B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Jain Deemed -to- be University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology
3.4
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
A college with good infrastructure, average faculty, good sports, a fun life, and average placements
Placements: Most of the students got placed on campus. Almost 90% of students got a salary package of less than 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the year 2024 is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Google, Accenture, Futurense, etc., visit the college and recruit students. Our college promised everyone that they give 100% internships offer by the end of the 4th semester. AIML and cloud engineers got some good packages from our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. Wi-Fi is average on campus, but in the hostel, it is good. Our classrooms are alright. There are labs according to subjects. The food is good compared to other colleges. There are 3 -5 canteens. For sports freshmen, it's tough to get into a team, but there are sports like football, tennis, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and some just say the things that are in PPTs. I don't think I can trust them totally. Our course makes students industry-ready. There should be an effort from your side. Mostly, the assignment questions are asked in the semester exams, so those aren't that hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in app and web development, and I don't regret it. I wish some new subjects to be added which are relevant to the course. Our college conducts many events like hackathons, ethnic days, and many more. It's just very good.

MCA in Information Security Integrated with Certification in CompTIA Security+ - Batch of 2022

Overall a good college. The management is friendly.
Placements: Internships are good. We are offered internships in the 4th-year of the degree. Technical industry-level roles are offered in internships, which provide students with experience in the industry at the time of internships. Almost 80% of students get placed. The maximum package offered this year is 88 LPA. From the 8th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I plan to get experience in the industry for two years and then opt for the M.Tech degree.
Infrastructure:
Faculty: All faculty members are good, qualified, and knowledgeable. The student-teacher relationship is good. There are three exams per semester. The first two exams are conducted for 50 marks for each subject. The third exam is held for 100 marks for each subject. To opt for this college, students have to attempt the entrance test for this college.
Other: Many events are conducted by our university. There are more events on technical, cultural, and management festivals. Sponsors for these events will be very huge. Around 10-20 universities participate in our events, which help students to interact with other college students.

Jain Deemed to be University is quite a good university.
Placements: In our university, 80 to 88 percent of students are placed in companies. For this course, our friends getting the packages are mostly the lowest package, which is around 3 to 4 LPA and the highest package, which is around 8 to 10 LPA packages. The top roles offered are IOT engineer, Data analytics, IOT architect, Solution developer, etc. The top recruitment companies are IBM, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: Our university has a normal infrastructure. There is also available Wi-Fi connectivity but many times it does not work well. The security checking is moderate, and the classroom AC is not working well, but the laboratory is neat and clean. The library has two types: one in online mode and another in offline mode, but the library has a peaceful environment.
Faculty: Our faculty is very well educated, and they give us quality education as well. They are experienced and knowledgeable. Other teaching styles are very motivating to us. Their study material and notes are mostly relevant to the curriculum for this course. They prepare perfectly for the exam.

The faculty members are very good, but the campus is very small and bad.
Placements: Placement is pretty good as I heard from seniors, this year itself one of our seniors got the highest placement ever in CMS. Many companies come, but I am not that aware of those as I am a fresher. If you want to pursue a job after doing your Bachelor's degree, CMS is a great option.
Infrastructure: Very small building, it's the only drawback. Rest everything is mostly perfect. If our campus was better, it would have been the best college for BBA in Bangalore. I also don't recommend the hostel, it's bad, very bad, not worth it to stay in it, paying 250,000 a month.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good and cooperative. They help us a lot with studies and work. Some faculty members are not that good, but most of them are the best. We also have a lot of options, like if the class doesn't like the teacher, they can replace them.

The best university of my life - Jain University.
Placements: Placements are pretty good. Well-reputed companies are offering placement options. CUSAT is providing a personal email to its students, and this even helps us while applying for jobs and placements. After the COVID pandemic, placements became comparatively lower than before. As the package offered to us is so good, 11 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are 10 hostels among which anyone can be allotted to a candidate. The hostels are generally equipped with basic facilities and generally comprise twin-sharing rooms. Each hostel has its own food canteen where breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are provided daily. There are ample options for vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian candidates.
Faculty: I choose this course because of my interest in teaching jobs, and I have a lot of interest in computers also. The exams are conducted 4 times in this course because there are 4 semesters, and every semester has 1 final exam. The teachers are giving us good teaching also.

Better than Christ in some ways.
Placements: It is rather hard to find placements after a B.Sc. course. An M.Sc. is a must to find placements, so don't hold out hope for that. However, the college will help you find internships and will give you breaks to attend them, so that is something nice about it.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but from what I have heard, the hostel is really good, even though it's not within the campus premises. The classrooms and labs are well maintained; the only issue is that the building in which they are accommodated is kind of small.
Faculty: The faculty could be better, no doubt. All the young teachers lack real-world experience, but they are knowledgeable and ready to help. The curriculum is very simple and practical; it could be a little tougher. The pass percentage is 33 percent, and the semester exams are kind of hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. There are many fests here, both cultural and academic.
