BMS in Tourism and Hospitality Management - Batch of 2025

Jain university College Life.
Placements: There are 12 students in my healthcare course because this course is newly introduced by our college. 45.5 LPA was the highest and 3.50 LPA was the lowest offered by the college for the package. Accenture was the top company and Microsoft. Almost 70-80% of students got easily placed in internships through the college. The role offered by this course is hospital administration, like the head of the department who is running all the departments of the hospital.
Infrastructure: The facility of Jain University is so nice for every student. They help students in every situation. The infrastructure for our course department is also very spacious, with Wi-Fi available in every class. The quality of the hostel food is so bad; most of the people complain about the food, but they do not respond. However, all medical and security facilities are top-notch.
Faculty: The teachers of Jain University are very kind and helpful. They will never judge students, and they treat every student equally. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant to our subjects. They give us internships related to our subjects. Especially, the semester exam is so easy for us. At the end semester, there is a 50-mark exam, out of which only 17 are passing marks, and the other 50 marks are counted from activities, viva, presentations, etc.
Other: I chose this course to continue in the hospital industry. The best thing about this course is the greater impact of getting knowledge rather than just learning lessons. They provide every single session to get a virtual experience of what we are learning and the knowledge we are gaining.

Corporate BBA - Batch of 2025
Offered by CMS Bangalore
3.8

Good place to gain knowledge as well as enjoy but dissatisfied with the management and planning.
Placements: 70% of the students are placed, while the remaining students opt for higher studies or take care of their parents business or own startups. The highest salary for a BBA graduate is 9 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. One of the companies is EY, Deloitte, or Dell. 85% of students got their internships in their 2nd year and the recruiters are Dell, EY, Metvy, and Lernx. The roles offered are sales and marketing manager, business development manager, and warehouse manager.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, a library, computer labs and parking facilities. The campus is quite small compared to other colleges in Bangalore. The hostel that Jain groups in is affiliated with is MOJO. To be honest, North Indian students will like the food provided in the mess but for South Indian students, we don't like the taste and food. They organise many events in the hostel and every building is located in a good surrounding.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and the quality of teaching is really good. The thing is we have to take the initiative to learn new things from the teachers and participate in the events that they refer to. It can't be told that you will be industry ready but by getting internships and experiences, you will be. Semester exams are easy and the pass percentage is above 50%; exams can be cracked easily.
Other: The reason for me to join and opt for this degree in Bangalore is to get more exposure and networking.

Absolute dissatisfaction with the infrastructure and students' attitude but still great placements.
Placements: About 68% of the students in Jain University were placed. The highest salary package offered by this course is 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course are KPMG, Deloitte, IBM, Bosch, etc. Roles include Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, Entrepreneur, etc.
Infrastructure: The university has a well-stocked library with over 1,57,730 books, along with PCs and laptops for internet access. For relaxation and entertainment, students can enjoy the fitness center. A health center with well-trained medical doctors and an ambulance service is also available.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and qualified, but the teaching quality is pretty bad. This course is relevant for the future as it focuses on accounting, and the university prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are pretty hard, and the pass rate is 85%.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA with Electives) - Batch of 2022

4Placements5Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
One of the best colleges of my life.
Placements: For placement offers, students need to get 70% marks and 75% attendance for eligibility for placements. The college faculty provides limited placements for the domain of software. There are so many companies that offer placements to college students. The average salary package offered by the college is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. There are limited placements. This is the main drawback of the college. Around 65-75% of students get placed in the placement section.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are allotted on your department and year of study during the admission process. Most rooms are shared in the first year. Around 2 or 3 students can share each room. Single rooms are generally allotted from the second year onward. I was given a single bed, study table, chair, cupboard, bookshelf, ceiling fan, tube light, and Wi-Fi. It is available in all hostels. Bathrooms are shared and cleaned daily. There are automated washing machines.
Faculty: The MCA course has a good future in the domain of software development, so I chose it. It helps in the development of software or applications for the real world where future academics will be better too. We only need to develop the coding and network area to get a better future in the course.

My opinion on the Jain University.
Placements: Almost all the students get placed here. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Apple, etc., visit the college to hire students. Every student from my course got internships. Software engineer and web developer are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: We have a separate classroom for our batch and we do have a computer lab. There is a physics lab and a chemistry lab. We do have a workshop for first-year students. The hostel facilities are quite good but the food taste is not good. Although medical facilities and sports are good enough.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They are also very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. Holidays are very less. Semester exams are tough only but students can pass them. The pass percentage is 80-85%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it, and the future revolves around artificial intelligence. The best thing is we have machine learning subjects every semester. There are not very big things, and I wish that would be better about my course. There are very less events and fests.

Better than Christ in some ways.
Placements: It is rather hard to find placements after a B.Sc. course. An M.Sc. is a must to find placements, so don't hold out hope for that. However, the college will help you find internships and will give you breaks to attend them, so that is something nice about it.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but from what I have heard, the hostel is really good, even though it's not within the campus premises. The classrooms and labs are well maintained; the only issue is that the building in which they are accommodated is kind of small.
Faculty: The faculty could be better, no doubt. All the young teachers lack real-world experience, but they are knowledgeable and ready to help. The curriculum is very simple and practical; it could be a little tougher. The pass percentage is 33 percent, and the semester exams are kind of hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. There are many fests here, both cultural and academic.
