Placements: I am a student of the electrical department. The highest salary package offered for the students of the electrical department this year is 26.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8-10 LPA. Almost 85%-90% of the students got placed through campus placement drives. Almost 60%-70% of the students were offered internships. The highest stipend offered is 2 lacs, and the lowest stipend offered is Rs. 10,000. The average stipend offered is Rs. 40,000-50,000. There is a placement cell in the col...
Placements: Jadavpur University had really good placements last year and also the current year. Last year, almost 80% of placements were achieved. From the mechanical branch, 80 out of 90 students got placed in core companies which is really good. This year, almost 75% of the students got placed, and the placement drives are still going on. We are hoping that the placement percentage would reach 85% by the end of the semester.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is really helpful if you require your area and choice of placement. They provide internships in really good organisations which gives a lot of exposure. The exposure is mostly in NGOs, Montessori, and special centres for human development course.
Placements: For the mechanical branch, the average package offered was 6.6 LPA, the median package was 6.5 LPA, and the highest package was 16.8 LPA. The highest package was offered by HPCL. Young Optics provided an international offer with a package of 13 LPA. Many companies like Maruti, Honda, Bajaj, Tata, Godrej and many other core companies visited the campus last year. Along with these, many consulting companies like ITC Infotech also visited the campus this year. For internships, Hero Motocorp and Sue...
Placements: Placements for my batch were pretty good. My friends who got placed through college are happy for what they are doing and where they are. There were quite good placement opportunities provided by the college. The visiting companies not only offered us jobs but some of them offered us higher education on their behalf which was the best part.
Placements: JD Birla invites few companies by the completion of the course. Some of them also offer studies along with a job, which attracts the students a lot. It also offers summer internship opportunities. HSBC also offered internships for students. The college provides very good opportunities for commerce graduates.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Various companies like ITC, Pantaloons, etc., visit our college to offer final placements. ITC company hired 10 students for the hospitality sector. The salary packages offered are pretty good compared to other colleges; they are roughly around 3-5 lacs per annum. In the final year of a batch, various companies visit and offer SIP only for a month.
Placements: Placements provided in the college were average for the last 2 to 3 years. Previously, placements were far better than the current placements. Mainly, the students of core branches are suffering as there are no core placements. The curriculum is not very suitable in today's age, and for better placements, it must change immediately.
Placements: A placement cell was started in the college during my final year, so it was in the nascent stage. Most of the students from our batch opted for higher studies, and some got placed on their own. I am unaware of today's scenario of placements.
Placements: Since it is the beginning of my final year, therefore until now, only one company visited the campus for placements, and that is Bajaj. Three of our classmates got selected with a salary package of 8 LPA. Companies like BRIDGEi2i, ZS Associates, TCS, Infosys, and Maruti Suzuki have taken the aptitude test and will notify the shortlisted students soon for the final drive. Approximately 80 students out of 120 of our seniors got placed in reputed companies. So, you can expect about 75% of mechanica...
Placements: Companies like Wipro, Swiggy, Delloite and some other companies visited our campus for placements. Approximately 40% of the students were placed. The salary packages offered were around Rs. 2,00,000 to Rs.4,00,000 per annum. The associate level roles were offered. The college provides good internship opportunities as they have tie-ups with companies like PS Group, Birla Copy, Red FM, and many more.
Placements: Placements provided by the college are not good. Only one company visits the campus, i.e., Vedanta (HZL), and it recruits only 6 students. The package offered to the students was 7 LPA. One of the disadvantages is, if you fail in any exam in your entire course, you will not be allowed to sit for placements even if you clear that exam later.
Placements: The placements and internships in the college were decent. I didn't attend placements in the college. I got placed in the role, which I'm looking for and was satisfied with it. The placement cell has been developing and improving year by year, and it would create greater prospects.
Placements: I'm not looking for jobs or internships as I wanted to go for further studies and do my masters in UK which I am currently doing at Warwick University. The college did help me get into a very renowned university. Most of my friends got placed in various sectors.
Placements: Placement scenario is pretty good here. There was also a hike of the number of companies visiting our campus as compared to the previous batch. Students got placed in deliotte consulting, kariwal industry, rungamatte tea and industries ltd, motilal oswal securities, pwc acturial service, swiggy, amrawati tea company, j thomas and company. The positions provided to the students were sales associate, assistant marketing manager and associate analyst depending upon the company. The avg salary offer...
Placements: Placements are not upto mark. Some good companies with good packages came the previous year, but this year, except a couple of good names, there was no remarkable addition. This resulted in students avoiding the placement interviews, and taking up alternate options. College shall try to rope in brooding startups or renowned establishments to reshape its placement opportunities.
Placements: The campus placements in our college are good. The college provides many opportunities for students to attend the interviews. Good companies visit the college for recruitment. Our college also provides internships and is associated with reputed companies. The stipend offered in internships is also good.
Placements: Placement of Jadavpur University is quite good. This year Out of 100 students of my senior batch 94 were got placed. The highest salary was 27.5 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA and average package was 7.5 LPA. Company like Amazon, Siemens, Wipro, PWC, TCS, Infosys, Samsung etc. Visited. And also PSU company BPCL and IoCl also recruited two of our senior. Internship was also good this year. Almost all the students got internship somewhere. Placement cell also work very efficiently.
Placements: The average placements in our college are 70%. Mostly IT jobs are offered to students, and core branches like civil, mechanical, construction, etc. have a lack of placements opportunities. The average package offered is a bit high. The faculty members are excellent. Mostly circuit departments students get placed early. The average salary package offered in our department is about 4.50 LPA.
Placements: Two on campus offers from Capgemini and Ipsos. Joined the latter as a Data Analyst. 98% student from our department got placed. A few of them went for higher studies. Maximum package - 17LPA Minimum package - 3.15LPA Avg. Package - 7LPA Top recruiters included Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, etc.
