 10.2 lpa. The highest package for last year is 37 lpa, and the lowest is around 4 lpa. Students get jobs in core software as well as consulting companies.

Placements: The university is known for its excellent placement facilities, especially in the engineering departments, where the highest salary package can exceed 1 crore and the average package is around 15 lakh per annum. However, final year Master's students in Biotechnology are also eligible for placement, and some have been placed in companies such as Nestle and other regional companies. Most Biotech graduates from Jadavpur University prefer to do research at a premier institute in India or abroad.

Placements: On average 90% of students get placements. About 18 LPA is the highest paid and 2.4 LPA is the lowest paid. Many companies come here to hire students. Many students got intern about 90% of students get internships. WBCS officer is the most common role in our department.

Placements: The English department doesn't provide placements; rather, we can get recommended by professors, which might take us a long way. Being aware of the lack of it, the students are proactive in their approach—always seeking out opportunities and internships; the interdisciplinary nature of the department allows students to pan out in areas of filmography, journalism, curation, art, philosophy, writers, teachers, critics, even in mathematics if they choose to, founders of organizations, and much more...

Companies like Deloitte, Godrej, Pepper Fry, EY, PWC, etc., are invited to the college for providing placement opportunities. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Most of the students come from business backgrounds, and therefore they tend to join their businesses after graduation.

Placements: About 90% of the batch gets placed, with an average package of 10 LPA and the highest package being 53 LPA. The major top recruiting companies are Deloitte, PWC, ZS, Texas Instruments, Protiviti, Polestar, Fluor Daniels, and Haldia Petrochemicals. The percentage of students getting internships is 35%. The top roles offered in our course are Graduate Engineering Trainee.

Placements: The total batch size is 90. The placements of this year, 2024, were excellent; almost 90% of placements were done even in recession. The highest package was 1.4 crore, and the average package of computer science and engineering was 20 LPA. 3 students from computer science got into Google. Almost all the top companies came for hiring at Jadavpur University.

Placements: Eligibility for placement is definitely to finish your degree without backlogs. Other than that, certain criteria were set up only by the company that was looking to hire. The students in engineering have massive placements where the package might even hit as high as 1.5 crore per year. The placement percentage is also around 90%. I am preparing for UPSC, so I didn't take a job.
