Average college. Not too good college for middle-income group people.

Placements: The highest salary offered since three years was 9 lacs per annum. The placements are not good. I don't think that the money they charge for the college is worth the facilities they provide. So, it is mainly for the high-level students. The fees are too high, and internship which the college provides is for one month, and now you think, how much will you learn in one month.

Not very much satisfied with the college mainly because of facilities.

Placements: About 5% of the students were placed. The highest average salary was around 4.5 Lacs and the lowest average salary was around 3 Lacs. A variety of companies visited among which some are Wipro, Gojrej & Boyce, Capital First, Future First, TresVista, Tata Global's, J. Thomas. Roles offered were marketing research, tea taster, business development, digital marketing, financial analyst, customer care. About 80% of students got internship from college. Average stipend received was around 2500. There ...

Awesome campus life and awesome teaching system. But, we want some placements.

Placements: There is no placement option after completing B.Sc course. No one is placed after B.Sc in the science stream. After M.Sc, some companies recruited us like Vedanta who gives 7.95 Lacs salary. 6 out of 31 students were placed in this company. There is no arrangement for the internship.

The best college for the young ladies.

Placements: Our college placement cell, as informed by the seniors, isn’t that strong, but definitely, we had companies like HDFC and Wipro coming in to take interns from our college. We have summer internship also for the third year students. There were only a few students who got placements, i.e. 5-10%. The placements and internships were restricted in our college city Kolkata until last year. Definitely, our college is stretching hands to provide the best placements.

Bad infrastructure but great course curriculum.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements yet. Internships for a long term and short term are offered by companies like Bajaj, ITC, Pantaloons etc. Everyone who opted for internships got placed with 100 percent success. No stipend was offered to students for short-term internships and for long term ones, it was dependent on any prior work experience the candidate had and the company.

I have mixed reviews about this college. The faculty of the college is good though some of them can perform better. The classes are held regularly and the crowd is good. According to the facilities provided by the campus, the fees is quite high. Recently, the college canteen has improved, it has been trying to provide more facilities to students after constructing a new floor and also introducing Commercio Conclave, the business convention of the college which was first held in 2015.

Good-education, academic curriculum, methodology of teaching, intelligent students, good reputation in industry, spacious laboratories and workshops, big playground Bad- crowd of students is bad. They are uncouth and uncivilised. The campus is not safe for girls. Girls often get molested by their male classmates and even by faculty members. There is a lot of political influence on the college. Classes often get involuntarily suspended due to strikes and rallies carried out by students. Books are...

When I was a kid I used to dream to study in Jadavpur University as according to local people it was the best engineering college of Bengal and obviously the cream student who perform well in state joint entrance will only get the chance to attend the lectures of the emeritus professors, the whole of Bengal keen for. Though my ambition came true but the passion for which I had dreamt so much went in vein. At least I should say that because of the poor quality of the faculty, lack of infrastructu...

Overall a good college. You can get admission to this college.

Placements: About 90%students almost placed in the course. The highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Some top companies came to hire students from TCS, Wipro, etc. About 93 students were placed in previous years. There are many activities done besides the course.

Jadavpur University. One of the best in Kolkata.

Placements: The College campus is very good. All the teachers there are supportive. It is one of the top colleges in Kolkata. For M.Tech, the scenario of college is awesome, but if you are looking for a placement, you should prefer only IIT. As per knowledge all teachers are very much experienced and have deep knowledge of the subject.
