Placements: Placement at jadavpur university vary from department to department, in CSE and IT is excellent, companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Visa, Snapdeal and many more comes. In electronics the placement is great with many core and IT sector companies visiting. Placements: Placements in core companies were pretty good with top companies like Tata Steel, Maruti, Tata Motors, Fluor Daniel, Mahindra, all recruiting from campus. IT companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro recruited in mass. Analytics firm EXL, Mu Sigma as well as auditing companies like pwc, Deloitte are regular recruiters.

Placements: Almost 60% students of my batch got placed till date. Almost 80% students of my senior batch was placed. Those who does't get the job either aiming for higher education or startup. Some visiting companies this year are - L&T, MND, Phillips Carbon Black Limited, Infosys, TCS, Vedanta, HPCL, Floor Daniel, Tata Projects and many more. The University has launched the Internship Matchmaking during e-summit for students.

Placements: The infrastructure of placements is very good in Jadavpur University. A lot of students are placed every year from here. Noted companies like TCS, Vedanta, Reliance, Honey Oil etc. come here every year for placements to select good, intelligent students. Many students depend on it. Placements: Placements are very good from the last 5-6 year, according to placement statistics IEE department stands 4th. The average package this year is 6.5 lakhs per annum. Almost 40 students out of 45 successfully placed every year in most of the renowned companies like Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Texus instrument, Siemens, and many other PSU like ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, etc.

Placements: Placements were average, out of a batch of 40, 25-26 students got placed. The highest package was by cgi 8.5 LPA and the lowest by cap gemini 3.15 LPA. Placements: Our senior batch 13-17 and our batch 14-18 has a record placement which is almost close to cent percent. Placements: We had placements from Star India, Zee India and Network18 TV in 2016, however, the job opportunities are less as the recruitments in Jadavpur University are conducted across various streams. Depending upon the vacancies, some local news channels and NGOs also hire students from our college.

Placements: Decent placement status, out of 40 (average strength of the class) 20-25 get placed, rest opt for higher education like GATE GRE Plcament range lies in between 6-11 Lacs. If someone has idea of coding then companies like goldsnatch are offering higher packages for him.

Placements: There were various IT companies, and some of us got placed. Most of the students of the previous batch got placed in various IT firms. There were no power sector companies. So, it was not good years regarding placements in power sector for power engineers. Some colleges showed interest to employ some of us as faculty members, though they prefer people with PhD as faculty members.

Instead of taking part in an internship we took part in a 3 week power plant familiarizatuon programme organized by our department at NPTI Durgapur.

Placements: The placements are very good. Almost 50-60 companies come to JU every year and take more or less than 90% of the students with good LPA. Placements for core streams are quite good at present. The average package offered is 20 LPA. Some students from CSE, ECE and IT get a very good package of 30-40 LPA also.

Placements: Placement in general line is not good for us & for seniors also. But there were few company came mainly Educational Institute ( like pathfinder, rice etc.). They hired 20-30 % from our whole batch, but again Pay scale not up to the mark I must say. Few of our friends have already left that job. Because salary & working pressure is not equivalent at all. So who join here for B.Sc. I must suggest you to go for higher study, & I am confident you will find many ways ahead.

Placements: Since Jadavpur University is ranked at no 7 at all India Engineering college ranking. It has 100% placement ratio. Like of my Seniors batch the highest package was 37.2 LPA and on an average all students were getting around 12-15 LPA in many companies. Many of the tech giants arrive here.
